Maybe the kurds will get a similar agreement with the syrian govt, for an autonomous region, as long as the oil proceeds etc.. go to govt.

I don't know enough about the kurds to know whether this area is their 'homeland' I always thought they were 'mountain folk' as it were, saladin from the crusader times was a kurd apparently, he was a sultan so right at the top.

It doesn't bother me re the turks and kurds, but if a blood bath of citizens has been avoided that can only be good. If the armed kurds, the militia, don't want to withdraw it's up to them, they'll lose against the turkish army, so it'll be a pointless waste of life.

The problem of the dnc server is I don't trust the deep state and I don't trust the liberal media, bill binney former technical director of the nsa, no less, has cast doubt on the official narrative [I don't know if he has changed his mind since] The dnc story was too convenient for my mind, the deep state or permanent govt and media lackeys never wanted trump, still don't and will do anything possible, including making up and exaggerating things, to get shot of him.

Google Kurdistan to read some of the history.

The blood bath has been going on for a week because Mr T allowed it to go forward. So it has not been avoided, but it might be less now for the next five days. Either way, Mr T has blood on his hands. Why not instate the five days before allowing Turkey to march into Syria?

Bossert was Mr T's handpicked Homeland Security Advisor, not someone from your wet-dream "deep state" henchmen. His position did not need Senate approval, so it was purely Mr T's choice. And he confirmed over and over again that the DNC server/Ukraine thing is nothing but a debunked conspiracy theory.

And just to enlighten you, here's how it came to the story.

Crowdstrike (which has been used by Mr T's administration as well) checked the DNC server. One of the founders is ex-Russian-turned-American citizen a long time ago. For some reason, one of the "Breitbart" lookalikes (can't remember the name) spread that he was born in Ukraine and still have ties to the country. All because someone said that he was born in the ex-USSR, which most Americans have of course no clue what it means. It all mushroomed from there.

Why do you care about dnc server? What could it possibly contain to have any affect to present times?

Well it possibly links to the ukrainian's, the dnc hacking narrative not only damaged trump but also the russians relations with the us govt/public opinion, many anti-russians in the ukraine would be pleased with this outcome.

Of course if you despise trump, it doesn't matter if it's true or not, if it was a frame up by crowdstrike and the dems to impeach trump, you'll just see it as a lesser evil, something that just had to be done.

I don't see trump as the threat to civilisation many on the left do, I'm pretty sure I don't agree with his outlook on life as a whole, the way he carries on etc.. but he is a one off, and that appeals to people, leaders always have something different about them that sets them apart, it can be a bad trait, an ability to bs like tony blair for instance, but they'll excel in it, whatever the trait or traits are.

So what happened to Bossert, is he still a homeland security adviser to trump?

Trump chose john bolton, so I'm not sure his judgement on appointees is impeccable, somebody in govt would've recommended many of these hirings is my bet.

This article is well worth a read regarding the dnc hack issue, how it relates to mueller's findings etc... 'best practice' required the fbi to examine the server not rely on a third party's, hired by the democrats, assessment/analysis.

edit: just to add would the owner of crowdstrike, a former russian, be anti-putin and like to see him overthrown by chance?

I remember that guy, quite a hawk, was surprised to learn he was a rear admiral in the us navy with medals/awards etc..and surprise surprise now works for CNN. People on the left don't seem to think it's a bit odd a pro democrat, anti republican news media organisation hiring lots of ex govt officials, e.g. clapper, brennan who worked in the spy/surveillance sector etc... years gone by the democrat/left media would've supported people more like snowden and assange, [who have revealed abuses of power and mass surveillance] now they hate them, a very odd and dangerous development.

The 'new' left don't seem to care about these things, as long as clapper and brennan etc.. sound 'woke' and on message all is good. They have been boxed into a little corner of debate, unless it's about lgbt, climate change or racism they're not interested, which suits the powers that be fine. And trump riles the new left up as he isn't woke and obsessed about those type of pc issues, he's more interested in traditional issues like jobs/economy, infrastructure, crime etc..

Maybe some day you'll learn that he doesn't care about any of the traditional issues either. He still cares only about himself and money. But facts don't seem to matter to you anymore. Guess Fox did its job finally.

That is the best joke of the month mate.

Jobs/Economy - He borrowed $1.5 trillion and poured it onto a growing economy. That's all. Something he has done all his life. Borrow and never pay it back. And he was only able to borrow it because the US still stands in good credit, contrary to him who didn't get a dime from American banks.

- More than 1/3 has been spent on share buy-backs
- Maybe ask the GM employees in Lordstown whom he told in his braggadocious manner: "Don't move. Don't sell your house."
- According to the latest data (Mr T's agency): Manufacturing in September fell to the lowest level in a decade
- On average Mr T created fewer jobs/month than Obama in his last 3 years
- Economy still grows on average only by about 2%, far from his so bigly promised 4% and 5%.

So where is that miracle you so much proclaim? Where are those huge benefits from the tax cut? Did anyone check how many of the jobs people took in the last 3 years are sufficient to feed a family or are maybe second and third jobs? How many are temporary contracts? The deficit hit nearly $1 trillion in the last year and that with "the best economy in the history".

Infrastructure? - Never heard anything from him.

Crime - the bill was in preparation before Mr T became president. It's just that Moscow Mitch and his cohorts blocked everything they could.

Geez mack, my fingers start hurting from writing facts down for you. Please, take those blinders off! :D

As for people going to CNN or MSNBC, maybe going to Faux News & Co. would be much worse. And who said or stated that they hate Assange or Snowden? Please post one single quote!

As for Mr T: "he isn't woke and obsessed about those type of pc issues"

You are not seriously thinking that a racist would care about racism, a climate change denier would care about the climate and the future of this planet, a LGBTQ hater would care about LGBT issues?

Trump's the trigger master. Its priceless comedy when the media gets all triggered over nothing.

Obama throwing Clapper under the bus.

I did say he is more interested in those subjects, I didn't say what he'd achieved in those areas though. [the crowds at his rallies seem positive and genuinely enthusiastic, which could be an accurate measure re his performance]

I have mentioned before how sceptical I am about an inflated stock market, he's got a massive job on his hands to get manufacturing to return to the US as before, probably impossible to achieve but at least he recognised the issue and there has been an increase in manufacturing jobs.

Having a leaky border with mexico does impact on crime, some won't like that being said but given the drugs trade, people traffickers, gang violence etc..then it must be true...building a wall/structure may reduce this, certainly makes americans feel more secure and safe I'd say that migrants go through the official immigration process where they can be vetted.

america is a huge country, we can't even tackle crime in the small uk and stop teenagers stabbing people to death in london, so no president can really solve all the problems but he can support the police in doing a difficult job.

And with all the negative attacks daily since he took office, it's amazing he's been able to mostly ignore it and get on with the job, many would just feel fed up facing that level of hostility from the msm especially when for years before they were very friendly to him, inviting him on shows, giving him his own prime time apprentice show.

Trump was the poster-boy for wealth & aspiration in the media, and mostly in a good light. So the agenda-laden vitriol aimed at him the last few years is frankly laughably hypocritical.

Perhaps he fired one too many people on his show, who knows

And who said or stated that they hate Assange or Snowden? Please post one single quote!

I know they have both been smeared, snowden as a traitor who should face jail and assange as a russian asset, who should also be jailed for life, for exposing embarrassing material, eg. on things that went on during the iraq war [a war which the media heavily pushed for and promoted]. They are both seen as enemies of the state by the US govt, so not surprising the media lackeys would do their bit to shape public opinion against them. If Snowden had the media's backing as a whistleblower, I'd doubt he'd felt he needed to escape the country like he did.

Obviously as the msm are against snowden and assange, it's not going to be easy to find articles proving this via the msm presence on the internet, so it would take time to do. I could reverse the question and say can you point me to positive news coverage/comment on assange and snowden from the msm?

However in a few minutes of looking I have found this article written by Ecuadorian diplomat Fidel Narváez who was in the london embassy at the same time as assange:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

A former diplomat who worked in the Ecuadorian embassy while Julian Assange lived there in asylum debunks 40 of CNN’s smears against the WikiLeaks publisher.
By Fidel Narváez

The Western corporate media has shown extreme bias against the whistleblowing publication WikiLeaks and its publisher Julian Assange. Nowhere is this more evident than in a recent CNN article on the imprisoned journalist, which completely botches the facts....

CNN’s attempts to shape the narrative on WikiLeaks and Julian Assange are not new. On March 28, the TV program Conclusiones, on CNN Español, claimed — without evidence — that Assange had published the famous INA Papers leak, exposing the corruption of Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno and his family.

The intentions of the show were immediately transparent from the loaded questions made by the reporters:

“How long will Julian Assange remain at the Ecuadorian embassy in London?”

“Aren’t you going to kick him out?”

“What has Julian Assange brought to Lenin Moreno’s government but headaches?”

This baseless accusation was subsequently used two weeks later by the Ecuadorian government to justify expelling Assange from its London embassy, in a flagrant violation of international law"

It is a long article so I don't expect anyone to read it, but it would be interesting to see the msm attacking donald over his govt's pursual of assange with the extradition request however I think you'll have a long wait. [not sure of fox's stance on assange and snowden, I expect it will also be negative from some of the commentators invited on the shows, but doubt tucker is against them]

Don't you think the press coverage needs to be different for a president? Trump just killed hundreds of US's allies with a single phone call. When those idiots are entertainers then who cares what they do as long as it's entertaining. And when you start your campaign with the search of Obama's birth certificate and banning muslims entering the US...then yeah it's a pretty deep hole to climb out of. And he has never even tried to be decent. Just attacking everyone. Guess it was entertaining for these trumpsters but for decent people it's not.

That's right. You're not a decent person if you back trump ;)
Glad im on the fence with one leg hanging outwards, ready to jump off. At least I can consider myself an average person.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

That's what I like to see, straightforward puritanism, with no grey riff-raff notions. It's almost child-like in its honesty.

Then finally, comrades, we can eliminate anyone that may think differently, like parts of this or parts of that, without fully being baptized in totalitarianism.

This 'Good vs Evil' is very endearing. It's a bit like Star Wars and the like

Mr T's administration has continued with their efforts to have Assange and Snowden extradited to the US. So are they hating Assange and Snowden? Or look up what Mr T said about Obama commuting Manning's sentence.

And Faux News & Co has parroted this administration's position one to one.

Fact is no government likes it when what they call "classified" stuff being made public. To say the media hates this or that, is pure subjective conjuncture.

It's getting slowly tiresome trying to answer your posts mate. :D

You should see the number of animators at these rallies who direct the crowds what to do!

The stock market did what it usually does when they see bigger profits for corporations, it soared in the outlook of the massive tax cut Mr T planned and then indeed did give corporations. But it has been as expected a straw fire as the DOW has pretty much stagnated for the last year.

As for manufacturing.....geez mack, look first at some numbers before making statements such as: "but at least he recognised the issue and there has been an increase in manufacturing jobs". Please look at the factual numbers for the last years, bear in mind that the US population has also grown in the last 10 years. Just take the January values as a reference, do you see any significant super-jump in Mr T's years? I don't. The trend simply continues from Obama's years in a recovery cycle from the 2008 crash. The numbers are still far below those of 2008 and again, bear in mind the US population grew by roughly 4 million people since 2016.

As for your "leaky border"

- over 90% of drugs are coming in through legal ports of entry
- over 2/3 of illegal immigrants are simply overstaying their visa or entered the US via other ports of entry
- the absolute majority at the Southern Border are asking for asylum, those are not illegal immigrants. The asylum regulations are part of the UN Charta which the US has ratified. It is a different question whether their asylum claims are justified.
- Mr T has not built a single yard, not even an inch of new wall. All has been replacement. So how can US citizens feel more secure? The length of unprotected/unfenced border is still the same as in 2016.

As for "negative attacks"

Give me a break mack with this "oh the poor president" statements. He's producing the news himself, day in, day out - he simply wants to be at the centre of attention all the time. And what is "negative attacks"? The media critizicing his outrageous statements and actions?

Are the "attacks" any different than during Obama's terms?

Yes that was my point, I was wondering when we'd hear the democrat media criticise Trump for this, being as you know, they're anti trump and supposedly liberal so don't like people being treated unfairly etc.. but I haven't seen a whisper yet of criticism, could that be because they are in bed with the deep state that carries out all this mass surveillance....

They are different cases in a way, I'd expect them to be at least supportive of Snowden, but in my brief look earlier online he was labelled a traitor in several of the liberal newspapers opinion pieces.

You don't know if Assange and Snowden have been treated "unfairly". There will always be people supporting or opposing what they did.

I can't remember seeing anything overly negative or positive being said about the two.

According to the law, Snowden disclosed secret data to the world. That is a factual crime. It is a different question whether it was morally OK.

I see I'm going to have to fish out that 'trump administration accomplishments' list again :p :D

If any of these are untrue then adam schiff should be informed as this list is published on the whitehouse.gov's very own website

And who knows, solving the kurdish and turkey border conflict could be added soon, more progress with NK, repatriation of isis combatants/prisoners back to where they came from etc... ;)

Have you joined the Mr T propaganda team? :D

Please run the list against a fact check site and see how many of those are pure lies or misleading.

I thought he revealed that the NSA was spying on everyone or similar, and was basically a whistleblower as the public didn't realise this?

I've watched a few of his talks and he comes across as a straight, moral person, who acted out of conscience. And for that he gets to spend the rest of his life in a small cell, no not for me, that is unfair treatment imo.

He revealed things that were secret according to the law. So he committed a crime.

Morally, I fully agree with you. The revelations opened people's eyes as to what is happening in the background of our lives. And I am sure it is not much different in Europe or anywhere else.

I don't trust those fact checker websites, they're all liberal leaning, and they've been invented because people have started to doubt what the press and media say, too much like propaganda. I know there are 'lies, damned lies and statistics' and it goes in both directions politically.

Blatantly lying to the public on the whitehouse website must be an impeachable offence? So schiffy needs to take a look and get out his fact checker, then add to the rest of his complaint. :p

I have to laugh harry, it would take me blinking years to work through that lot! Be good if I could just copy and paste it in, and the results came out in a minute or two, but artificial intelligence/programming doesn't seem to be capable of doing this yet.

Why is there such an interest in robots btw and could we ever get to a terminator scenario [not the time travel bit] but the gun toting androids?

Edit: right I better call it a night, if you have a view on the robots I look forward to reading it later, but if not, no worries

I guess Mr T, "Gym" Jordan, Leningrad Lindsey & Co just lost one of their favourite deflection tools AKA :... "but Hillary's emails" syndrome.

The DoS report has just been released and this is the final paragraph. Hence, the conspiracy "wet-dreamers" will have to take one point of their endless list.

By analogy, some might argue that Nazis are decent people - were they not entitled to their own beliefs and opinions, were they not strong men who got the job done, loyal to the cause and good fathers to their children?
Are we really doing the 'Nazi' thing? So by default anyone that doesn't go 'Reeeee' at the very sight of Trump is Nazi-like in their outlook?

It's this kind of baiting and logic that kills any form of respectable interaction on political boards. Gimme a fucking break

I guess you missed the point of the post.

Where in that post does it say or even imply that if you do not cheer for trump you are a nazi.

Unless its changed the number thrown around for years for visa over-stayers was 40%.

Set the graph for 5 years and hover over the climb you can see it took off right around November 11th 2016 right after the election.

Nope, this was about people being entitled to their opinions without being called $#!!. That was your line of reasoning and I merely followed this logic.

Clone Donald Trump!

I like your thinking, so instead of impeaching him, clone him? And then keep this thread going for another 4+8 years!

I'm hearing rumours via fox that mrs bill clinton may be about to enter the ring again?

Don't know what to make of that if true, she's got to be so toxic a candidate she'll glow in the dark. In one way it would make sense for the dems as none of the current candidates are really box office, but the stakes are very high, could she live it down losing to trump twice, must be a 50% chance of that occuring. It'll sound stupid and make her a sore loser to blame the russians again if she did.

Just make loads of the fecker so we can compare their skills.

"Leadership Skills - 11"

"Aww, mine says 9"

We can call it Trump's Top Trumps

You really think trumpclone2 would admit to trumpclone1 that his leadership skills were just at a 9? :P

"Oh, that is what mine is to, in fact, i think it might be slightly over 11"

yes, I heard the same rumors. Mrs. Clinton calling Tulsi Gabbard a Russian asset.

Having one of those wet dreams of yours or what? :P Clinton won't be running no matter how much Fox wishes she did. And even if she did run...other democratic candidates would crush her. But guess right-wingers need to dream about her since she's the only chance the republicans have. Plus maybe some ukrainian or chinese help since you're hero really wants to do those criminal things.

Old billary has a tendency to suffer from foot in mouth syndrome, I think she could get away with it pre internet or before social media took off but it's not so easy now. With all the charges laid against donald and the constant pounding of the same message to the public day in day out for 4 years, you'd think she'd be a shoe-in, the fact she isn't means many people must not trust the media as they did once before.

Her focus just isn't on the american people as far as I can tell, it's always foreign policy hence the obsession with russian assets.

The deep state and fake media 'story' or viewpoint is simmering nicely for trump to re-use next year, adam schiff appears machiavellian and secretive compared to his quarry who comes across more straightforward. If I was an american voter, I'd probably always plump for straightforward, anything other than that and you get stitched. The same applies in the uk. I don't think hillary passes that test either, the word 'schemer' comes to mind...

Adam Schiff isn't running either. Biden, Warren, Harris, Sanders, Buttigieg are.
54% support impeachment hearings already. I think it was around 50-50 for removal from office. If Trump gets re-elected, then it's another 4 years of investigations (since he won't stop his criminal behaviour) and circus and he still can't get anything done. You think american people want 4 more years of this crazy stuff? I hope not!

I think you missed my point re schiff, I know he's not running for president, he's trying to remove the current one though by using a secretive impeachment process and using leaks to the obliging msm. The american people will see this, and choose trump over schiff re impeachment unless something more damaging comes out than the quid pro quo/biden stuff, I don't think that's a clear enough smoking gun.

It's the same kind of impeachment process republicans used with Clinton. First closed door hearings...then public hearings. It's pretty simple! Republicans are just desperate and using all kinds of ridiculous tactics.
More damaging than the quid pro quo? :P So breaking the law isn't enough for the right-wing? Quite a criminal bunch that right-wing I guess.

why not stop now and go to a vote if it's all proven re criminal conduct by the president?

edit: I'm not sure it is the same as the clinton proceedings, by schiff doing the process in his intelligence committee it gets to stay secret until it moves to the next stage? The point of that being is 'selected' parts of testimony thought to be damaging to trump can be leaked to the msm without the context a public hearing/cross examination would provide. A separate committee normally does impeachment proceedings not the intelligence committee, that's what I took from laura ingraham's show the other day.
