I note @Mark_32Red you seem to have liked a post in which Slottery claims my complaint and explanation of gambling issues as a ‘sob story’ Same professional conduct as I’ve always experienced from 32red. Would have thought by now you’d have been thoroughly trained on Responsible Gambling and would have some compassion for those who had to deal with gambling issues whilst navigating your terrible ways of SE at the same time. Clearly not.
FTR it's a disservice to read too much into a 'like' - it could mean someone agrees in whole, or in part, or simply a recognition of 'I read this, thank you for taking the time to post'

Take it as you will but I wouldnt delve too deeply into an emoji :)

I just find it unprofessional given the content of said post.

Maybe you should consider more to deal with your gambling addiction, now only thing what you might do is harm others when UKGC get these cry stories enough, they again then realize that hey, we need new regulations, let's make mandatory £100/month loss and £1000 deposit limit spiced up with £2 max bet rule because we still seem to have people we have to babysit even they should be legal age to vote.

These all the time increasing regulations are made for that really small amount of people who are not able to anyhow take care of themselves like self-exclude from casino within many years time or even ask help so let's be proactive and make more regulations to prevent this happening and let's ruin gambling from everybody because there always is one from million who can't cope with his/herself.

I can see you getting a bit of a ban if you don't stop having little digs at Mark. I would suggest you stop.

I already explained I’ve dealt with gambling issues and now was the time for me to deal with a casino who encouraged it

Sorry I’m ruining your gambling life by making a complaint, but you ain’t gonna stop me doing it, if anything you are encouraging me more.

You just have nothing to deal anymore, if you haven't realize by now, you have wrote something in this thread which very simply and shortly make it 99% to 100% sure that nobody gonna even consider any refund but your "complaint" few years late ending up to same bin than these few hundreds other made from UK every week.

You really think casino now refund your deposit as gesture of goodwill? Keep on dreaming...

You think UKGC is doing anything to individual complaint like this? Keep on dreaming....

You think any ADR service deal with self-exclusion claims if casino and player disagree? Keep on dreaming....

Court is biggest cost to you but maybe some of your friend or somebody you share your story with, speak you some sense that you don't spend more stupid money, you had your gamble and chance to win, now it's gone, you only can lose from now on and going court is option which cost you money. These other ones reply you for free and tell that unfortunately there is nothing they can do.

I don’t know how many times I’ve got to say that I’m in not interested in what you have to say. If my complaint has no merit why have you got such a bee in your bonnet about it ?

I’m not taking personal attacks on here. Please crack on with your legal challenge and as I said, genuinely, earlier I wish you the best of luck.

The post contained much more than a comment on “sob story”. You’re new here so I won’t patronise but these threads happen a lot (not just 32Red thankfully) and Slottery explains the reasoning behind his/her comments and the fact that SE is a mutual agreement amongst other points I agreed with. Thanks to Dion for stepping in there.

I’m responding here (as I thought I made clear) as my own opinion and to be honest I hoped I was being quite reasonable and helpful. You’ve used some big threats of court procedures etc in your comments so you can hopefully appreciate (you’ve been told a couple of times) that I can’t really get involved from a professional point of view - not at least as I don’t know who you are or the circumstances of your situation.

I’m no longer replying to your comments. Best wishes and please sign up to Gamstop and the others suggest on here (and I’m sure by 32Red staff back in the day).

Cheers
Mark

It’s not meant as I dig more of an observation. Of all the comments to like one which refers to my complaint as a ‘sob story’ is not the one to pick. I’m sorry he is clearly respected on the forum I just found it unprofessional that’s all.

I can see you getting a bit of a ban if you don't stop having little digs at Mark. I would suggest you stop.

Was not meant as an attack. It was a comment dismissive of my complaint and addiction. I felt it wrong for it to be liked by you and i have said so.

I love how at the end you’ve referred me to Gamstop when you know others have already suggested it. Clearly trying to make a dig by referring to my addiction. Nice.

What I see in this someone who has lost a lot of money and probably just not on 32Red is in a financial crisis and looking to put the problem onto someone else rather be responsible for his own actions, if winning won on his side we would not have this thread, its time we are adults and stop looking for ways to put the weight of our problems onto someone else to benefit ourselves.

Ok but that’s not the case. How can you comment on my financial position when you have no idea. I have not complained to any other casino as had nothing to complain about. I losT fair and square and they excluded me as soon as I requested.

It’s pointless talking to people who have no idea on my situation or motivation. Have a nice day.

I’m not going to get into a long debate with people who know nothing about my situation anyway. Have a nice day.

Ok. This is getting ridiculous can I ask why you are sending me to this ? Did I ask for assistance at any point with regard to problem gambling ? I excluded 4 years ago.

I have a valid complaint and had every right to post it. Why does that offend you ?
M
It's a courtesy; nothing more, nothing less :)

re: explained I had a gambling problem. (post 1, page 1)

One of our staff has made a solid, concerted effort to bring this to light.
