First heard about this about a year ago but was told to keep quiet by the developers (I'm surprised I have TBH) but the sequel to Immortal Romance is released this week.

There are four new characters Cryo, Ava, Tyler and Bridget. Pretty much everything is the same about the game, apart from the graphics not being as sharp and they forgot the damn autoplay again - even on the viper client!

Was released at midnight, so having my first real money spins later today :)

haha I've actually searched for it at a couple places I thought might have it but couldn't find it - casumo, betsson, 888, videoslots.

So MG is releasing a low-budget, low-quality exact clone of their most successful slot and that is a reason to celebrate? I would not classify that as a sequel even in the remotest way as it is a pure clone. No new or changed features, same payouts etc.

And that is some super, super secret for one year?

Saw it at CasinoRewards brands, if anyone's interested. At least, they kept the RTP of 96.86%.

FYI, it has AUTOPLAY

Weird. That's where Ping Pong Star was released, and that was a bit controversial because everyone said it was a Megaways clone.

Well, because it is a clone. :D

CasinoRewards says it was developed by their own subsidiary ZeroFox Entertainment which has its address close to the CasinoRewards HQ in Sydney.

Microgaming denied they had anything to do with it. However, including the game on the VIPER download client can only be done with the help of Microgaming.

In essence, not really clear who the real culprit was.

AFAIK, the reel mechanic is not trademarked or patented, only the name Megaways is. BTW, Ping Pong Star got a sibling now called Majestic Dragons Epic Ways! :D

Finally i can play a version of Immortal romance where i have none of the different bonuses-features unlocked.
Unlocking them is the fun part...Said no-one ever.
:p

Nothing against clones, but i dont really see the point of this one.

Here's the strange thing though.

With all these MG 243 ways games that have 4 different features that require unlocking,
the first features available on them (eg Valkyrie, Kimi, Amber, Coffee & Chocolate) are usually one of the best two paying features for that game.

A feature that has all wins with a 5x mulitplier plus re-trigger potential is actually a fairly decent opening feature to have at your disposal, while you set about trying to unlock the second (and usually best) one.

Also, the third feature for those games (eg Odin, Ashley, Michael, Whisky & Cigars) is usually the worst (or second worst) paying of the four.

So realistically, once you unlock the second feature (eg Loki, Sofia, Troy, Wine & Cheese),
there is little real incentive to unlock the others.

Me personally, I'd rank the features like this....

TS2 - 1. Valkyrie, 2. Thor, 3. Loki, 4. Odin
Playboy - 1. Sofia, 2. Kimi, 3. Jillian, 4. Ashley
Finer Reels - 1. Wine & Cheese, 2 Coffee & Chocolate, 3. Whisky & Cigars, 4. Champagne & Diamonds

IR is the tricky one. I would clearly have Michael as the worst of the four (it can still pay well though - it is easily "the best of the worsts").
But Amber, Troy and Sarah are fairly close. I probably rank them 1. Troy, 2, Sarah, 3. Amber, 4. Michael

Geez, as IR's No.1 fan, I sort of got excited when I read the thread title, I say sort of as I know what NOT to expect from MGS these days

Having read more, I know feel a touch embarrassed as I should have known a lot better!

Finally the slot players have been calling out for, for years and they ply us with this garbage, attack of the clones, AGAIN!

They could have done so much more with this title, for starters, apply some blumin imagination for once in a very long time!

Even humble me could have scripted something FAR superior to this dross looking, tiresome, repetitive shite!

Kind of stuck on ultra low rolling when I do have a punt for now so 0.30 bit high for me but even if I hit a triple wild line with 16 spins to go later, not one I'll be rushing to try, especially if they do such a high quality level of HTML5 coding as they have done to date

Thanks for the heads up all concerning this. I have published a brief overview based on the content in this thread. Immortal Creatures Slot

Since when did they clone Mega Moolah into Mega Vault Millionaire ?

Is that exclusive to their group or something ?

Big shame that they are based in Australia yet cant shove enough money into some politicians pockets to reverse the 2017 law and let MG serve us Aussie players again :(

Exclusive for a period. It will go global within the next few weeks AFAIK.

There is also a new progressive slot being released soon that has a starting jackpot of GBP2,000,000 instead of the 1 mill on Mega Moolah. It is called Wheel of Wishes and is developed for MG by Alchemy Gaming.
