LeoVegas locked my account with over £2300 in it

Update with where things are up to.

SPOILER ALERT - I don't have my money yet.

just searched google 'leo vegas locked withdrawals casinomeister' and it brought up a thread from aug last year, with a similar 'locked for security reasons' situation

Resolved - LeoVegas Slow Pay, Locked Account

on page 2 at post# 32 you posted chopley, reading that feels like a case of déjà vu or time travel :eek2:

I expect it will all get sorted by tomorrow, but it's another 'toxic' experience which somewhat dampens the joy from getting such a great win.

Hi!

I'm sorry to hear that you were locked out of your LeoVegas account.

Unfortunately, as this is a public forum I am unable to directly discuss your account here due to GDPR. In the case you require any further assistance with accessing your accounts or completing your withdrawal, I kidnly ask that you send an email to support@leovegas.com with the subject FAO: Nicola/Sabina and we will then be able to assist accordingly.

Thank you and enjoy the remainder of your weekend!

A LV Rep? Could it be??

Thanks for the response but there's nothing I particularly require assistance with in this matter.

I'll jump through the hoops required to get my withdrawal and then that'll be it for me and LV. My single biggest win ever in about 13 years of playing online, and the whole experience has been rendered more of a hassle than a pleasure, thanks to your casino's decision to lock my account without warning or explanation, and then send me through the whole account verification process at your own leisurely pace just to get my winnings out.

Please consider how truly horrible this is from the player's side. I literally just went downstairs to get a beer and have a wee, and upon my return was greeted with a very hostile message telling me my account had been locked out for 'security reasons', locking over £2300 of my own funds out of my reach, and then I had to sit in a chat queue to find out why.

This is something I do with my own free time and my own hard earned money as a form of entertainment. As I hope you can appreciate, my interactions with your casino are very far removed from being entertaining.

I'll take my money and then we can part company.

A couple of my chums dip in and out of my YouTube channel from time to time. When people who don't play online at all and don't really have any interest in doing so are taking the piss, you know there's a problem with how casinos are conducting themselves.....

And think about it, what chance do you think online casinos have of attracting these folks as potential customers?

(This is a message to a Manx Gamers Group that I'm a member of.)

For example if I withdrew £40 from Videoslots like I did the other day they are just as likely to look at it as if I had won £2000, I would have thought that there must be a threshold where an alarm would go off after a certain withdraw amount.
In my experience, anything over 2k, has to go through management first.

Just an idea for RG tool for everybody, all casinos out there.
How about an auto-cashout limit?
Player sets a limit and when the balance hits that (or anthing bigger) it is automatically cashed out and can't be reversed or return to your casino balance in any way. :D
I suggested this before I don't seem why they can't implement it but it would need ukgc to enforce it my idea was when you get to that limit it withdraws 75% so you have 25% to carry on if you wish.

Edited. Not cool of me to comment on another reps use of a GDPR excuse. Apologies. :)

TBH I think it's good you did Mark, because this sort of nonsense needs to be called out for what it is, nonsense. You're one of the better, more straightforward and honest reps with a presence here, which is something I very much appreciate.

I'll be trawling around for somewhere different to play in the near future, and I note you're going to start adding new providers shortly, perhaps a revisiting of playing at 32Red will be in order :)

I think its perfectly acceptable for you to comment as you wish. Most people on here know excuses like that are bullshit anyway. otherwise how do major companies manage to carry out customer service on twitter and facebook as an example.

it's not really. I respect Mark and what he says, but I'm fairly certain he wouldnt want another rep coming into his 'house' and saying 'sorry, but 4-5 days WDs isnt acceptable - we here at X casino do it thusly...' or ThePogg to come in and contradict Bryan's standards.

Professional courtesy and all that :) I respect his choice and him MORE to edit out and step aside.

TBH I think it'd be a healthy thing if reps voiced their opinions freely as to how they felt other casinos were doing things poorly compared to their own operations. It's entirely possible to do that in a civilised and constructive fashion, and the end result should be businesses that look after their customers better, which benefits us as players and leads on to the better operators thriving, with the crap ones falling by the wayside where they belong.

Look at where I am with LeoVegas at this moment in time, which is a really shit situation, £2339 trapped in the verification wrangler, off the back of my account being locked out for no reason whatsoever, and a bullshit 'explanation' as to the reason for the account getting locked.

The more scrutiny the better IMO, and I see no reason why reps can't be a worthwhile aspect of that scrutiny process.

we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

I was going to give certain reps a right rollocking, but unfortunately cannot due to GDPR regs :(

So I'll be forwarding them hate-mail via PM instead :cheerleader:
nah, nothing is preventing you from posting
as long as it isnt agenda driven :p :p :p

However this isn't on the subject of how a casino does business, its on the subject of legislation which is there in black and white for anyone to read, which Mark has knowledge on. If he had came in and said LV are shit because xxx then I would agree it was out of order.
