Life changing win at Winward Casino!

I used to feel a bit affronted by taking time to reply and help these types of numpties only to be let down and the temptation to feel a bit foolish afterwards. But I've learned that overall I'm prepared to feel I've wasted my time for 4 chancers, if every fifth one has been proven genuine.
That's the nature of our hobby - it brings the worst facets of people out; greed, deceit, blackmail, stupidity and addiction most of which were apparent in the OP. Just forget it and move on.

I never said we shouldn't help those who ask for it. Of course we should and I believe I've done my fair share of that for years now.
I'm not cynical yet. I just choose which battle to fight.
If I don't think I can help I don't even try. This was such a case.

Please keep on doing what you're doing dunover. I know you're a fool but you don't trust all fools just because of that ;)

Said I would not put any more in this thread but 1 last post!

Q. Isn't it nice when we give someone the benefit of the doubt and it turns out that they were truthful from the off?

Isn't it nice when that person get a 'result' and then they thank you for your help and input?

Yes few and far between perhaps but still happens from time to time.

....or maybe I am just TOO nice :p

I think that was a strange question and somehow this discussion started because I told you to not trust everything anyone say, and especially not a newbie.
I thought we all here helped those who needed it, no matter what it is about. Casino or player, or just as a friend.
We should not be blind though and that's what I meant.

No Jon, you're not too nice.

Just saved me a Christmas Card :p

Ps: I did not start this discussion ;)

Hope to see you at the MM

I'm with you on this one dunover

Although off-topic but a typical example from my life experience: the amount of times i borrowed money to friends, family and "thought-to-be" friends only to never receive anything back is staggering. Yet even today if somebody comes to me and is asking for help the first thing i ask is: "how much do you need?"

Will i change because some people never paid back what they owed me??? Definitely not!!!

Hence, anybody coming to this forum and posts a complaint/problem etc will get the benefit of doubt and i will always try to be helpful. If it turns out to be a fake/cheat/abuser etc then so be it.

My great grandfather told me when i was 7 years old and trying to hide that i had broken his 40 year old pipe: "lies have short feet" - meaning the truth will always catch up with you

All very wise comment,s and from the heart this is why we are the best!Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

Yup! - I've suffered this one a good few times too and still I will never learn, find It hard to say no and even harder to watch others struggle. Not that I am particularly well off or anything but will always help others if and when I can :)

Ps: You ain't got a a spare tenner knocking around have you Harry ?

Sure mate, send me a PM with your Neteller or Ecopayz details and i'll transfer it first thing in the morning when i switch my laptop on :D

Can't do it from my mobile, unfortunately. When I load my ewallets i get an OTP for the VbV authentication and i need to switch then screens to see the code. When i switch then back it times out the banking page, probably for security reasons. I'm in bed already, 3.30am here in BKK but could do it when i get up in the morning.

I agree with this. I've learned my lesson too. I hate that if I have to act like a credit management department because people do not pay back the date they promised to pay back. Now, I do not borrow anymore. I am not a bank. If they want to borrow some money, than they'd better go to the bank. If the bank does not want to borrow them, why should I borrow them than?

Not picking on you in particular - but you LEND other people money, or BORROW it from them.
Seems very strange to me that some cultures/people use the same word for these two things

Great to see my all time fave band Talk Talk in here, "Such A Shame" classic!

Re the original poster, I don't believe a word of it..."the charade goes on...."

My English is not so good, but indeed we have the same word for lend and borrow from. :)

Wow.. I havent read this thread for a couple of days... The OP blew 80k...

I feel bad for this person... Even if we all know this is a degenerate problematic behavior... It is kinda hard not to feel a little pain in the stomach...

We all reversed and lost a withdrawal a one point... I already lost 1k doing that... And I felt sick for a couple of days.... 2 weeks salary down the drain....

Doing this with 80k... 160k canadians for me.... I would probably do a very bad thing....

I really wish it hurts enough so the OP never gambles again.... What a sickening story...

Merry christmas I guess

I felt bad for the OP too. He has a sickness/addiction. However I believe the majority of the members here felt that "tough love" was better than a pat on the back or a "It's ok buddy, it happens to the best of us"! He needs to feel the impact/stupidity of what he did so that he never does it again.

I just finished reading this post from start to finish.
I followed it briefly in the last few days but now I have got the full picture.

Man, oh man, what an epic fail on the OP`s side!

Only life can write stories like this!

Thread title needs to be changed - This is no longer a 'life changing win' its a 'life changing lesson' !!!

I honestly don't know what happened to the OP and what the OP was thinking to reverse it all and lose the whole lot. OP should be thankful that it is just potential winnings that was lost and it wasn't as if the OP deposited 80K worth and lost it all (I hope).

I seriously don't think we have the whole picture here and going by what the OP has been saying the story just goes from a bad outcome to something even worst. I hope we are not been taken for a ride here because there are people on this forum that legitimately want to help others and its showing them no respect at all when the OP strings them along and then eventually reaches the point where there is nothing anyone can do.

It went from 'I don't mind accepting a few thousand dollars every month' to 'foolishly LOST the rest'. If all this is real OP (whoever you are) you seriously need to stay away from gambling as you have no self control at all.

Depositing $350 and winning $80k is not something that happens all too often and (once again if this story is all true) you just blew it - BIG TIME.

I would love to hear from the casino their side of the story but OP - learn your lesson - better to walk away with something than nothing (and in the process not waste anyones time).

I have just this-morning got back on to my contact at the affiliate team to try to verify if this story is true or not.
I have given them every bit of detail I know about the OP (from what he posted and what his profile says), but without a log-in name, real name or e-mail address I'm not sure they will be able to identify him. :(
I will report back in this thread if I get any confirmation either way...

You could start by telling it was a SHE, and that she had self excluded from their other sites.
Also that she got her deposit back but nothing more.

Yes, I told them it was either a HE living in North East (presuming that meant America), or a SHE living in Russia!
As this person had two COMPLETELY different profiles, yet were apparently the same person, it's hard to believe anything they said...

I would assume the original profile was correct or she wouldn't have bother set up a new one just to pressure the casino.
She can of course have moved too.

I wouldn't bother at all with this if I were you. She knew what she had done wrong and as much as I dislike TopGame and never will trust them I believe they did the right thing here.

Dont know how their VIP system works, but with bonus wagering of over 50k OP is maybe on a higher VIP Level right now and should get more than 1000 a week.

Dont know how active you were before on this site mountainman, maybe you are already on a higher VIP level. I hope you get paid in full in a timely manner. Please dont reverse a single Dollar. :)

I always thought that the online casinos gave you VIP status based on deposits, not on wagering?

Diane

Hey grnmountainman I sincerely do hope you get it all and more? But you have just entered into the Twilight Zone. You will experience a great deal of bull from these people and they have already started apparently with the very poor excuse for a payout. I hope it will all work out but as all of the rest have already said these guy,s are in it for them self,s only. They give a bad name too a group of great games. They are RTG are they not? I joined from a e-mail and took one look and it just look,s like other casino,s that owe me! Not any where near as much as you are owed but $10.000.00 and to me that is a lot. They took a year to process the request and now it is almost 6 months since they sent all the "Good New,s" HAH! Not even a (_*)&^*%&$^$#%@ so great to hear of your win and i will keep my finger,s crossed Brother! Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Winward's software is Top Game, NOT RTG.

Diane

Documents have been approved and account has been fully verified. That didn't take long as I just submitted documents about 4 hours ago. Just submitted my maximum withdraw which it stated to be 5000 per week.

We shall see. I am logged out and not going to play any of this win back! :D

Is withdrawal limit $5,000 per week or $500. In the quote above you said $5,000 so I am puzzled.

Diane

Humpppf-

I wish I would have read the entire thread first. I was getting caught back up on forum posts and responded to each as I thought I had something to say........now I see after reading it through to the end that it was a real ugly mess and I wasted my time and others who bothered to read my replies.

sorry guys,

Diane

PS..........KK, kudos to you for always being willing to go to bat for people using your extensive gaming connections. I applaud the time you put in on this. You are one nice guy.
