I would be amazed if Novomatic reply to a customer query. They are set up as a B2B supplier, and firstly are unlikely to have a department set up for that, secondly & cannot possibly verify the customer is the player for that game round without speaking to 888. There could then be potential GDPR issues if NM spoke directly to the customer.

888 are the ones who have to sort this. As 888 are shit that will involve spending quite a bit of time on it and requesting a SAR and going from there.

Yeah you're right, perhaps they could've acknowledged his email/communication but said 'sorry we don't deal directly with players' etc..

If he asked a basic question, did the bonus, at such and such time, [+ transaction number] on lord of the ocean pay zero? I don't see that it should be a massive gdpr issue in reality, they could just give a yes/no answer and not provide him with the figure if in fact money/wins were awarded by the game. He could then go back to 888 and dispute their finding, if Novo from looking at the time know he did win something and keep shtum, aren't they also in a way cheating the player or going along with a casino attempting to?
