Hi Ben,

Hope you are well.
Got this lovely mail in my e-mail today.

Hi Mark

Both the Mega Fortune and Hall of Gods progressive jackpots are now over €3,000,000 (yes that is a lot of zeros) and we are offering you 40 Free Spins to hit it big. Just make a deposit of €20 or more today and tomorrow at 12pm CET claim 40 free spins on either Mega Fortune OR Hall of Gods just by logging in and launching the game, it is that simple. Why Wait!

Both games feature a Major Progressive Jackpot now over €3,000,000, a free spin feature and wild symbols. Which one will you pick?

Remember, there is no wagering on the free spins and we process withdrawals in under 2 hours. Just 2 great reasons to play at Guts.com

Best of luck,
Ben Clemes

Can you just clarify if I deposit 20 or more today I will qualify for the free spins tomorrow or do I need to deposit 2 days in a row?

Cheers for clarifying.

Mark.

There needs to be a deposit of 20€ or more on 6th of August (yesterday). Basically if you deposited 20€ yesterday, you should get the free spins as per your email, today.

I rarely remember to claim free spins - I'd need pop-up reminders

Or an email, or at least somewhere I can check.
I don't play every day and if I lose or win, I never remember if I'm suppose to get free spins. I know I have missed some at Guts when they had a whole week where you could claim free spins, but since I didn't remember what game it would be on I never went back.
Do they expire or will I find myself having spins on almost every game I open one day?;)

(sorry for being lazy, you might have it all explained on the site)

I really can't explain

GUTS ACHE I reckon.
Feel like I donated my 100 bucks to a totally unworthy cause.
No amount of strife. Sure pissed me off.
Been having my share of browser difficulties lately and resorted to installing Firefox simply to try and get some continuity at this GUTS joint - not suspecting others were also having difficuty.
Fav. games that won't load.
Others that don't stay loaded. And me with $3.5k WR to get thru ???
On games giving me 4 or 5 spins then freezing
Sometimes a lil notice saying contact support and quote #2 or somethin
And me ignoring it - because there's No live chat
and me believing trouble's all at my end anyway ..........
How many frickin times did I Refresh the site? Clear cookies. Restart?
GOD KNOWS.

Couldn't get my deposit accepted initially.
So no live chat. And "No reply" emails ...
Overcame that problem eventually by disabling the Chrome browser adblocker
But forced to find another browser.
And 10 hours later - still 1500 bucks worth of WR to go?
In despair wasted most of it on Imm Romance. $2 spins.
Not my style!

Now it's 3am the following day -
and I just ploughed the rest into some silly mermaid game thing.
"Simpler"(?) but hateful...
About to clear out at zero when I remembered I had some free spins to go on Starburst.
Finished that lot (yawn) with $3 in the kitty, put $2 on the next spin and won $40
Thought that meant more WR to worry about.
Set it at $1 spins on auto
A bit later look again and the new info is "No further Bonus" requirement.
So coulda left with $40 huh ?

What a frustrating, demoralising, shitty experience it all was.
Wish I hadn't visited the forum and followed that stupid bloody link here !

And the big welcome 2 bonuses to go?
No Way mate !!!

I had several issues. No bonus, no Starburst freespins. I got through to the support via e-mail, and Guts was really very nice about it, and corrected the mistake. The one thing that puzzled me was how I just could not win. The bonus monies just disappeared, no decent win on any slot. Then the freespins - no "wild" symbol in 50 (!) spins? That was weird.
So I tried Guts a second time, and this time I got to withdraw.
Guts are getting a horrible (undeserved?) rap on the Swedish Flashback Forum.

I guess Google can translate?

Most of those members at Flashback does not look like they know what gambling is about? Just seen some of the comments there. Absolute rubbish.
One comment there
With offers like that then it's clear that GUTS is rigged WTF??
made me laugh and I got enough also very messy the setup there at their forum. Seems like fun talk for teenagers there to be honest or 16-25 Swedish House Mafia :D

It's a Swedish forum, and it's huge. Gambling is only one subject of many. Whether or not they understand gambling is not the issue. What is, is that Ben should know about the not-very-nice comments about Guts.

Thanks for the heads up  Google translate said some nice comments too so hopefully I am breaking even :-)

Thanks again,

Ben

Hi Ben,

I haven't taken any bonusses yet with my deposits and I was just wondering if I can still claim any of the welcome bonusses...
As I wanted to play another session but extend my playtime and bankroll a bit!:thumbsup:

Thanks,

Mark.

Mostly good experiences re play on GUTS' slots offerings from me so far. I took advantage of all the 3 welcome bonuses, but not the full amounts available as I deposited less than required to trigger the maximum, and I did cash out some profit on my first and third deposits.

Some of the spins were a little laggy, but no worse than IGT games elsewhere and it didn't spoil my fun. The withdrawal fee is a little naughty and is not something I've experienced elsewhere, but it's a  from me so far.

requested witdthraw £2000...
lets see how long it takes...
they are asking for my documents AGAIN (I was already verified, had sent my documents in the past already), but they say they need up to date documents every 6 months???!!
I hope they dont stall the process..

I was wondering about that, why must one send in documents every 6 months? What type of documents are required? At one casino I just sent in my ID card nothing else was needed and some casinos want bills, and if you use neteller they want that info as well. Is all that really necessary?

So I made a couple of deposits at Guts.
Good experience so far
I needed to contact support, and it was solved in a minute through live chat!

I have noticed though, there seems to be a slight delay on spins compared to other Netents.
I didn't check other casinos at the same time, it may have been the same for all of them.

Was just about to give it a try but.... A no go for a lot of us UK players.

People know my situation by now here (Typed it loads of times) but as a UK player I have no ID card (They are not given or mandatory), No driving licence (never learnt how to drive) and no Passport (Never been overseas).

Before I made the account I asked support about birth certificate. They claim it cant be used as ID but can be used for proof of address.... WTF? Wouldnt that open the doorway for fraud since the address on the birth certificate may not be the address someone is currently living at. I was under the impression that birth certificate is either accepted as ID at a casino or not accepted at all.

Anyway, terminated live chat, opened an account and instantly self excluded for 1 year just so I know this is somewhere I wont see a penny of my winnings with the ID I currently have (Will never pay to get a passport or driving licence just so I can misuse them by sending them over to satisfy a casino)

Too bad, really wanted to try this place :/.

Edit: and OMG!!!!

Spoke to Michael in chat to start with who told me it can only be accepted as proof of address. I Said I would just sign up, self exclude instantly so in future I wont be able to play or make an account and will remember it's because I don't have required ID to play there.

5 Minutes after opening an account and instantly self excluding on it, I accidentally clicked the start live chat, chat window again and didnt notice. Posted the above here, closed this window and noticed the chat window still open.

This time it was Tony, he asked if I was the person who just asked about birth certificate.... I said yes and he tells me Michael made a mistake and they will actually accept Birth Certificate as identification ("My apologies for the incorrect information we gave you, we can accept birth certificate as a valid form of ID")... Too late now *Facepalm*

Why is it too late?

Just PM Ben and tell him the situation. I am sure he will re-open the account on that basis.

Will never pay to get a passport

Your choice, but if you get caught out and lose your winnings, you only have yourself to blame. IMO, the investment is well worth it if you're going to be a regular player, but that's just me.

We have sorted the situation out. I'll reply to you nifty in a bit, since I have to pop out... cant believe what just happened.

Deposited $60

Played girls with guns.

1st spin = bonus round (0.60c a spin)

Bonus round win $100 :D (155x)

withdrawing nearly $160

Well missed the bus so can reply to Nifty now.

The thing with the passport. It's not as simple as getting 1. You need people to countersign it, I dont know anyone at all. It would cost £75 for the passport, £20+ in travel fees to interview place and cash for the passport photos.

The process could take a month or 2 to complete. When theres no point me taking all that time to do that when I want to play at a casino right away, plus a lot of casino's will already accept my birth cert and what I already can provide.

Quick update.

In just 2 hours withdrawal was processed.

Didnt like the 3 buck fee but as people have said, its superfast payment to card. We shall see....

cant say i approve of you moaning about the 3 bucks i would rather pay 3 bucks for a fast withdrawal than sit & wait hoping that its going to be fast , normal time span for this casino is in under 2 hours thats fast . anyway moving on to your id point at least they helped you & sorted it out for you , so kudos for the team , im aware its hard with photo id

Im not debating this (or moaning since I knew of the $3 fee before I even deposited).... read it properly.

Processing time doesnt matter. Bet-at processes in 4 hours without any fee. They were aslo fine with birth cert and I have played there for quite some time with birth cert.

My point was paying $3 isnt relevant on weather they process your withdrawal on the spot or in 2 weeks time. Its dependant on the processor they use and weather that $3 charge pays for faster processing to my bank.

Now its been processed, it all depends when I get that money hitting the bank to see if its worth the $3 fee. If I dont see money in my bank faster than other casinos who have no fee then it's simple as, the fee has gone into their back pocket.

Look at paypal, now they do instant free withdrawals that his a bank in seconds but previously you could go for a free withdrawal which will take 5 days to hit your bank or pay £5 for a fast withdrawal which will hit your bank in about 1 day.

If the $3 went towards faster withdrawals (So I saw my money within 2 days of it being processed) then fair enough, if it still takes the same amount of time to hit my bank as it does at other reputable casinos (around 5 working days) then it's a ripoff.

we will see what happens but as always. im not afraid to broadcast my findings,

Yes, I see your point, and they would be no quicker than a non-charging casino who process in hours. They are however, a new casino, and have obviously invested heavily to get it off the ground and are maybe not in a position yet to absorb the costs. If you take into account the weekly freespins chucked at you in instantly withdrawable cash once you've played them, then it's a different picture. I paid Guts about 7 fees when I was there, but one day cashed out over 40 quid from gains from a freespins award, so actually finished up on the fees.....

When casinos grow like any business they can strike a better deal with their processors to lower the fees or even remove them.

Ahhh my mistake, thats fair then if theres weekly freespins and ways to counteract it like this. Didnt realise they gave out free spins etc.

Im new to gut's but I do like what I see so far (minus the starting hiccup which was down to a misunderstanding by support). Only time will tell.

Still surprised at my earlier luck. 1 spin until bonus round :O so didnt really have a good chance to play there.

The 1 thing is bet-at are also the same sort of new casino, but no charges, alas, as I mention we will just have to see

Just to update about the $3 fee... (regarding my first withdrawal)

19th August at 12:03PM I requested the withdrawal. I think it was 2 hours or so later it was processed.
Today (well early hours of morning) it hit my bank around 1AM.

Im fine with the $3 fee now. Only took around 37 hours from the moment I hit withdrawal for the cash to arrive in my bank :D.

Although... With fees is it something like $3 minimum fee and a % of the withdrawal total?? Since my 1st withdrawal was just a $3 fee and my latest withdrawal for just over $200 (earlier today) showed as $3 for card withdrawal and on the last screen it said $3.33 was the fee? (Not moaning over 33 cents by the way)

It seems the currency conversion with your payment processor is good too...

XE says the conversion rate of first withdrawal would be £95.76 and in the bank is £95.47. Spot on!!!!

Strange then if withdrawal fees go up every time. 1st Withdrawal was $3 fee, second $3.33 and 3rd $3.34 even though each time until the final screen it showed fees as just being $3

Are there any currency exchange being done with your withdrawal then? Or do you get paid in USD/$?

Nope nothing like that, My account is set to USD and I cash out USD, but the currency is converted by the payment processor or my bank.

Saying that, I think its down to the payment processor as some casinos have paid me in USD and it's hit the bank with £10 or more short of XE's rates, Whereas at guts it's basically spot on

When you say your account, do you mean your Guts account?

If your bank account is in SEK (as an example), it would be Guts(USD)-> Payment processor (USD) -> Your bank (converted to SEK).
So the last step would most likely include a fee for currency exchange by your bank?

yea, my guts account is USD, but bank is GBP.

Nah it wouldnt be a fee because theres an extra step:

Withdrawal>fee's came up and were paid>Guts approved withdrawal>In hands of payment processors (they choose weather to convert to GBP or just pay it in dollars?)

Before it even touched the payment processor the fee was paid to them. If it was a conversion fee, it doesnt make sense

Cant remember exact figures but its something like:

$200 withdrawal: $3 fee
$150 withdrawal: $3.33 fee
$105 withdrawal: $3.34 fee

My guess is if it was currency conversion, shouldnt it mean the higher amount to convert would have a higher fee?

I don't have any clue of how Guts may calculate their fees. And though I only have one withdrawal with them I went to check the numbers out, and all my activity (Guts <> Bank account) is in NOK.

I withdrew 14.000 NOK/1719,75€, when it hit my bank I got exactly 13.980 NOK, or 1717,29€ - So the fee was 2,46€, and so the numbers were correct for me on my first withdrawal (I see that your 200$ withdrawal had the correct fee deducted aswell).

Maybe Ben have something to add? Dunno if he's back in office yet.

Definitely a huge thumbs up for Guts. I made my second deposit last night and played for hours. That's the longest playtime I've had in probably 2 years. Made a withdrawal for $175 and had it when I woke up this morning. Only problem I have is that since I made my deposits with Ukash, I had to withdraw the same way instead of to my Skrill account which would have been my preference if I had the choice. I can't split the voucher, so now I have to make a deposit into one casino for the whole amount. Kinda scary for me since I'm a $20-25 depositor at the most lol. Still really really pleased with them. Keep up the amazing job CHEERS :thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's interesting. I've made a couple of Ukash deposits at Guts, and I thought I would be able withdraw to Skrill. Of course I should have asked. I guess your option is to re-deposit at another casino that supports Ukash in and Skrill out.

When it comes to actually getting your hands on money, what are you going to do with a voucher?

Perhaps you could comment on this Ben?

Thanks!

Yeah I was surprised but I'll hang on see what Ben says. Maybe if I re-deposit the voucher, and of course play some hehehe, they can manually send it to Skrill next time. I've had that done for me before at...I think it was Stan James but not certain so don't quote me on that lol

Hi Everyone,

I am kind of back online now and will be back 100% Tuesday. I need to check with Tony our payments guru as I am not 100% sure the policy with UKash. I know that the voucher out thing is new so I am guessing (not 100% sure) that security is taking the same approach as they do with Credit Card withdrawals and the amount withdrawn must be initially the same as the amount deposited via that method and anything over can be withdrawn to another method.

Although, if that is the case I need to get this changed as I cannot see the use of getting loads of UKash vouchers that cannot really be spent.

I will get back to you guys ASAP.

Thanks,

Ben

The withdrawal fee has been setup at €2.50 across the board so when the withdrawal is processed the fee is converted to the players currency via the XE rate at that time.

Sorry for the late reply on this one.

Cheers,

Ben

Thanks for the feedback Ben. You're right. It's very frustrating to have it but not be able to use it really. At least not as I see fit to use it. I still haven't used it yet since it's such a huge deposit but I do appreciate the speed of your customer service and payouts. Huge advantage in today's online gaming market. CHEERS

Converted fan of Guts!

I don't post often however in the case of Guts I must say I have many reasons to do so and give many kudos! I had a fantastic session on Guts over the weekend and the most amazing part is I started with less than $1 won from some free spins given last week. Had a win on Agent Jane Blond for around $27 and then went over to Break da Bank Again, where I had previously had a good win on the last session, still showing on my screen. So, I reduced my bet to 9cts. to try to keep my balance going and hit $378.85 on the first round which gave me a bonus round on my first spin!

I will post some more shots on Winner's Screenshots but bottom line is I went from something like 96 cents to a number of cashouts totaling $2150 this weekend! It's been a real long time since I have had a great run like that and although I have read others have, I have personally never had that kind of experience when starting from less than $1!!

Thanks Ben and Guts.com!!!!! I started off a little slow but since continuing my play there and as a result of your excellent service, you have earned your place into now being my most favourite place to play!!
