Some of you fellow meistro's may have noticed that I like to don the tinfoil hat, on the odd occasion.

I would like to let you into a little secret that I have discovered, namely the incredible power of karma.

You see, I like to listen to the podcasts, or read the writings of a select group of researchers, whose work I place absolute faith in, and I am much the richer for it, both spiritually and financially.

Now here is the interesting bit, from a gambling perspective. I have noticed that whenever I send a paypal donation to one of these otherwise unsalaried freedom fighters, my luck improves tenfold.

So for example, I send £50 to Alan Watt, I then go to play roulette and win £500, it's uncanny. :)

unfortunately losing 100 at the casino then donating 50 will result in a net loss of 150 more than any kind of monetary return.
but the good feels..paying it forward..the idea of karma..can be very rewarding..not just for you but the beneficiary of your kindness.
of course giving out anything only because you HOPE it rewards you back isn't very altruistic. but hey. it's nice people think at least to give back
I posted a free contest to my friends of 50 bucks for someone to help with Xmas shopping. no terms or conditions. I said karma. but really. I had it. some don't. hopefully it helps someone out irrespective.of any good luck revolving wheel

No. I don't think I did. I was merely expounding and adding 2 cents. :)

I've been sending Derek Acorah £20 before each session.

I'm down thousands :(

He's obviously one of them, you have to give to one of us, for it to have any benefit. That is, if you are one of us.

Hey guys, take the piss all you like, I really don't care. I'm just passing along a tip, take it or leave it. It works for me. :)

Don't worry about it, it's fine son.

Like I said, I really don't care, but if someone proffers a bit of esoteric advice on how to improve my fortunes, I'm all ears. :)

sure. don't gamble :D

becuase I'm smart enough to go in knowing it's a source of entertainment going in and expecting to lose but receiving said entertainment with the POSSIBILITY OF making money

anyone who goes in thinking its a source of income needs to spend more time reading the forum ;)

My curiosity got the better of me and I had to find out who this Derek Acorah was. Turns out he is some Scouse scally of a con-man.

Just had to Google Alan Watts. Seems he is a dead philosopher and one of his quotes is:

Too bad you got it wrong, I was referring to Alan Watt, without the S on the end, who is the pre-eminent researcher into the cult of freemasonry and the ancient mystery religions.

Highly recommended, but not an easy listen, to the profane among us. Profane being the term that high masonry uses to describe us plebs. :)
