Really? Strategy doesn't matter in a war? Are you that amateurish or just trying to convince yourself that you are always right?
According to Israeli documents from that time the three reasons for supporting Iran were: selling arms and weapons, getting their feet back into Iran after the Shah was ousted (Iran was seen as the lesser evil compared to Iraq), prevent Iraq conquering all or a part of Iran (Iraq was working on a nuclear bomb at the time, hence a bigger thread to Israel). Nothing even slightly mentions "goodwill" which seems to be your imagination.
At the time, Israel found itself surrounded by hostile countries which led to its strategy to find allies around those countries. Iran was one of the countries just like Turkey or Egypt. Again, nothing to do with "goodwill" but all to do with strategy.
Their air force support was mainly on the ground and a few sorties (after they received the info from the Iranians) bombing Sadam's nuclear reactor. Historians argue whether that changed the outcome but there is no conclusive statement that indeed Israel was "of great importance to Iran". So much for your statement:
"Every history website, book and wikipedia all mention that Israel was of great importance for Iran, if not the most important." - really every, every site?
Excerpt from an online encyclopedia: "In the air, the advantage was on Iraq's side, and the latter used its superiority in aircraft and missiles to strike at Iran's oil installations, industrial plants, shipping, and cities." - so where was that mighty Israeli air force showing their "good will"?
Well, of course they are fun facts because you can never be sure of the US. One day they support a country, the next they might bomb it at their own will. Fact is, officially the US supported Iraq in the war and blocking continuously UN resolutions against Iraq is not really "minor". After all it was the UN who mediated the cease fire.
Just to keep the fun facts flowing, nobody was actually interested to have a winner in the Iran-Iraq war as they assumed that the winner would become the ruling country in the ME and nobody wanted either of them to be that. But all were very happy to supply weapons to keep it going for nearly a decade.
The only hilarious stuff I can see here are your statements which totally lack profound knowledge of the immensely complex middle east history.
