Tips Jackpot Party is great!

Scientific Games bought WMS and consequently Williams Interactive and Jackpot Party. My gut feel is that they will want to licence the games out to more European providers and to future US providers and having an online casino might be seen as a conflict of interest and/or an unnecessary distraction.

Well that would suck. I was hoping that they'd expand their online presence, not the other way around.

I remember reading somewhere on the site or an email that the progressive jackpots have been given back to players based on contribution

Is anyone able to corroborate this? Sneaking off with the progressive pots would be very dodgy.

Yes that is correct, when i logged into my account I had some money in there from what I had contributed.

On another note, I was phoned last night by a random number, as per usual I don't pick up numbers that I don't know. Reading my emails this morning it was from slots magic (jackpotparty) asking if I had seen the new site etc and we tried to phone you! They must have had plenty of people close their accounts if it has come to this. I was going to close my account when I had the time but this has speeded up the process!!

I think I got around £1.50 refunded. I had lost £200 in the previous 7 days at JPP just low rolling. I feel my contributions to the progressive should have been a lot higher.

I wonder if the jackpot party support email is still live. Did all the staff lose their jobs? If the writing was on the wall for them, then I wonder why they continued to offer promotions the previous week.

I sent Slots magic an email over 24 hours ago with a few basic questions about the changes. I have not yet had a reply from them. My general feeling is to avoid this casino. Why have I not been asked to agree to the new T&C's? I agreed to the terms for jackpotparty.com only.

Looks like I got about £10 back - though that could have been a free-chip as I had a pop-up saying I would get £10...?

Crappy new lobby - and I couldn't get any WMS games to load - they all just returned an error message!
Games from other providers loaded OK.

All in all this looks like a total train-wreck. Not only for the loyal Jackpot Party players - but also for the operator, who probably looked at JP's facts & figures and thought they were buying a cash-generator - but with the changes they've made I can only see players leaving in droves.

I have e mailed asking them to close my account - the games crash or freeze constantly. I could not withdraw without depositing . They keep phoning my mobile whilst I am at work - although they have not answered my e mails 30 hours on - I am not too worried about that as I know they will be busy but if they stopped phoning me when I cant answer that would help . Jackpot Party was a friendly little community. Now replaced with a sprawling mess.

Can't recommend taking any bonuses right now if you're planning to play WMS games. Live chat doesn't seem to have a much of a clue. Made a 35€ deposit quickly into 500€. Withdrawal was processed while I was sleeping and I had received this message:

"I am happy to inform you that your withdrawal request has been processed by our Finance Department.
As per our terms and conditions, your withdrawal should be processed tomorrow, however, as you are a valuable member of our community and we are so happy you managed to request your first withdrawal, we have made an exception and processed your current pending withdrawal now."

I guess they're at least trying to do something but with the games not loading or randomly crashing it's not a lot. I don't think I will deposit here again.

Shame

A really good accredited casino disappears overnight. I will play out my £50 and move on. B365 who I trust 100% now has all my favs (Ruby Slippers etc)

I will miss the random party jackpot, hit £700 odd on it 2 weeks ago on a 30p spin :)

Cashed out my jackpotparty points today to the value of £26. I proceeded to make this up to £350 despite getting kicked out of every WMS slot every 5-10 spins. I had to make a deposit to withdraw my money so lets see how it goes

I got 0,17 back WTF??? That does not seem right at all looking at my many deposits last years. Or could it be because i have snatched a couple 1 star ones hehe

Obviously they're giving back the most recent jackpots based on contribution to those. If a jackpot that you contributed a lot to had already been won you won't get as much refund. Just in case someone missed this.

Or alternatively the new owners just pinched a load of JPP contributed money in the process of the takeover and made a token gesture back to the players whereby nobody will ever be able to prove one way or another if there was a rip-off involved.

Thumb's up to you. Unsollicited phone call should always = closing your account. Always. If more people would do that, maybe they'd stop doing it.

Chop that's a damn sweet deal for the new owners regardless! Most players will either don't know/bother about it or play and lose those paltry "refunds", Slot Magic will end up paying pennies on the dollar and cashing nearly all that progressive money!

Yeah if they were ringing you up on your birthday, to wish a happy birthday here is a free £1000 chip then that would be a different story. That is where i draw the line. No contact should be made on phone numbers registered final! email is for communicating....
