New Slot! Wild Rockets from NetEnt!

.

Thanks for your replies guys :D

Yeah, I also think Wild Rockets looks really cool. Love the stacked wilds! This game is out in October.

There is a game called Elements as well, but that one is not out before the end of this year. Evolution is live later this month.

I must honestly say that I am a bit unsure about Evolution based on the video, but can hardly wait to try Wild Rockets :yahoo:

Here is the preview video of Evolution for those who missed it in my Beach thread:

Evolution looks MUCH MORE bad that wild rockets, imo. TT, better rockets that month, evolution october ;)

I ahve to say, I am not that blown away by this game from what I can see on this video. Maybe I need to try it for myself before I pass judgement though.

Fishing for nine hours... that sounds like work!!!

Hehe...yeah. It is often a bit expensive to buy a fishing license for salmon in certain rivers in Norway. 9 hours may sound a bit long but the license was valid for 24hours, so it could have been worse :p

Interesting! I noticed 243 ways, multi way, all way is very popular in microgaming so I can tell other casino can follow their direction too. But remember adhere to the copyright law because aristocrat technologic leisure was the first one invented it. Although IGT followed that next then microgaming followed after. Probably a permission was made and was allowed to. Amuze was not legal to copy Aristocrat Indian Dreaming as it is breaching copyright properties. I don't know if Aristocrat is ever gonna sue Amuze. Will have to wait see.

Notice how the wilds landed at the top or bottom of each reel to create the stack? I figure you need to hit them there, for them to expand. Or, if they hit in the middle they only go one way.

Or, I could be really tired and just making shit up in my head

EDIT: Looked at the rest of the vid, feel stupid.

I asked the Maxino guys about a release date for this game. It is October 23 if I remember correctly, so still some weeks. Evolution is live September 25 (probably available in Beta the week before, around Sept 18.)

I have a question related to NetEnt Touch (NetEnt's mobile casino). I was just wondering if any of you guys have tried it/are using it? It is quite seldom I see players mentioning mobile gaming on this forum, so would be interesting to know.

Never tried it myself as my mobile phone is rather old and useless :D

Oki...So I played Evolution for about one hour in fun mode yesterday.

I must be so honest to say that I personally think the game sucks. Absolutely terrible and I am very disappointed.

It felt like yet another very low variance game which is quite annoying because it seems like NetEnt these days are trying to kill every new game by creating them with as low variance as possible.

The Evolution theme itself has potential and I like the short videos. The game characters are some very nasty creatures that I do not find very appealing.

I have to disagree. I like that they have out so much more recently than 3 scatters equals 15 free spins X 3. The sticky feature of JackHammer 2, the random wilds of Zombies, the multi bonuses of ScarFace. I like mirco, but they default so often to simple free spins X 3 patterns. For me, props to NetEnt for mixing it up

Yepp, I can agree with that NetEnt games usually have unique, great and innovative features. The thing that is bothering me is the very low variance on some of these newer games. It may be because I personally prefer higher variance. But time consuming bonus rounds that pays x5 your bet, 5 of a kind that pays 20x your bet etc is not the way to go in my humble opinion :D

Take for example Gonzo's Quest. Pretty high variance. Old game. Still one of their most popular games.

Do you play Robin Hood? High variance, same thing; granted, they don't cascade, rather nudge; but seems VERY high
I play Robin Hood sometimes - but it does have one design "flaw" which I thinks puts many players off; You have to collect the money bags before you can get the free-spins - which means in essence that you have virtually ZERO chance of getting the feature inside the first 150 - 200 spins, which also means the RTP for those spins must be MUCH lower than the long-term RTP of the game. :(

For this reason I only play it currently at 2 NetEnt casinos - because I don't want to start from scratch at any other casinos. This is a shame because I do like it - and it can pay well sometimes (it can also pay shit - like most slots!)

MicroGaming's "Untamed" slots have the same problem to some degree - when you first play you have no "Expanding Wild Icons". Actually, the MG games are worse because you permanently lose all your icons if you change bet size (which seems GROSSLY unfair to me), whereas at least on Robin Hood you CAN change your bets without losing your money bags.

It's a shame the designers didn't find some way round this issue - like giving you 1 or 2 "free" icons on each reel the first time you play it...

At least with the untamed series, there's the free spin feature to keep you going between rounds, whereas Robin you're just waiting (forever) to collect the bags. And while untamed, means you can't change your bet, to a degree same with robin; if I get low on funds, I don't want to lower my bet because it'll impact the bags I've saved by lowering it's payout, so I have to leave the game and come back with more funds

I agree with KK. Robin Hood is a well made game with a greater win potential. I personally would probably have preferred a game version without needing to collect things to earn free spins, but they have created that feature better than what Microgaming did with those Untamed games (although I have a feeling that many players will choose to play Jack Beanstalk instead of Robin Hood)

But anyway. Really looking forward to the Wild Rockets game. That one looks much better than Evolution.

And sorry to NetEnt for being a bit harsh with Evolution hehe. Those who have followed this forum for more than a week will know that I am their greatest admirer (or stalker :D), but this does not mean that I think everything created by NetEnt is superb (most of it is superb though :D).
