I've been having very good gameplay lasting over 2 hours betting 9 cents on a $25-$30 deposit and this is at every casino ive been playing at for the past week. Earlier this week i was playing at GUTS betting 9 cents for 2 hours, upped my bet to 36 and got the wildline a short time after.
It doesn't seem to like me very much betting 18 cents or 27 cents at the moment but 9 cents and 36 cents seem quite good.

This is how my day went on dead or alive playing at guts and stanjames

Triggered the extra 5FS and WL came during that on inactive line.

I waited nearly 5 months to hit 5 x scatter and nearly 6 months to have my first Wild Line. I had now 5 x 5 scatter and 8 x Wild Lines since mid-May 2015. Thanks to my massive win of 13K EUR (which came from just a 100EUR deposit) at Redbet i am well in profit on the slot and the lifetime RTP overall is above 100%.

Thanks for the info, it is good for comparisons. My problem is I have played over 100k spins and not hit a wild line or 5 scatters once but like you say, statistically speaking it should hit at some point, but when?
Also I am not triggering bonus rounds close to that frequently. Other than one period of around 1,200 spins where I was hitting it about every 80 spins every session has averaged at well over 150 spins per trigger. Had quite a few sessions like last night where I am triggering every 500 spins or so. I don't have my stats back yet but an educated guess would say I'm triggering closer to every 200 spins than 150 which if correct is crazy to be so far out over so many spins.
Also even the very few sessions where I hit something to boost my bankroll like the $60 the slot immediately goes dead with crazy low RTP until I bust out.

Ha ha I thought I had been patient but now patience is wearing thin I must admit.
I suppose if and when it ever hits I will feel a little differently but even then it will only be giving me back a little of what it "owes" me and that assumes I hit anytime soon.

There are nearly 250 spins there without hitting a x5 bet. In fact only one returned more than $1 and that one spins paid a whipping $1.04 so basically a win of x3 bet though in reality it is a best win of 68c off a 36c bet.

I've never got near a wildline at some sites. But at others i had numerous wildlines.

It may sound illogical and superstitious. but certain sites are much much 'luckier' for me than others. Betat and Next casino to name but two.
My lifetime RTP at betat from 100's of deposits, is over 100%, and that's due in part to the number of DOA big wins i've had there

Having had a quick 'flick' thru your posted stat's JackMack I would be alarmed at those at 0.09p bets, never mind your 0.36p stake.

Something does not seem/look right but the only assumption I could make would be incredibly bad luck rather than a casino been rigged.

I have been playing online since 2003 and when those losing streaks come and boy do they come harsh at times, all sorts of things run through my mind so I can appreciate your suggestions, thoughts and frustrations, I can!

Best advice has been given already above, 'shop around' and vary play style...

Jack, I can only tell you from my experience but playing 0.36$ bets of a deposit of 20$ is pretty lethal. 99% out of 100 you will fail badly as you only have some 55 bets covered with your deposit.

I mostly start with a bet size that will give me a min. of 150 bets from the original deposit. E.g. 60$ deposit, i start with 0.45$; 150$ deposit, i start with 0.90$ or 1.35$. Even if the slot runs bad it will give me at least over 200 spins. If i realize it doesn't go well, i go down to very low or even min. bets for some time to save my balance. As Jon mentioned, should you get free spins and a WL while being at a very low bet the payout is still nice.

I never ever had a Wild Line on my first set of free spins. The only thing i got as first free spins was once 5 x scatter.

Usually on feature 4 or 5 the slot starts to show more wilds and it does it mostly 2 or 3 times in a row before it hides them again

Jon is also right in suggesting to try playing a different casinos. Don't get stuck at one place chasing your losses. I blew 5K AUD at Thrills within 3 days doing that and only managed to recover 1.5K and that without a WL. A few days later i received some free chips and got the 5 scatter which were only at 0.18$ which really wound me up as i was playing with 0.90 - 4.50 the previous days but it shows that a break will mostly help.

in the last few weeks though its been bad.. i used to get a feature on the odd occasion every 1-50 spins. now its between 250-500 spins.. ive even gone about 15 hundred spins before.

Thing is, it blows hot and cold. Some days you just keep winning, others you can't get a damned penny.

My experience is that with one exception, the last couple of weeks have been abysmal. Had a few modest wins and one wildline but most sessions bust out with zilch in almost record time.

Over a long period of time, number of players, spins it averages out.

I asked my favourite casinos for some stats on my play a little while ago.

Casino 1:

well all i can say is. i only play DOA 3 or 4 times a week. if i deposit 50, I'll play at 0.18 - 0.27, if I deposit 100 - 0.36 to 0.45 and I'd say I get a wildline every 2 to 3 weeks on average. It seems that the longer you can play, within one session, the better your chances are.

I've had sessions where i've gone 1100 spins without a bonus round, then i'll maybe get 5 bonus rounds within 100 spins. it always seems to balance out eventually (but within that session), IF you've got the balance to see you through the dips.
If i'd have been playing with too high a stake, i'd never have got through those 1100 spins and busted out. and by the time, i'd re-deposited and reloaded the game, I may well have missed out on those 5 bonus rounds.

also, I'm almost certain there isn't just ONE DOA game running on ONE server at Netent. So every time you disconnect and reconnect, you could be getting connected to a different server, which may be at a different point in it's 'cycle'

atlhough random, there does seem to be an underlying cycle to most games. if every time you're starting the game at the bottom of the cycle, and not allowing time for it to reach a peak, you may constantly lose.

Yes well I used to believe that five scatters on DOA was a folk tale told to us so that we keep playing, up until I actually hit it. I agree that it cyclical but more a case of catching it at the right time - which is impossible to predict on something as mercurial as DOA. We've all seen balances shoot up from pennies and mystifyingly drop back down like a lead balloon....

It does become a case of having 'luckier' casinos to play DOA at and pretty much alternating between those. These will obviously vary between everyone but then we tend to play at places we've encountered some success at, that's just human nature.

Personally I've had quite a few wildlines over a period of three/four years spanning several casinos but never have I expected them to happen, although that is pretty much the main aim with this game it can be infuriating chasing them or trying to almost force them to happen.

But it becomes a paradox because it is the kind of slot where you do have to invest a lot of time into it as mentioned before. Best to set a limit with this as it does like to punish players. I think that is indeed some really bad luck, sorry to say that Jack. I just checked all casino where i play DOA and my RTP is at none of them lower than 94.5%, highest is 125.7%.

It probably isn't rigged and that is just my frustration talking but when you get the same awful results endlessly you can't help but wonder that something is amiss.
There is something funky going on with this slot beyond natural variance though for it to blow so hot and cold IMO.

Regarding the long sessions theory, it just doesn't hold up. Afterall if the TRTP of a game takes your play into account that would be server-side and hooked into a database so your RTP on each software and slot would be measured universally on all casinos with database being global.
And anyway if the idea is that the session is reset each time you load the game then that would make my results more suspicious not less and of course people would just close the game off after a big win and go back on to wipe the slots "memory" - casinos and software suppliers would not leave such an obvious exploit even if they were using such an obvious device.
Obviously if you want a longer play session for your $20 then better to play 18c than 36c but if you are making repeated deposits it really should make no difference.
