Hi all
Played the new btg slot , sanctuary on mrQ today.
I won 174.92 and they only paid out 140.48.

I have a recording of the bonus.

I've spoken to chat at mrQ and getting no where with them.

Just remember, everything you see on the screen is just eye candy. The result was already determined.

Likely a visual bug, you'll be hard-pressed to get any kind of acknowledgment from the casino as live chat operators these days are utterly incompetent. BTG in the other hand.. Have basically completely dropped off this platform. So either way I'd just leave the issue be.

And yes this wouldn't be the first time BTG games have weird display errors on release.

After watching it back it was a visual bug so I'm not hunting for anything back or any compensation of sorts. It happens.

Just be aware of it I suppose

I'm assuming it's a visual bug anyway. No way I'm watching the video back and trying to work out whether the maths are correct 😂

Very strange.
Says in the bottom right that the win from the final spin was £40ish, with the 118 you had that wouldnt add up to 174 or the 140 you have in your spin history.

BTG works in mysterious ways.
Yes, the final win is clearly at odds with what is actually displayed. If the game is doing this it needs pulling.

P.S. Have Skyped Nik with this thread.

If the video wasn't letterbox size I could focus in and forensically work out every single spin and manually add it all up from the paytables and see where the error occurs and the real amount of the error. I haven't got access to the Hubble telescope right now.

Not just the final win, most every spin has something wonky going on with the total win number not adding up.
This is one of the earlier spins, win says 20.48 on the big numbers and down in the bottom right, total win jumps to 38.10.
Im no matheologist, but im pretty sure that 0.32+20.48 is not 38.10.

It was hard to see in the video so i made a small gif of it to make it easier to see.
No need to thank me.

Impossible, that it can be wrong. You’re all seeing things. The game did 400 billion spins during testing and it was spot on and passed fit for purpose. These games are rigorously tested and monitored……Allegedly.

This is one of the reasons I fell out with BTG's output, their games have had more than their fair share of glitches on release, The Final Countdown with its fake scatter on The Bandit's video being the most egregious example, but there were others.

Obviously from a testing/compliance perspective, the official line will be 'it's all good mate' (which is technically true), ultimately the player could be looking at montages of Maggie Thatcher stuffing pickled cabbages up her dusty minge for all the connection the frontend has to the backend with some modern games, but it's still the sort of blunder that shouldn't pass internal testing and QA, and does little to boost player confidence.

/goes back to playing gentle Blueprint games at VS.

Seems to be a common theme (with BTG and the wider industry) - all the testing effort goes into the game engine (which is heavily regulated) and the front end exposes all the bugs because it hasn't had the same level of testing and gets out of sync with the game round.

As Dunover mentions they need to pull the game and get it fixed - similar to what happened with Final Countdown. Will be interested to hear what caused it.

Reminds me of a recent YT video where one of the Shite and Blunder FOBT games offers a 50% pie gamble for jackpot, but a 20% gamble for the free spins bonus... good luck working that one out 🤣
