Gone are the days you could win

I suppose that's the answer I expected.

I guess the takeaway from this is even when they say a machine has been independently audited it doesn't guarantee the machine is fair or operating as intended. That's quite an unpleasant thought :-(

Accidents happen no matter what... There we certainly no malice and this is exactly why RTP monitors exist which caught it within 2 days... So all the measures used to catch these things worked...

I've been playing online since 2013.

I don't expect to win long term because the house has the edge, of course. I DO expect to get some decent entertainment and game time for my money - and of course an occasional mega big win!

Sadly it's becoming less fun, the new style of filth (e.g. Jungle Spirit), and terrible paytables (e.g. Forbidden Throne) even on low volatility games makes me want to go and do something better instead. I'm down to 2 deposits a month now, I could afford a bit more but slowly losing interest, sad to say.

Yoh could always play the html version of lights. It will keep you interested every 3-6 spins where you are one reel away from multiple 5oaks, as long as you enjoy that kind of buzz.. and you can enjoy this frustration for as little as 0.09p per spin!

That isn't correct though is it.

The internal IGT testing cycle.....failed.
The independent 3rd party audit.....failed.

Seemingly the issue was discovered only after observing RTP drift which happened over a very short period of time. Because of the short timeframe I assume it must have been pretty bad and not just a few percentage points.

Regardless of root cause - the fact these defects get through multiple levels of testing means it's more than just an accident and instead highlights failures and shortcomings in the entire testing / verification process.

Your missing the point...

The reason RTP monitors exist is to catch bugs that make it out in to the wider field. So my point is that the safeguards we as an industry employ worked... Now granted it was one you hope you never have to rely on, but we aren't the first and certainly wont be the last manufacturer / developer to suffer an RTP issue in a live game.

There are some bugs - such as concurrent user bugs, or bugs which are extremely rare and only happen under very bizarre circumstances - which get through tests, no matter how rigorous. Of course when these are found then the testing regime is modified to take these in to account but, as with every single product test in the world, it is not always possible to think of every single possible eventuality.

And I thought it was just me....
Ever since Netent made colourful adjustments to their old school slots I've stayed clear from that provider.
Play tech have removed their marvel slots and replaced them with similar but even shitter ones.
Playngo are just one hit wonders but mainly shit.
The only ones I would rate highly are the best 2 providers in the business, WMS and Microgaming.
Big shout out to RedTiger gaming though as they aren't doing a bad job of gate crashing the scene.

Well, It is finally good to see that I was not losing my mind.I have been posting on here since the 1st of the year about the way the games have been acting. RTG unfortunately BUT still slot's online.

I've been playing online since the start, and I feel it too.But with all of the changes everywhere. And the fact that I had over 50 win's in just over 3 month's before the 1st of the year. This is above average and I feel that it may have been a bit too much.
But I look at the fact that I have NOT had a substantial win since Jan.1,2017 It bother's me ,but I have been at this long enough to see what is happening.

Every 7 to 10 year's there is a huge mix up in the biz. By that I mean the owner's change and the games change also.Fixed NO but tickled MAYBE? This is a biz of money and when it comes to money anything is possible?

Who out there is going to say that they have never felt that sting that goes with a really really bad week,or month,or year? Odd's are suppose to be random? But it just does not seem that way as of late.

When you play consistently you are playing the odd's,and the play should remain close to the same. But the loss's I have had are NO where near that.I hate to say this but it is one of those time's where we the player's are going to be hurt the most. Lot's of new owner's and new casino group's. And stranger's,lot's and lot's of stranger's.Owning these casino's and group's.

Some are not so new to the biz but they are known.Gambling is good usually when the owner's are straight-up business people who have a good name and desire to keep it that way. But there are also the ones who really don't give a damn about anything. But making a quick buck at any one's expense.

There lies the problem's with the loss's.There also may lie the game change's?Who know's for sure?
Maybe a few of us who are observant and pay attention to the little thing's.

I have had to make adjustment's to my play.Mainly at brick and mortar casino's as of late and still doing fairly well.I still play online, but I'am not willing to play the game that these new stranger's are showing us.I will win online again and win BIG. No doubt here. Luck to us all.Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff
