i thought i would ask if anyone out there has been givin any gifts by the casinos we support this holiday season,i'll start it off by saying the casinos that i regularly deposit to have been platinum play, royal vegas, club world and the other ones that have had deposits just maybe less then the previous ones are music hall, inet bet,3 dice, sloto cash, and superior and none of them have givin me jack squat this season...only superior has done anything and thats a free $10 every week on monday but that isnt holiday related even though it is nice....so anyone else done better?it used to be that they all did just like they used to do b-days but no more

I wish they would. To be honest, anything below $500 is considered a bribe and is taken as an insult by me! One might expect those "wee.. christmas $10 for you", or "christmas %100 match" or so with christmas WR attached.

I've wagered quite some thousands in December, but no christmas goodies has been thrown at me by any casino. Maby I wager and loose to much, no reason to please paying customers I would guess, it's normal business logic.

Would be interesting to see if any casino infact do credit their customers in the name of Kris Kringle... Ho Ho Ho! (which by the way got the best of me the other day)

Wild Jack sent me a card with a gift code good for $10.00.
Wish it was a bit more, but I appreciate anything I can get. I remember the good old days though, when I would have a bad run at the casino, and get on live chat, and they'd throw $20.00 or $30.00 into my account. Diamond Deal ( Playtech) was really good about that. Man, I miss those days!
There are still a few days left so don't give up hope yet.;)

Oh they still do, just ask them for some comp points or a manager bonus for a poor peasent, :) The thing that is tricky though, is finding the casinoes who infact gives you some value when you hit the dirt. Loosing $100 doesnt deserve much, but if you loose say 1500 I would hope for a little more than 30...

I received some nice Christmas cards and Jackpotjoy sent me a bottle of Champagne :D

Now that is a real one Meister! Like I said to one of the casinoes, send me a bottle of beer of throw me some comp points (but I'd rather have the beer, I can accually touch them...). Now you only need a sigar!

I wish they sendt other things than install CD's and match bonuses... :/

Lucky Me

Well I guess I must be a lucky one then - the two casinos I play most at have both sent me fairly expensive looking Christmas hampers! Obviously could have bought myself hundreds of them with the money I've lost, but hey, it's the thought that counts!!

I seem to have done OK so far;

200 from Ruby Fortune,
50 from Mummy's gold,

even 50 from Casino Rewards:what:

Total of 300 from Microgaming, with usual WR attached.

Nothing so far from the rest. Some give new year bonuses, rather than for Christmas, probably because they know family don't expect their loved ones to be meeting WR over Christmas dinner:D
If I so much as log on in front of my Nieces on Christmas day, I will have merry hell to pay (so I will log on before I go over for dinner:D).

Personally im quite aware of the casinos that throw in regular freebies, especially around christmas times, new year and birthdays and those casinos that are nice to me well im nice to them throughout the following year. The ones that dont give a damn and give nothing, get nothing back in return.

Nothing yet. Actually, not to sound scrooge like or anything, but I'm not sure I really want them. Really, what kind of a "gift" is it if you have to meet WR and jump through hoops just to win off it. It's like telling someone that you got them a present but they have to go and buy it, wrap it, etc. Kind of hollow when WRs are attached. Has anyone received anything from Villento or 3Dice???

I have noticed a difference....

In the past few years since US players have been banned from many casinos. I used to receive some really nice free play deposits and presents from various casinos. Mind you, being a US player, it's only in the last year that I have been playing regularly again. My play style is the same as it was in the past however bonuses have been stingy along with the XMas booty usually offered. Just my observations.

Happy Holidays all!
Christine

Another thing, why wait and see if something falls down into your account? If you know you have wagered alot at a casino, and lost that is (is there any other way?), send them a nice email and ask if it might be possible for them to find it in their hearts to dish up a very merry christmas bonus for you, so you hav a little to get you started. After all it's christmas.

This usually works very nice, aftert all - it's humans like you and me that sits in the support department. The bigger casinoes have their own people, and it's not their money so they don't really care, you make them happy by making you happy, :)

So thats my advice, send an email and see what happends!

And yes, if you casino usually throws you $10s I'd run away, for your information other casinoes stretches much farther for their "clients".

I just got myself $300 in bonus myself, hower who could have known that Mega Moolah needed almost 500 spins for freespin... There was to little gasoline left in the engine afterwards to get it back on the road, :D Maby it's closing time for the jackpot, it's really stingy theese days!

Not a thing... Nada, zip, zero from anyone!!

Gonna change my name to Tiny Tim :( :( :( :D

Mind you, most of my wagering this year has probably been at Crypto and Wagerworks -- and they're not renowned for their 'extras'...

That's not to say I've not also dumped a stupid amount in my MG's of choice too... Maybe they're saving something extra special up for me nearer the big day

I just received a present full of sweets and cookies from 3Dice !
Sorry, couldnt wait til christmas :o I probably put on a pound already :D

Edit: there was also a very generous no WR bonus in my account today !!

Thank you very much Enzo ;)

Merry christmas to you all !

How's this for an xmas present??? wow!!!!

Christmas bonus hall of shame: Las Vegas USA

I would actually have to say that Intertops takes the cake. I have never been so irritated by a casino. I don't know if they only treat their casino customers like crap, or their sports bettors as well... but I yanked their ads and closed my player and affiliate accounts earlier today.

I received my "Fantasy Golf" bonus this morning (technically, yesterday morning by now). If you're not familiar with that, it's their joke of an idea of a comp system, but worse because it's a bonus (not cash back) so there's a wagering requirement, and you only get it once a week on Thursdays. It's the usual wager $10,000 to get a pathetic $10 type of thing. My bonus was $30 this week so I guess I wagered between $20,000 and $30,000 last week.

So I get my bonus and headed to Spring Break, where I lost it in record time with 0.18 to 0.45 bets, enjoying a return of less than 50%.

Being that I have been pretty damn loyal to these guys for the past 6 months, having deposited thousands and never made a withdrawal, I decided I would see if they would be willing to give me a "second chance" with that $30 bonus. So I emailed them politely asking about it, mentioning my play history. Nine hours pass with no response. I email them again, and two and a half hours later they finally said "No, but you can get a 10% bonus on your first deposit this weekend."

I was floored. Other casinos that I used to be able to play at have been known to toss me $100 no strings attached without me asking for anything (I do NOT normally ask casinos for freebies). And then there's Intertops, who goes out of their way to lose loyal and profitable customers.

Their response to my account closure request was just as icy-cold as their first reply. Those guys seriously need a lesson on customer service. I was certainly no whale, but I wasn't a minnow either. This is the one big problem with so many casinos - they get one super-mega-high-roller and expect all of their other players to perform at that same level, and if they don't then they're a piece of crap. I hate that attitude and I don't understand how anyone can stay in business with it.

I am amazed. These stupid bonuses as I have mentioned to some MG managers are super-crap. Even if only slots are played the comp ratio ie where you get cash against wagering req is 30,000:1. How's that for retention of mid-range players like SW. Generous sign-up bonuses to attract blood-scenting sharks who never return and shun those who have lost thousands with such icy replies (the Poles are melting for pete's sake) It wouldnt hurt to comp the player with apprx 5% of his recent losses, would it?

PS: SW, ya asked for it by playing Spring Break when they actually leave ya out in the cold. Hoping for a miracle with their $30. Next time, if they do give you something within the next 2 weeks, play Path of the Penguin.

I know Spring Break can be a beast. I squeezed just over 200 spins out of it (no bonus round, of course). But as far as them giving me something - too late. They had their chance. Account is already closed and software is already uninstalled.

And I think they were the only remaining MG that accepts my debit card. :eek2:

"No, but you can get a 10% bonus on your first deposit this weekend."

Isnt't that just nice! That's what your 1000s of hard cash was worth in the end! As you say there are a few other casinoes out there who values their customers. When loosing those amounts, you do some high rolling aswell I would expect.

Without mentioning names, I usually do alot of 5-10 betting, which means that 50 euroes really doesnt last that many spins. I had a daily limit for 1000 and blew it some days in a row. When I asked for some manager bonus to get me going, since I couldnt deposit anyway, I was awarded a whopping 20!

I believe I understand your feeling, :D

Re

Agreed. Only got the $5.00 from slots o cash. I myself just started playing there and only made my first deposit last week. Rival seems better at bonuses. They may not be huge, but they seem frequent.

Alright ENZO, people are getting some goodies from you these days. Where's mine, am I on the BAD list or something!!?? HAHAHA. Merry Christmas all!

i miss the good old days where you could play where you wanted:mad:.....i had a nice big package from sands of the caribbean 2 years ago that had all kinds of omaha steaks, baskets of sweets and perfumes, last thing was a bottle of red wine from where i play now. but i do get the usuall free chips during the holidays like so many others...................laurie

christmas theme at 3dice

if you haven't seen it yet, 3dice went through the trouble to add a christmas theme to their casino. i'd say that's a nice gesture to all of us ;)

thank you 3dice and merry christmas to you as well

Has anyone received a christmas bonus from 32Red?

So far only 3dice sent me a present and a bonus, but that one was so nice, guess it makes up for other casinos not sending me anything :D

Freddy

Nah... Nothing.

No casino has ever actually physically sent me a real present I don't think... Not that I can remember anyhow... Still, I guess I've only dropped about 300,000 into them over the years

Anyone ever get anything from Crypto casinos, other than the occasional 'match' bonuses?

Sorry to hear that. Well this was the first time I received an actual present from a casino.

I do appreciate that 32red has a really nice match bonus every month for their Club Rouge members. But it would be nice to get something extra for christmas too. Like a free bonus :D

I sent them an e-mail e few days ago asking real nice for a christmas bonus :p
No answer as of yet tho, but then again theres a few days left before christmas :)

spinpalace rocks!!

well it comes....

woohoooooo!recieved a holidaycard from spinpalace including a golden envelop with $200!!!
valid after 01/01/2008
Later i had a chat with bigdollar and understood something is coming my way..
I mailed a few casino where i have deposit also a lot this year but nada nothing,no christmasbonus this year. That was villento, vegas joker, colosseum, casino extreme, partycasino(deposit a lot there) and grand bay.
But i think there still can be a surprise from grand bay.
I am not such a big depositer at spinpalace, maybe $600 a year but they are always nice to me with these special days.
Live in the netherlands so maybe it will come to you.Watch your snailmail!

I think the casinos need to make more of an effort and stop being so damn cheap!

I would actually appreciate a 'physical' gift more than free chips or match deposit bonuses. This would also show the casino is not encouraging gambling over Christmas when most people will be with their family. Not a big deal for me personally, but I think its just the right thing to do.

What's more annoying than anything is receiving a "Merry Christmas from all of us at x?x?x?x?x casino" email which contains nothing apart from that! What is the point?!?!?! Where's my free chips damn you!!!! lol

I seem to remember 32Red do something on the big day itself in past years. We'll wait and see. I also received a decent bonus from Blue Square on my Birthday, so maybe there is a Wagerworks casino that will do something...we'll see.

"On Christmas day Mr Ware? Christmas Day? But Mr Ware, my family are expecting me 'ome for dinner Mr Ware... Tiny Tim will be expecting me to carve the Christmas sparrow Mr Ware!"

"Shut up Harrison... You'll work Christmas day till 11pm... Those customer accounts won't look after themselves -- and no sneakily turning the heating on like you did last year either"

Totally agree!
Just 'Merry Christmas' or 'Happy Birthday' - why don't you celebrate by depositing & playing with your own money only & losing at our casino? :machinegu

The other annoying e-mails are the ones that say something like 'Great news!' - no free chips, just announcing a new game release...
:axeman:

eafter starting this thread there was the tiniest of hope that some reps may see it and respond to it but they haven't and i guess they won't but i do gotta say that the $5 that sloto gave me i been using for 3 days now playing aces and faces vp and i'm up to $5...lol
, thats exactly were my account stands so it's like the last 3 days never occured

I got a card in the mail from LVUSA saying I have a $125 NY celebration bonus (it was from the state of WA) I go log on and it's a frikin 125% bonus! I have to make a deposit to get it. No thanks!

I havnt gotten any christmas gift but im not a high roller so dont really expect one either. Im sure Club World will give me a little one like they did last year (that was appreciated)
