And lets not forget Inspin who was banned at the same time - for a much milder offence IMO.

I asked Max at the time (by posting in the thread) how long the bans were, expecting them to be 1 week, or maybe 2 at most, but he never replied.

Nothing personal against Max, but I'm sure Bryan wouldn't have been so harsh if he wasn't away dealing with his own serious personal stuff at the time.

I think most of us love Kakata judging by the number of respondents in this thread. However, while MaxD's ban on him may seem a bit on the harsh side, it should be remembered that he was only playing his role as a moderator and should not be subject to such rude remarks. The imposition and lifting of bans is not an exact science and decisions may vary among different moderators. I also read other comments on what Bryan would have done if he had been here. Now we should understand that the fella is currently away and MaxD's primary aim would be to keep his house in order. We should learn to respect his decisions and even if we do not agree we should put them in a nicer way.

BTW welcome back Kakata. Your girlfriends must have missed you.
