My online slots videos (plus UK AWPs)

Friday night slots.

Some casinos freeze sounds/graphics when the Bandicam is in action as you saw, going in and out of it - simply right-click once on your mouse somewhere within the Bandicam frame on the game screen to prevent this.

Yes I worked it out fairly early on hence no problems after the first few minutes of the video. Bit of a nuisance though!

Allegedly IR has been remade again but it's still a bit shonky compared to the old Viper Client version.

I was catching up on your online slot vids last night, when you played neon pyramid, which I had never heard of, so typed it into ladbrokes' search box and there it was, checked the rtp - 95.8 or thereabouts, gave it a tentative go and the first bonus paid about a fiver, raised my stake to 60p and hit another bonus, which nearly opened the pyramid to the top, and went for £200 smakeroos, so  Chop, wouldn't have played it otherwise.

Similar to your problem at unibet, it is so hard to browse the game pages nowadays on most sites and be intrigued by a new title, very cumbersome and unorganised I find. Ladbrokes had it right with their old games section, smaller game pics so you could see more on one screen, a couple of scrolls up and down and you could see the full offering.

If I can return a game tip, be very wary of cleopatra:queen of the desert, brutal codswallop that makes playtech slots look advanced.

On that vid you also gave immortal romance a bash, I doubt this new version is identical to the old one, the variance seemed different when I gave it a little bash last night. I don't know why a html reissue can't be the same as flash, it's simply moving graphics after all.

Same on Betsson group sites.
Most sites will have some way for you to search or sort by provider, either by checking a box, or maybe typing in "netent" will show you all slots form that provider etc.

Cant understand how big sites like Unibet, betsson etc does not have a way to do this.
Seems like such a simple thing to implement, and im sure a shitload of people wants the function.

Neon Pyramid is a great slot IMO, glad you won on it :) TBH it was kind of lucky I chanced upon it at all, the thumbnail stuck out to me when the slot was released and I like 'neon themed' games, that sort of 80s style hyper-lurid vibe, so I gave it a go and found it was a really good game. It helps that it's got great music too, the feature music in particular.

I remember back when Microgaming were the big deal and they had the Viper client, every time a new slot was released to the client it was quite exciting to see what they'd done, these days there are so many slots being released the vast majority of them I don't even look at.

I haven't noticed any differences in how IR plays in its new HTML5 version, but it's painfully apparent they've tried to reduce the amount of data it uses, the jerky animations are missing so many frames they're practically like slideshows.

ah maybe that's it, it felt all very cramped to me and like you say jerky, the other aspect is I wasn't confident of ladbrokes rtp accuracy. Game of thrones 243 is 95% rtp, yet IR the full fat version, thunderstruck 2 I couldn't even find the rtp!

It's a small sample [coral, lads, and will hill] but these sites all seem keen to have an extra help page (of their own formulation) for each game outside of the game, instead of locating the rtp info from the ingame paytable info, it needs sorting out.

I've always thought the uk bookie style sites don't know much about slots and just have them as a side serving, but the way they've handled chopping the rtp leads me to believe they are a bit more cunning and have thought about the potential reaction to it, losing trade to sites that haven't.

That win was just over 300x on my first ever play and yet no limit slots haven't given me anything close after several attempts, so the variance of neon suits me better, more chance of a good medium win, and not impossible to land a bonus.

I only started slotting in about 2015, didn't play a microgaming slot until around 2017 as the sites I played just didn't have any, so I never saw how the viper client thing worked, is disappointing when things are changed/removed which were better before, no doubt the drive for efficiency and to make more money, while forgetting about the end user experience.

Three new online slots played and reviewed. From Play 'N Go there's:

Cat Wilde In The Eclipse Of The Son God
The House Of Doom 2 The Crypt

and from NetEnt there's:

Rome: The Golden Age (apparently this can hit for over 100,000x stake)

If you watch the video on YouTube there are timecodes for everything.

Latest video on the channel is for a brilliant old £6 jackpot UK AWP called Bonanza (NO NOT THAT ONE) by a company called JPM.

Also there was this one too for POP.

Incidentally, one thing I would draw attention to is some of the RTP calculations in that video, in particular the MASSIVE difference in expected playtime between playing Gonzo's Quest Megaways at Unibet, and the same game at Videoslots on the utter pisstake RTP of 92.71% (!).

Direct timestamped link -

Continuation of the 98% slots session, includes a couple of things I didn't manage to catch on camera as part of the original session, and some all out wheel gambling on Gonzo.

Had a session on the 98% slots at Unibet.com last night.

Not 300%, your expected spins went down by 75% from approx 5400 to 1300. :)

The simple way to approximate it is to take 25% off for each 2% RTP reduction, from a starting point of 96%

So say 3000 spins @ 96%, then 2250 @ 94%, 1500 @ 92% etc.

But your video into really exemplifies what a fucking enormous shafting players are getting from this variable RTP bollocks.

But yes, the sheet is useful, I had one myself years ago but deleted it. Couldn't fire me one over by PM?

Yes that'll teach me to do sums on the fly.... I think I was coming at it more from 5400 being 300% of 1350 (which is still wrong anyway), but of course that's not what I actually said :D

As you say though, the point remains that reduced RTPs are massively detrimental to players and IMO a few perks like battles and races won't even come close to plugging the gap over time.

Besides which, as a clued up player I could still play at VS and make sure I avoid the gimped slots and maximise whatever perks I can etc - but TBH I'd just feel icky playing at a casino that I know is happy to run slots at under 93% RTP or that fucking scratchcard thing at 50%. It's like 'Well they're not kicking me personally in the bollocks at this moment in time, so I'm happy for them to carry on kicking everyone else in the bollocks'.

Very much one for the old school UK AWP players :)

It was obviously the non-alcoholic purchases that made you think you were playing £6 jackpots pre-1993. :D

I've posted this in the Crazy Time thread as well but I'll update this thread with it too.

Big win is at 5m58s but there's a lot more gameplay and many features in there.

Congrats on the nice hit.
Must be one in a million to get all those things to line up. :p

What are the min bets on crazy time?

Minimum coin size for me was 10p, but as I explain in the video you probably want to be covering all results to get the best RTP, which means an effective minimum bet of 80p per spin.

You absolutely can just cover a single thing for 10p per spin but you're hurting your RTP. (Again, all covered in the video, if you watch on YouTube everything is timecoded.)

Will watch later, just skipped to the big hit when giving it a look now.
Skipped to the big hit just now because i got curious. =)
