Sorry to be so absolutely original, but if comparing the antics of casinos for the best part of a decade, I still see 32Red come out on top, despite hardly ever playing there! :D

Whilst others have been up to all manner of scandals and player- repulsion tactics, I can only see 32Red still be reliable in that sense.

Same games, mostly highly-reliable CS and just 'consistent'. Because that's surely what one looks for in a Casino of the Decade Award.

The likes of Casumo have had more indiscretions and tabloid scandals than the Tories, and other fan-favourites like VS are still stellar in a lot of ways, bar the odd major balls-up. But I'm afraid only one casino stands out for the coveted prize, and that's ol' 32Red!

My choice is videoslots
Reason being despite all the new companies coming and going like L&L Europe, Trada, and the rest Videoslots has always been here answering, helping sorting out problems.
Consistant promos, not treating the forum members like children.
And despite lowering the rtp on a few providers it's still my fav casino to goto.

I think what let them down is that players were previously complaining about the 5% bonus, which must be the lowest in casino history :eek:

I personally don't see the point in it, would have been better totally removed.

For me it was the way they tried to make it so much more difficult to self exclude, tried to justify it saying it was what the UKGC told them was right, then got fined for RG issues couple of years later. I couldn't pick a casino that has deliberately attempted to make it more difficult for problem gamblers to stop playing.

Granted, it is a bit....'negligible' :eek2:

Thing is I stopped factoring bonuses as a yardstick years ago, as casinos either stopped them altogether, wrapped them up in convoluted terms, or just made them utterly threadbare. But as an 'all-round' casino that keeps itself in good stead and avoids purposely shafting players like *others* round here, I fail to see how they wouldn't get a nod :cool:
 
Despite the last year at videoslots. I would still vote for them as casino of the decade.

They have done this consistently. The thing they did with lowering the rtp was not so great but they had to so they can still offer the stuff we all got used to.

In the end they are a business and will do stuff to stay profitable. That’s the goal of any business.

They went from fast cash outs to 24 hour pending. No flushing. And no weekend cash outs.

And let’s not forget that long thread on responsible gaming and how they handled that.

I like Casumo too! But why does nobody comment anything about Betsafe, a casino from Betsson Group? I have been playing there for a long time and from my personal experience I never even once had any problem with them.

Have not tried Betsafe, sounds good. I dont think anybody has mentioned Cashmio. I forget about them because everything is seamless. Withdrawals fast and service good. They credit spins without question if something fails. Friendly as you like and really do seem like the happy casino. I wish they had better rewards.

Casino Of The Decade: Videoslots

If considering a decades worth of work I choose them.

Top of their game on everything and i cant find better bang for my buck for rewards. Ive not seen any screenshots of other jackpot wheels or prize draws.

I would like to see something that mentions the RTP in reviews though or something maybe to highlight the reality of the current state for any newcomers.

Casino Of The Decade is an impressive accolade and i can understand why the RTP issue could sour it but that said they get my vote as they tick all the boxes in all other areas.
 
I really don'think either deserve casino of the year (arguably) but for decade I'd say it's a coin flip between VS and 32Red
Whether you dislike any recent changes it doesnt undo a decade's worth of dedication here and the simple fact is is, even today, issues get sorted and if you play by the rules, you'll get your winnings
 
Casino of the year and decade has to be VideoSlots. The reps constant input on here deserves that alone, always helpful and polite despite the crap he/she has to deal with sometimes. Despite being 85k up at VideoSlots this year, withdrawals are still processed within minutes and they still offer me 100% bonuses and offers throughout the year. No other site would do that and Betfred, Betway have banned me for winning less.

Fall from grace: Kindred Group. They effectively stole circa 3500 EUR monthly commissions when they closed my affiliate account down earlier in the year. No warning and refused to answer any e-mails.

Best Casino Group: No brainer, L&L Europe - they have grown significantly this year on CM, great rep and casino experience.

Worst Casino Group: Viral Interactive - They open a site for a few months, scam players and then open another with a new name. Rinse, repeat...
 
No Brainer for me. I vote for Videoslots Casino!

I think everyone knows I would vote for them. As others stated they have super duper insanely fast cashouts. huge choice of slots, battle of slots, wheel of jackpots.

Yes they do and have made huge cutbacks the last year and a half and it appears to be getting more and more worse. But they still keep their withdraw times at the same timeframe. If this changed I would stop playing there instantly. But other than that. They deserve to be voted Casino of the decade. Oh and the rep is also here 16 hours every day.

Yes. I've been member of Betsafe about 8 years now and never had any problems. CS is in good level and lots of promotions going on every time. No mines in terms and all works as it should. So why not one of the candidates.

Why should the awards be restricted to just Casino of the decade?
Mark_32Red has been probably the most active Rep for well over 10 years. During that time he has seen awards come and go where 32Red went from the go to casino in the communities opinion to just being a trusted casino yet he is still here to deal with any issues most days.
His work rate in the past was so evident if you recall the ongoing promos 32Red offered and he had to deal with a lot of extra work.
I suggest a very late entry for Rep of the decade and I would vote for Mark hands down

Casino Rep: @homerbert He has a huge group of casinos to look after and has assisted many members with any issues they have come across.

My votes are never popular because people still have an issue with Direx/N1 but I play at a lot of casinos and I find they have a great rewards system, treat VIP customers very well and have the fastest withdrawals in the business. So, pretty please don't yell at me like last year lol
 
Casino of the decade ....... that's a really hard question.
The best I have ever seen was VS for the period @Dan_Pragmatic was there. Best part of VS is still his work.
But that is only a few years.

L&L, great finish on the decade, future is yours.

Trada, Rizk, I wish I could say the same with L&L.

But if I am going for the best casino for the best part of this dacade, I think I will agree (based on my personal limited experience) with @goatwack and say 32Red.

Casino of the Decade - for me it's 32Red.

They may no longer be the great award gathering force that they once were.
And yes, they have made some "business decisions" that many of us would deem to be "not cool".

BUT....

I cannot pretend to forget all the good that they have done over the years. Things like...

The Slotmeister promotion (which ran for what....10 years?).
I was late to that particular party as I only joined CM/signed up at 32Red in late 2013.
But I can say this much.....I had a TONNE of fun taking part in that.

There was also the various freeroll tournaments they ran (Daily Avalon, Fortnightly Freerolls, World Cup 2014 among others). Again, great enjoyment was had from those.

Then there was the Dish of The Day/Christmas promos (when I was able to take them, I must confess that the day I got bonus banned at 32Red was a sad day for me).
Again, they helped me have many an enjoyable session.

I was with 32Red as a regular for only 2 years, but what a 2 years it was.
Without doubt, some of the absolute best time that I've ever had playing online slots.

Then you have the rep, Mark, who has now clocked up 11 and a half years (?) here at CM.
I'd say that's pretty noteworthy, given that we here at CM can be a pretty tough and (dare I say it) a sometimes unforgiving crowd that can be...cough.... "a tad hard to please".

Not only that, he's had to put up with a lot of criticism of the brand (some of it warranted, some of it most definitely NOT warranted) and a lack of gratitude (again, some of it totally unwarranted) from some of the membership here.
And yet...he has ALWAYS handled that "uglier side of the job" with CLASS, like a true professional.
To do what he has done for so many years deserves some credit and respect.
I know this much...if I tried to do a rep's job, I'd probably jack it in after 3 months, maybe less.
It takes a special type of individual to do that job well. And I'm not it.

In fact, I'd even go as far as to perhaps suggesting that there should be a separate category
for the Forum Member Achievement Award....a "reps only" category.
And make Mark the first rep to receive that honour.

And then finally the casino itself. It ticks a few important boxes...

CM Accredited for the entire decade - CHECK
Multiple winner of Best Casino Award (4 years running from 2010-2013) - CHECK
A still healthy AKA "not too shabby" CM rating (currently 8.8) - CHECK
HIGHEST AVAILABLE RTP SETTINGS ON ALL OF THEIR GAMES - CHECK!!
No utterly ridiculous OTT SOW requests - CHECK
A hassle-free, stress-free experience when cashing out - CHECK

Yes, the pending period is a bit of a drag, I won't deny it. But for me personally, as someone who refuses to reverse on principle alone, I can tolerate that.
It didn't put me off playing at 32 Red back then, and it doesn't put me off playing at Casino Rewards now.
And it won't put me off from making a return to 32Red in the future.

So yeah.....32Red for me all the way. Despite me hardly ever playing there for the past 4 years.
