Well, this was pretty brutal.....

cor dear that game was hungry! I do hate that when you plan to play a range of games, or try some new ones, but then you get stuck on something, and are sat there in disbelief as it munches your entire balance in double quick time. It was as though it couldn't trust giving you anything back as it knew you'd be off in a shot.

It stretches the idea of random for me when slots play like this, it is like you have stumbled into a fixed phase of play where the hit rate drops to something like 1/25 spins and only smallish wins at that, I wonder what your rtp was once you dipped below £200? I experienced it a while back playing eye of horus [normal not megaways], no base game and no bonus, it was absolutely brutal but I couldn't leave it, if I get a decent win sometime I will go back to it though - mad I know but it owes me at least one bonus!

Yes I know what you mean mack, when a slot turns that feral even the most ardent of anti-tinfoilers such as myself can't help but start twitching a bit :D

That said I have been on the other side of that curve several times in the past, you know one of those sessions where every slot is a winner, and we don't then start thinking the slots must be broken or locked into 'payout mode'!

Indeed most recently at Unibet I turned a £60 deposit into over £1350 on my usual modest spins, culminating with that incredible good fortune on the Crazy Time wheel game when I had a £1 chip covering the feature and it paid 640x stake.

So overall I just accept that once in a while a nasty kicking is going to be sent my way, it's not nice when it happens of course, but I have a bit of sweary rant about it, and live to fight another day :)

yeah that is true, I've enjoyed a few streaky sessions and not found the time afterwards to complain about random this or that  ...it's probably my misunderstanding of random and how that interplays with the volatility/odds.

I don't think I've seen a big win screenshot from eye of horus posted yet the base game is practically non-existent, beggars belief where the money goes, even that frutz looks like it may have a more frequent win rate!

A machine I made an awful lot of money from back in the day, yet another compensated AWP where there those in the know could clean up and leave depressingly battered machines behind for everyone else.

Excellent, there is something to watch later.....

Unsure if I ever did mention it but did mean to ask whether you ever got to take advantage of these beauties :p

We made a FORTUNE from them and left many even owing us a small payout following an empty hopper, Barcrest must have known but that being said they went on to release "Jackpoteers" which although a tough more stubborn to get started was equally 'bashable'

Yes Jono all covered in the video :) I did indeed make some serious bank out of these, only had Lotta Lucks around here, but it was cloned into The Jackpoteers and later Fort Boyard. Jackpoteers and Fort Boyard got £25 upgrades.

They got rechipped a few times but Barcrest never quite managed to fix it, also covered in the video :)

It's a long video I'm afraid but I had a lot to waffle on about for this one :D

What would happen if you did the method twice on Lotta Luck, back to back?

And the video I did on Wild Flower.

Not watched the video yet but you'd get your arse handed to you.

An impatient (thankfully part time) member of our ye olde bandit bashing group who would not listen and decided to 'go solo' found out the hard way more than once. Yes you'd get there eventually but it would be a lot more costly than the first time around or applying the method after a run of normal / natural play.

Best was to empty all bar about £15-£20 on a Monday or earlier part of the week (after the weekend fill from novices, drunks and addicts :p) and not re-visit the same machine till at least a fortnight later.

Being 'regimented' in this way helped us to get the maximum time and value from the machines we rinsed over the years :D

You might be surprised by the result! :)

I do talk about 'machine timing' in the video though, how getting the timing right for how often to hit a machine was critical to obtaining profitable results.

Just keeping this thread up to date. Watch on YouTube for the timecodes, for the very impatient there's quite a nice feature on Punk Rocker at the end :)

Good video and nice win at the end  I think your right on the 99 game though that the extra few % of the rtp is baked into the scatter feature. Reminds me a little bit of an old RTG game I used to play where you triggered the free spins after 150 spins - Aztec something or other if I recall.

So its a bit of a gimmick I think billing this as a 99% RTP slot - as the base game probably pays /plays the same as BOD ( unless your playing at @Team.Videoslots where you will get shafted by the LOW rtp ;)

I think its a decent concept and it certainly outs those casinos such as videoslots with the gimped RTPs who are terrified of giving any kind of value for money. Good one though Chopley - and if I was currently gambling I would probably give this a few 1000 spins )

The volatility seems highe to get a good bonus, so why would they take it away. What sites have it as of now?
Two sites i know that have it are Mrgreen and Vera&John.
Out of the two i would recommend Vera&John, becuase they run full rtp on all their slots and they also recently removed the jackpots from their red tiger slots, so its like the only site where you can play Red tiger with full rtp without the jackpots. (atleast the only one i know of)

Mrgreen has full rtp on most of their slots, but red tiger for example is set to about 1% lower than standard for most releases (atleast for Swedish market)

Right, finally got around to watching this tonight, most enjoyable and brought back some amazing memories.

As always cannot resist sharing my experiences as with more recently Barcrest's Up n' Over

When you get some spare time @ChopleyIOM , try the following, this is how we played it

1) Ignore all wins as with your existing method, get machine warmed up and '?' rarely killing off.
2) Refuse 4 invincible boards (can take £2, even £3 wins instead of £1's)
3) Take the cash streak whether invincible or not
4) Return to refusing all wins to see if it will go invincible again within no more than £10 - £15
5) Refuse 2 more invincible boards if possible, if it is 'playing up' refuse at least one
6) Take cash streak again whether red board or normal
7) Bash for as much after play as possible, take maybe one JP and even £10'ers after that

Let me know please if your new results differ vastly from the video :)

Jon

You said it was a pissy lager.
9% is rocketfuel beer as far as im concerned.
:p

That's Skol Super which is an entirely different beast to regular Skol.

All UK teenagers go through a rite of passage with something like Skol Super or Tennent's Super, manage to drink a can or two of it, are violently ill, and never touch it ever again. It is peculiarly disgusting stuff.
