Hello, this will be my last thread on here but for the sake of my sanity i have to get this out. I truly feel that the casino industry has changed from a couple of years back when i used to deposit and then- maybe lose, maybe win, but almost always i would get playtime. And have long session and hit something every now and then.
I dont know about you guys but my last 14 months have been utterly disasterous, losing close to 80K playing around 0,5-3€ bets. RARELY 5€ bets. And the slots have felt like piggybanks where you throw your money in but cant get it out. EVER.

I dont even know where to begin with how disasterous runs ive had but the end result is pretty clear. This is it for me. Done with this sort of life.
Im not here to just rant though, I do have a question for people who have been playing for a longer time, do you feel any change in slots in recent years?
And i dont mean to sound tinfoily but it's a simple fact that years prior i never lost huge amounts of money even though i played like crazy, because the rtp didnt use to be 50-70% it was 95%.

And sorry for the long post, i doubt many of you will skip it but I HAD to get it out. Thanks.

There will be many on here that will agree and there will be many that won't!

I for one have been playing online since 2003. During this time I've seen lots of things come and go, casinos, slots, promotions etc etc etc.

I have also gained a LOT of experience and also (wish I hadn't) noticed various "patterns" in these so called 'random' slots.

Do I think its rigged? - No

Do I think things have changed (whatever 'they' maybe)? - Yes

Do I think the industry is less player friendly these days? (Particularly towards low rollers) - Yes Indeed!

Will I continue to deposit and Play? - For Now!

Will there be many more players feeling this way and creating threads such as this one ?(excluding me) - For sure!

I did try a slot in fun mode for a day and went from 1,000 to 2,000,000 (autospin). Next day down 2,000,000. I did it again and again. It is strange how it can go up 2 million so many times, if everything is random.
Of course it is only one slot. Vs has almost 2,000 slots. There are like 200 developers. Plenty of things to try.

Other than that, you have to do what is best for you. If it is becoming a problem you need to get help. Best of luck.

Bit like politics, everyone will have their own opinions and disagreements! I for one tend to disagree as I have been regularly playing for last 6 or 7 years and the last 7 months have been the best ever for me. With the help of some established/accredited establishments here, I am now debt free and have savings!

Unfortunately for every winner, there has to be a loser otherwise the casino will cease to operate. Yes, no doubt I had subsidized winners and casinos for 6 years, but lately I cannot grumble!

Well the last few months have been especially bad for slots I feel, trusted games have forsaken me big time. To make matters worse, providers are either pulling their best games or butchering them, taking the fun right out of it.

It's a case of losing 2/3rds of my balance before getting a bonus nowadays, and 250 - 300 spins between features has become 'the norm'.

Gone ten days now without depositing as it's become an exercise in futility with slots....they're nothing like when I started about five years ago, and I have a hard time believing they haven't been gimped in some form.

Best part is, I don't even miss them at all. I'll just stick to once a month from now on, not to mention I always seem to have money around now. It's a strange feeling, that :what:

But the last 7 months or so have been horrendous. Wait....

Richy you b*stard!!

Tomorrow he should change his avatar to the result. 10x.

I find all these new slots coming out to be money taking garbage. And I find MG new slots to be pieces of blood sucking vile trash.

Ive lowered my bets for the most part now. After losing 5k last month on VS on not even big bets, it scared me enough slow it down and pay attention more. Aside from falling asleep playing tsII last night. haha

I am relatively new to slots but when even I notice a difference. I used to get 'play time' and didn't mind losing but now the slots, well the ones I play, seem to drip feed you until all that you have deposited has gone. I can't even seem to hit features and when I do, they are peanuts. I am seriously considering giving up slots for good, fed up of seeing dead spin after dead spin, so much so I have become bored.

pretty much how i feel about slots.

Just in this month ive had 7 cashouts, and waiting for 2 more - out of 19 deposits (?!?). Mind you 2 of those deposits were 11 and 12 euros WITHOUT bonus and both times i managed to cashout $100+.

I could have cashed another 2 times but greed got best of me but regardless, it doesnt change how i feel about current state of slots though. Ttoday i also managed to wager 2 bonuses i dont usually even consider taking (35x & 30x) (d+b) just because im doing so fine lately. And i managed to complete both bonuses. Only cashed one but it doesnt matter really, last month i couldnt go past 10% wagering anywhere so it really feels like im playing different game now. I know its all tinfoilhat territory but i dont really care anymore.

can you still win? obviously, but more i play more im sure how certain things work. Every spin being random and slots not being cyclical... beings, is something im not buying anymore.

some half a year ago i got 4 back to back features on Terminator 2. Its same slot ive gone 710 spins without bonus. And yesterday i got 5 features in 7 spins. Now i know its all random, but im almost 100% positive odds of something like that happening are lower than me winning a jackpot, of any sorts. And after so many years im yet to win a jackpot :D

In past month i didnt have a single cashout. Its always like that for me... one month my biggest problem is trying to figure out how much and when should i cashout (?!) and then we have a few months where i cant get ahead for the life of me.

but one thing i always do, when im on a downswing i cashout whatever i have at that moment on my Skrill account and stop playing for a few days. Even if its just $40, if you are on tilt its very likely $40 you are going to lose, one way or another so taking a few days/weeks long break is what usually works for me.

I would have to agree that something has changed. I noticed some new games that are released are just clones of other older games. Payouts on base games are horrible, and I am starting to feel like it just isn't worth it to play some slots. Last month I did manage a cashout from Vegas Crest Casino. But in all honesty, that screenshot I posted is like a 1 in a million hit. It has been down hill ever since.

I know that Vegas Crest Casino has changed the way Alkemor's Tower plays just within a few weeks, because the reels would spin at the same pace, now when you get 2 scatter symbols(books) on reel 1 and 2 the 3rd reel spins like a bat out of hell and good luck getting any other scatter symbol on that reel. Played that game for quite some time and never got a feature. So I emailed my VIP host and asked how many spins I had on that slot and how many spins were winning spins. So he emails me back and stated:You spun the reels 461 times of which 93 resulted in winnings.

So next night I make another deposit, play a game by Rival called Ice Picks, this slot I had gotten a few features that paid 0. Every time I had gotten the free spins bonus it paid 0. I never got the Find the Ice Pick feature. So I emailed them again to see how many spins I had and his reply:1009 Wagers 348 Winning 660 losing Now mind you I do count spins and it was 148 spins before I got my first feature.

I made another deposit a day or 2 later and played a game called Tipsy Tourist. This game has 2 features free spins and another one. I had over 400 spins without getting either feature.

Then I played Rooks Revenge, had over 500 spins without getting a feature. So, again I emailed my VIP Host to see exactly how many spins I had. I was told I had actually had 575 spins and 400 were losing spins. At that point I said I had enough.

Could it be just a ban run? Yes, but I do feel something has changed since I started playing on line that is why I will take my money and go to the B&M casino 20 minutes away when I want to gamble now. Not saying my luck will be better but I have a better gut feeling about playing there.

Could it be that there is actually a overall rtp for each player hehe?? you cant start thinking that i know it should be impossible but who knows. Just when i have been to denmark on visit i always win crazy big at Sky Vegas and at home not so much (what i mean playing on a different ip address). But also could be that us slots player we tend to stick with mostly the same slots.

We might think or say i know i should not play this slot again but do it.

Also we might not actually think so much about it, but we get a nice win on a slot we don't normally play, then move to and regular one and blow it.

I have actually had some decent big wins but on slots i dont normally play. But my overall this year is loss loss loss and no withdrawals apart from start of January when i went to Denmark. I don't want this thread to turn into another discussion about if slots are rigged etc. But you cant help thinking something is not right. Or simply had most slots actually been paying out overall over the 100% and now its time to take it back??

Also had email today from Casumo SHOCKING I think i already read about this last month where Videoslots gave players back?? >

One of our third party game providers, IGT, made a software upgrade in late February and this interfered with the set RTP (Return to Player) for some of their games; the fault persisted for around 2 days. You were one of the unlucky ones affected. We have taken it upon ourselves to make sure that your Casumo account has been fully compensated for the funds you lost due to the game malfunctions caused by IGT.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this mishap. If you have any further questions, you can get in touch with our ambassadors and they will reach out to IGT to clarify further if needed. Kindly note that the relevant regulators have also been informed about this incident.

It just makes u think. I dont believe any of the accredited casinos are fixing things or doing anything wrong. I seriously think fishy things are going on with some of the software providers. AND how would we actually now everything is 100% legit we wouldn't and no way the regulators can check it all the time 100%.

But end of the day its a "gamble" most play to have fun(win money) and thats how it is. Anything we put in should be seen as lost. I do hate people who makes threads or starts screaming OH I LOST £1000 at videoslots they are a rigged Casino. NO THEY ARE NOT if anything is rigged then its the slots which are hosted by the software providers !! (ps you can lose at any casino and you can just as well win). :p:eek::cool:

I have only been online slotting with any conviction for a few years and over all I would guess that I am down. However, since the beginning of the year online slots have funded me very nicely. Some Casino's never change though and no matter how often I deposit I can never win there.
Now I like to think that I have became canny with where I play, what deals and bonuses to except/reject and just as importantly when to withdraw or walk away.
But I have thought that in the past only to embark on a bastard of a bad run

Monnii - the RTP isn't 50-70%... it's nearly always 95% or above. Check the rules first before you play. My guess is you are playing higher volatility slots than you used to, which of course means a wilder ride... but games providers don't (and shortly won't even be allowed to under new UKGC rules) provide different RTP at different bet sizes, so whether you're better high or low you will get the same TRTP

Daft question here - but have you ever considered the way you play might have changed, rather than the games?
Bigger bets - different "cash out" values that you will take - different volatility of games played, etc..

Everyone is so quick to blame the games... but sometimes we are to blame

To answer both the points in bold...

Each player does have an RTP - it's the combination of the RTP's of all the games they have played... simples :)

So why do you think fishy things are going on with the software providers? Firstly, RTP monitoring is a legal requirement of all UKGC licenced software providers, so any under or over-payments are found. Underpayments MUST be notified to the UKGC as they are seen to be to the disadvantage of players (over-payments don't have to be). IGT (and the casinos) noticed the problem and pulled the game as soon as it did so - so quite why you think this is fishy is beyond me. Unfortunately, the fault was something that could not have been picked up during testing, or homologation - but i can tell you that the cause of it will now be tested for in all future IGT games.

players nationality affects the players value to the casino, meaning the less valuable will get smaller or less frequent bonuses, and the higher value players will be bombarded more often, so if Casino can put a value on a player I'm sure this will affect things. There's a lot of money to be earned and to be given away, and with any such business in a capitalist society there needs to be processes in place to foresee each month's profit for budget requirements, etc. And then there's that rumour that Scandinavian players win jackpots more often......
