Question guts.com copies of bank cards

Hi all

I have made a withdrawal at guts and have been asked for the usual docs, front and back of bank cards, Id etc.

One of cards on the account has been cut up, so impossible to photograph. I had an older pic of a previous card with the same account number which I sent in.

Wondering if u have any advice, the account at the bank isn't closed, but I decided to cut the card up as I've just finally cleared my overdraft!! It will be closed soon though!

If there is an issue, you can always get a new card issued from your bank and cut it up again

My advice is a bit like closing the Gate after the horse has bolted but will come in handy in the future, especially if your a 'casino regular'

The moment I have a new card arrive, (before I even use it!) I take a photo of it and save to a password protected folder on my desktop, which holds all the ID docs I will ever need to 'satisfy' a casinos KYC checks.

I do this every now and again with a utility bill too, just so I've always got one to hand without tearing the house apart which is 'No older than 3 months'

Makes those headachy days seem like a distant memory

Did you keep the bits and pieces of this cut card? If this is the case, you could try and puzzle it back together for a photo and explaining the situation to the casino.
