How's this for an xmas present??? wow!!!!
Christmas bonus hall of shame: Las Vegas USA
I would actually have to say that Intertops takes the cake. I have never been so irritated by a casino. I don't know if they only treat their casino customers like crap, or their sports bettors as well... but I yanked their ads and closed my player and affiliate accounts earlier today.
I received my "Fantasy Golf" bonus this morning (technically, yesterday morning by now). If you're not familiar with that, it's their joke of an idea of a comp system, but worse because it's a bonus (not cash back) so there's a wagering requirement, and you only get it once a week on Thursdays. It's the usual wager $10,000 to get a pathetic $10 type of thing. My bonus was $30 this week so I guess I wagered between $20,000 and $30,000 last week.
So I get my bonus and headed to Spring Break, where I lost it in record time with 0.18 to 0.45 bets, enjoying a return of less than 50%.
Being that I have been pretty damn loyal to these guys for the past 6 months, having deposited thousands and never made a withdrawal, I decided I would see if they would be willing to give me a "second chance" with that $30 bonus. So I emailed them politely asking about it, mentioning my play history. Nine hours pass with no response. I email them again, and two and a half hours later they finally said "No,
but you can get a 10% bonus on your first deposit this weekend."
I was floored. Other casinos that I used to be able to play at have been known to toss me $100 no strings attached without me asking for anything (I do NOT normally ask casinos for freebies). And then there's Intertops, who goes out of their way to lose loyal and profitable customers.
Their response to my account closure request was just as icy-cold as their first reply. Those guys seriously need a lesson on customer service. I was certainly no whale, but I wasn't a minnow either. This is the one big problem with so many casinos - they get one super-mega-high-roller and expect all of their other players to perform at that same level, and if they don't then they're a piece of crap. I hate that attitude and I don't understand how anyone can stay in business with it.
