Well I'm not the definitive voice on all things DOA related but those kind of statistics do not surprise me. Although I will say that does sound quite brutal given your starting balance.

I tend to vary my bets on this game so even if I start at 36p a spin, when I get to say, £80, I would hastily lower my bet to 18/ 27p and even lower when on my last 15 quid or so.

Many of my best wins have come on 9 or 18p so I would personally give it a few hundred spins on those first to see what 'mood' it's in before upping my bets to a mammoth 36p, I think it's safe to say this game can eat your bankroll for breakfast and cares not what stakes you play at. If you put in 40 for 0.36 spins you don't have enough bank roll. In my opinion you need at least enough for 200 spins to start with.

I was in the same predicament as you (I was up £4,000 on this game) and the wins stopped. I lowered my bets to either £0.09, £0.18 or £0.27 I found I am getting much more play time and decent wins.

I am not saying that this is a fail way of winning but one thing for sure, you need a big bankroll and patience on this game.

Only thing I want from DOA is 5 scatters. I got one wildline and chasing it was enough for me. In late January-Early March I pretty much played DOA every day after I got enticed seeing 'wildline' screenshots' - didn't take long for me to realize that I'm going to need to be extremely lucky.

I did hammer the slot quite hard and got one x1000 bonus round without wildline a few weeks before I got my wildline. After that I have pretty much stopped playing DOA - in short because I found the base game really dull and the chase of the wildline I don't have the patience for anymore.

I would also like to warn that this slot can and mostly is a big buster and very rarely the big payer. I went over 100 deposits between June-July without a withdrawal let alone a Wild Line.
