The year end report has been uploaded here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/static/pitchabitch/full-year_summary_2010.php

2010 brought us a total of 276 PABs which resulted in $242,000 paid to players and affiliates. RTG powered casinos generated 53 PABs, MGS 36...while Cryptologic generated 4. (Wagerworks = 0 PABs for 2010)

MGS had 76 PABs in 2009, which is interesting since they had half that many this year. In 2009, there were 314 PABs total.

Interesting reading if you have the time.

And the past six months have been loaded up as well...

Thanks, I love reading casino-complaints :) Betfair

My favorite complain (from october): "Player complained that they used to enjoy the casino's games but didn't any more"

By the way Casinomeister, "July" is a broken link.

Sharp eyes will catch the fact that the total recovered back to players for 2010 ($242,00) has dropped sharply from 2009 ($458,000). I believe this is largely due to a couple of big-ticket issues that got settled in 2009, thus bumping up the total for the year.

Possible that the PAB reduction on MGS was due, in part, to the final seperation of US players to a new platform ruling out many.

The Wagerworks bonus structure is probably helping keep the figure low - the bonus often only gets awarded AFTER playthru is complete. Nothing to argue about really - a very good way of handling affairs IMO. Plus no US players of course. And WW (IGT) licencees are usually top quality outfits - Paddy, Virgin, Rank, Coral etc.

Would be interested to know how many of the 276 complaints involved bonuses?

That usually runs about 60-70% (of valid, processable issues). I'd have to go through all the monthly reports case by case to give a definitive answer.

Sure, I'll get right on it. You hold your breath and I'll get back to you ASAP. ;)

That's a lot of work for just two guys, so kudos to you both, Max and Bryan.

The numbers are interesting, as are the causes for complaint which provide a further indication that bonusing remains a serious issue for the industry.

I believe the number of complaints generated by an operator/software provider has to be viewed against the backdrop of the size of the operator and the volume of transactions handled, which may explain why Microgaming licensees have positioned that company relatively high on the complaints list, whilst more questionable providers are lower down.

Gotta agree on RTG, though!

And Playtech did surprisingly well - they have a lot of sites out there.

I'm glad you have categorised complaints by software provider - perhaps that will practically illustrate to these software companies how important it is to not only choose their licensees with care, but to monitor their behaviour as well.

A 'bad operator' list based on number of complaints might also be useful - that would be a good warning device for players (assuming of course that most of the complaints against that particular operator were valid)

a few notes/questions:

Is it a typo on many of the months statistics as when you list Club World it says MICROGAMING beside it... or is this different than the rtg group?

You mention once that Cleopatras palace was taken over by 32 red???? If this is the case its the best news ever. Is this fact? If so, can we go back and ask the operator for our payments? (I have had a CDS complaint in for MONTHS but they are "still waiting to hear from the operator").

After seeing all of this work that you and Max do I would like to apologize for the long "greasemonkey vs. Clubworld" post. https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/greasemonkey-vs-club-worlds-alladins-gold.38840/

I never realized how much work you guys do and how insignificant my complaint probably looked.

Thanks for all the work:thumbsup:

Yeah, that would be a typo, my bad. Thanks for mentioning it.

You mention once that Cleopatras palace was taken over by 32 red????

I don't recall that, do you have a link to where it is posted?

That aside, 32Red does have a history of trying to settle old issues when they acquire a property. For instance this was the case with both Nedplay and Golden Lounge.

No worries, water under the bridge.

Max, a terrific year for you. It is hard to have to hear (see) story after story, player after player, and casino after casino. I can easily see why you might get a bit "snarky" once in a while. :p

Seriously, without Bryan and Casinomeister and Max, a lot of folks would have had to just give it up. I am impressed!

Fixed. :p

Could you please point out where exactly? I can't find this. Golden Lounge and Nedplay were picked up by 32Red last year.

Thanks for the input

No, my bad - I was actually posing the question to Max or Bryan - whether such typos might affect the number of complaints listed against each provider.

#16 HERE:....

Yup, quite so, again my bad.

In that particular issue the PAB was incomplete and the OP was AWOL. We waited for a month then stale-dated the issue.

I think Bryan plans on updating the report accordingly.

Yeah - but how many players?
As you know, I promote casinos from a variety of brands and the number of players I get at Playtech casinos is pathetic to put it mildly!
I wish someone would tell me what's wrong with them, as personally I think they have a very good software package...

Playtech has some of the best looking-games around. For example the Gladiator. I played Gladiator for a long time, but it was veeery hard to win. Their software package is very good when it comes to gamplay and graphic. Playtech casino lobbies are also very neat-looking. Easy to use. But I will not use their slots again, "impossible" to win :)

I think that their bonuses pale in comparison to RTGs. So unless you already know about playtechs, you would be more likely to play elsewhere based on the promotional offers.
