So I have always been a big fan of the Amber song from Immortal Romance. I've often wondered if the female vocalist has actually sung for any bands. I emailed Stormcraft Studio's who were responsible for IR1 and IR2. They replied back.

I wasn't expecting a reply to be honest so it was nice to get a reply. Obviously the woman who sang the song doesn't want to be named or hasn't done any commercial singing in a band which is a shame as she has an amazing voice.

Hi Justin,

Apologies for the late reply, and thanks so much for reaching out!

We’re thrilled to hear there’s been discussion about the Immortal Romance music on the forums—it’s something very close to our hearts at Stormcraft. The original Amber song from the first Immortal Romance game was performed by a studio vocalist as part of a soundtrack we produced in-house, specifically for the game. It was never released commercially outside of the game at the time, but we’ve had countless requests over the years from fans just like you.

We’re excited to let you know that just yesterday, we released our brand-new album Immortal Romance: Vein of Gold. It features four new original songs, each inspired by the characters from Immortal Romance II, including a brand-new anthem for Amber called Turn the Tide. You can listen to it here on Spotify:

The music was written and produced by our creative team at Stormcraft, with lyrics crafted to align closely with each character’s story arc. Amber’s new track in particular is an empowering piece that we hope fans of the original will really connect with.

Thanks again for your interest and support—it truly means a lot to us.

Best regards,
The Stormcraft Studios Team

That's pretty cool of Stormcraft to take the time to write back to you on this and also tell you about the new stuff coming out. They obviously care about this and appreciate the recognition from fans of the game and the music.

I remember when Immortal Romance firstcame out, Microgaming knew it was going to be a hit and did some publicity around it. They took some competition winners to Transylvania, if I am not mistaken, for an authentic dark gothic experience. It's got to be one of the more interesting prizes I have heard of before.
