Did you know that Unibet has a sister site - Maria Casino? Powered by Ash Gaming, NetEnt, and OpenBet - and they've been online for awhile. Since they are related to Unibet, a 30 fast track through the Baptism by Fire should suffice.
They are here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/accredited-casinos/

Please post your comments in this thread - Unibet is your man with the plan. You can contact him here:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/

Besides their casino games, they offer Bingo, Live Games, and Poker as well.

Unibet is reviewed at Casinomeister. It is an CM Accredited, vetted, and highly recommend casino listed at our site.
.

Good to see another casino with games from NetEnt in your accredited section (I assume Maria will be accredited). Can never get too many of those :D

Maria is probably best known as a bingo site. Think Unibet also had another brand called Carlos Bingo or something.

I also think they have a few games from other suppliers like Cryptologic and Microgaming.

Maria is a fair casino alternative, but you can probably not expect the best casino promotions there.

.

I have a question!

I see that Maria is promoting a 100% up to €100 on your Swedish and Norwegian site, but the T&C for this offer on both of these sites says it can only be claimed by UK residents. Can the rep clarify this?

I tried out Maria last year, so I am only asking out of curiosity.

When I read the bonusrules in my language it is offered to people from Sweden, Norway, Holland, Finland and UK. Can it be a typo in Norwegian maybe?;)

I had an account at Maria, but they gave me too much bonus once and didn't ask for it back until I lost it all. I was new at gambling by then and thought they were just trying to cheat on me.
So I just closed my account and never went back:oops:

Yes, I now see they also have that information on the page. Looks like you are redirected to different set of T&C depending on which link you are using on their site.

This is from the Swedish sign up page where it says UK only. Although the rules are written in English (except headline) so they have probably only messed up a bit. They should fix it :D

Honestly Rainmaker, that is not the page I get when I look at the rules. Mine is in Swedish all over:confused:

Hehe...Yeah I know. We have probably just followed different links on the site. As I said, It looks like visitors are redirected to different set of T&C depending on which link they are using on the site. I think I followed a Swedish banner link :D

One of the worsts casinos!

I deposited there and well played, according to their banner it says you get 100% welcome bonus so i havent got it.

I contacted their support and after 3 DAYS!! got a reply saying "what you want , i dont get you.." Then after explaining again and waiting another 3-4 days i got a reply that there is no welcome bonus...

So i got mad and sent the url of the banner on which they stated the 100% welcome bonus and their support guy became angry saying " it's last time you send this kind of emails " :D

Their support is almost non existent, very umprofessional and their TEC is also dodgy.

3 days for a reply is terrible. But as discussed on this forum in the past. Customer support has never been Unibet's strong side in my opinion. They are slow and live chat is usually offline.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for bringing these issues on the Maria-site to our attention first of all.

As some of you might be aware of we recently did revamp the Maria website and there’s been a few kinks to hammer out following this makeover.

Being a site that supports several languages and having new content added to the site for the different markets on a daily basis (or almost daily) has unfortunately had a few slip ups in terms of a mix of languages on the site which we try to rectify as soon as they are being spotted – so if you see any other cases like these please feel free to let us know so that we can correct it asap.

The 100% first deposit bonus on Maria is available for most markets but the offer can vary slightly depending on the market. What all customers have to do though is to opt in themselves for any bonuses available via the my account section on the website in order to receive them automatically on their deposit.

Regarding Markus_Demon’s case, he did send us a pm here on cm and his issue was what I assumed resolved after that but if there still is some grievances from your side Markus_demon please feel free to drop me a pm.

Br,
Sue (Dave and I share this account so that we can cover when one is absent etc :) )

It is NOT clearly stated that the 20 Free Spins upon the registration are for the UK residents ONLY.
I prefer when the bonus is clearly displayed...now I dont know if I want to try for my welcome bonus....

:eek2:so no free spins and 5 dollars down the drain... OK I am officially closing my account...
Which casino has good EVERYTHING plus netent?

Hi all,

Although I can fully understand that paying a fee is never nice, its not hidden that a fee is being charged on withdrawals. If you open an account and go to the withdrawals or deposit options, it is clear how much we charge for deposits or withdrawals. For deposits, we do not charge anything.
Once you do have money on your account, the fees will only show for the withdrawal option that is available to you.

With regards to promotions not being clear, we are still looking into this but one problem here is that if you are in a different country, the promotion for that particular country is the default one popping up. Again, by no means do we deliberately try to make those promotions unclear.

So if for example, you are living in the UK, you will by default get the UK promotion. If at that instance however, you register as a Finnish customer for example, the bonus conditions for being a Finnish customer living in Finland (if you choose that as your country) will apply. This is not unique to Maria and I have actually come across this similar behaviour on practically all other sites I signed up with.

If anyone still has a problem with any promotion at all, please do not hesitate to contact us, either through normal support or via PM here at casinomeister. If mistakes have been made, we will always rectify them.

All the best and lots of luck,

Dave

Hi Dave.

A few questions if I may - Do your casinos payout 24 hours per day?, if so I can fully understand the extra charge as the extra wages this would induce has to be covered somehow. Secondly, are the different rules per different countries based on fraudulent/scamming activities from the respective countries, if so, isn`t this a bit unfair towards all those that are not some form of an asshole?, for instance - Not all English are scammers, all scammers are English, I know and fully appreciate that you guys are fighting an never ending battle with these scum, but tarring everyone of a specific nationality with the same brush is a somewhat primitive approach for resolving an ongoing problem, my apologies if this isn`t the case at your casino`s ;).

Thx in advance,

Roy.

Hi Roy,

the only honest reply I can give on this are that those are marketing decisions. Those kind of decisions are being revised from time to time and the above has been discussed before, but for the time being won`t be changed.

Best regards

Dave

Ive had an account at Maria for a while now & its been ok.
They have lots of nice games (slots).
No luck there so far though with the winnings...

Although the 24hr WD question was glossed over

Even if we did have a 24/7, which we almost have, I still don`t know any banks who process payments 24/7. So withdrawals will always take a certain amount of time and in a lot of cases, this is due to the payment providers and not the operators.
I have said this many many times in the past (although not on this forum), it is not in any operators interest to deliberately stall a withdrawal. The faster a withdrawal can be processed, the better for everyone involved and we are fully aware of that and are always striving to achieve that.
So again, no, we do not process withdrawals 24/7 but we are pretty close to that.

But when I press for Live chat I get the message below even though it says CM-FridaB is availble on the first page?

We're offline. Please leave a message.
Our live chat is unfortunately not available at the moment. Please leave a message with your query and we will get back to as soon as possible.

Hi,

Let me explain exactly what has happened with the live chat issue.
The timings published onsite are the times when customer care is available overall. Outside of those hours, we do have 24/7 customer care but after 10.00 PM, this is mainly English support.
So if you do click on live chat, it is indeed possible that even during the times we do have customer support available, live chat is not. Since we are having a free phone for UK customers, amongst others, we first and foremost need to make sure that our free phone lines are fully covered.
Having said that, we are also constantly increasing our live chat availability.

As with the message you noticed that CM-Frida is available, this was actually referring to the bingo chat and not the live chat. We do apologise for this confusion and are also working on getting those messages more clear.

So should you need instant support and live chat is not available, don`t hesitate to call our free phone number or contact us via mail.

Best regards,

Dave

I have one too, and am well down, not done a wd yet though. Didn't get a birthday bonus on the 20th. , nothing for xmas yet either.....wait and see. The TSII they have plays terribly slowly, the IGT and their own games are OK though. Not particularly impressed, and no bonus offers except the sign-up one. Average site.

Still waiting payment

I opened an ACC with Maria casino on the 8th of january.Deposited 25 euros got bouns and lost, deposited 50 euros and was up to 163 euros and then my ACC was locked.

Contacted support and to cut a long story short I had self excluded in unibet casino last year and that is why my ACC was locked.

Did not even know that the 2 casinos where linked,Contacted support again and Phoned the contact number and was told that if I self exclude in one of there casinos all other ACCs withen the group will be locked.
I have looked and looked through there T&Cs and can not find this anywere.

Anyway after asking for my money back and sending in my docs got this email on the 16th

Maybe the unibet rep can answer some of the above questions(I would love to here them):eek2::eek2:

2.5.8 Holding an active account with another legal entity which is part of the same group as Maria, meaning other entities being, directly or indirectly, controlled by Unibet Group Plc.

Looks like you can't have an account at both in any case.

Card refunds can take up to 10 days fwiw.
