I'm anticipating @KasinoKing whinging lol.
Nah - I'm too old for all that complaining malarkey: no-one listens anyway - so what's the point? :(

I've already said the main thing I would like to see back, is more member info underneath their avatar:
i.e. Join date & post count as a minimum, with likes given & received as a "nice to have" (but no so important).

I would like a name and shame section covering newest rogue casinos, and rogue T&C's, new gambling regulations that is not applicable in real life situations.Though some of the above might be "old hat" news, an update is still good!.

Is that actually going to happen? is that the beta test image?

I really hope not. That is all I need to deal with lol. Getting a hell of a lot of angry dislikes on all my posts lol. It will certainly put a lot of members of, if you do keep all those extra buttons though. :p

I dislike a dislike button. Besides me no like the default images. I would like to do away with the "Like" button and switch this over to the old-timey "Thanks" button. The "Likes" have a way to be misconstrued as a bully tactic. You "like" something, as opposed to a "Thanks" button, that we used to have, to indicate posts you feel are helpful. We had this way back in the day, and I could turn this off for people who abused it.

And in the "political rants" forum, it was turned off for everyone because that area was pretty ripe for thuglike behavior.

I am planning to resurrect the old social groups/meister clubs and may have the angry faces for that. We'll see.

The thing is, this is a forum community, not Facebook where you can control who can see your posts or respond. But saying that, I hope to integrate some of these concepts into our home here. :)

Probably been discussed before but could the meister minions get a chat room? Also please bring back join date/number of posts and location besides the posts - wrongly or rightly it adds weight to them.

I do remember there not being a 'Thanks' function for political threads, which made sense in hindsight.

I quite liked the holy trinity of Thanks, Likes & Helpful, whose absence I rued ever since you cruelly yanked them :D

Bring them back and we'll say no more about it

The "Thanks" was a vBulletin fuction. "Likes" are part of the Xenforo package. But I hope to get the old ways going again. There have been a number of things we have not installed on the forum since its software support is no more. This version is end-of-life.

I would like that too.

I personally would also like to see the "WTG" button brought back for the various winners screenshots/winner videos threads,
but with a "WTF" button for the screen shots/videos that suck threads.

Yeah, I had forgotten about the WTG button. Thanks for the reminder.

And just a note, I have been messing with the backend on a test server for a few weeks. I think the newly upgraded software will be awesome for everyone.

Yeah - we will be working on the search. There is a way to bridge the rest of the website with the forum. At the moment, the main website which includes all reviews does this - but not here in the forum. I find myself using Google instead. Type in "casino name" and casinomeister. Which is pretty lame IMO.
Yeah, i tend to do the same -- just feels a bit weird every time you google for a CM review while you have the forum open in another tab :D

Hi All,

Just to keep you in the loop of what is going on here at Casinomeister, we are in the process of upgrading the software of the forum which will enable us to keep up with the rest of the Internet. I have been working with the backend for the past couple of weeks and it is amazing.

My question for you, is there any sort of function "wish list" you'd like to have in this forum (bookmarking threads, starting your own private clubs, searching PMs/conversations, etc.). Please let me know if there are any reasonable bells and whistles you'd like to see.:D

Yes i wish

Can we have casino reviews included in the forum search?
So for example, if i search for Kaboo in the forum searchbox, can the Kaboo review be listed as the top result there?
Would make checking whether a casino has a review on here/is rogued etc easier :)
About this Casino Reviews search, currently you could find them clicking Right side Link 'Search Casinomeister.com'

I miss the blogs, my blog, but also other people's blog. No requirement to read or follow, but just a place to express, well, us. I know there are other places in the forum I can do the same, but it's not grouped as just from me.

Or whatever contributing member's interest or rant or philospy is.

We are more than gamblers. Some may choose to participate, but all also have the option to not.
