Just a quick update. I was able to finally see an Oncologist on Friday. One of the best in the field of Thorax Cancer. He is friends with my surgeon and was doing it as a favour for him. The cells are very tiny, 2 mm. He said they are to tiny to see visually if he was to open me up surgically. Not sure at this time if it is breast cancer mets, or secondary lung cancer. I'm being sent for more testing that includes bone and brain scan. Appointment with a pulmonary specialist and pulmonary function test. If my scans come back negative, he is going to do another CT scan on my lungs in January. Once they are of a good size he can surgically remove them. If there is positive results from the scans, then its chemo. Stage 4 breast cancer has no cure. All they can do is treat to prolong. The hardest part was telling my kids. My daughter takes things in stride, but my son not so much. I will be starting on the patch tomorrow morning to quit smoking. Thank heavens for the new business to keep me busy!

Even worse than being ill is the waiting to find out exactly what is wrong. No matter how much you try and get on with things it is impossible to stop thinking about it. Well is for me anyway as been waiting a few weeks myself to get an appointment at hospital and no matter how much i try to convince myself all is okay i know how bad i feel and what the blood tests and other tests doctor took show. But is the not knowing whether it is actually something minor or something real serious that plays on my mind.

Hope you feel better soon and things are not as bad as you fear.

Im hoping its secondary cancer, my options are better. It's def cancer either way I slice it. I am beyond the worrying part now. I have discussed my options and wishes with my family. I hope your hospital visit ends up being positive! xoxo

Sending you lots of prayers that it is secondary cancer and that the malignant stuff can be removed soon. I am on the patch too since 7 days and it's much easier than expected. Thank you! I just wan't to get rid of this crazy dizziness. I have resorted to using a cane now for the last month. I hope quitting smoking will help. Im so scared that the dizziness means that its gone to my brain. That is what happens to your mind with all this, but Im quite sure its just my breathing that is causing it, as it only happens when walking, or after a smoke. Good luck on the quit smoking! xoxo

And if you do need some advice, PM me about it. Been vaping for a few years now, a lot of decent kits for starters around nowadays to make the quitting relatively easy.

Of course if you can quit smoking completely reliably thats always the better option.

Today has been the only real day of rest I have had in over a week. The business has been very time consuming and we arent even open yet! So many people have to come through to make sure we are up to standard. The last owner was 24 years old and what a mess that was left. Huge test of my patience! I'm surprised I haven't lost it on anyone. I think my brain has just been on " pilot mode"

I know this is super easy for me to say but please please try to quit smoking. I won’t dig them out now but when my dad has lung cancer it was scary the rate at which it grows when smoking compared to those who managed to quit.
Dad ignored my pleas arguing that “it’s already got me so why take away one of my greatest pleasures”... (stage 4 and huge).

Cancer is a beast, a ferocious, all consuming beast. DONT feed the beast with ciggies... starve the bugger if you can x

Zyban worked brilliantly for be. After about two weeks I had no interest in smoking at all

Well I'm off to see the pulmonary specialist in 10 minutes. He should have my results for my lung and brain scan. He will also have my results for my heart too. The tech said either last Friday or today for the results.
