Hi all,

I was playing the Game of Champions on Unibet (win 25k if you have all 6 questions correct) and had the following results:



Just to clarify, my answer was: "between minutes 0 and 14:59" and the correct answer is "between minutes 15:00 - 29:59". Frustrated as I was, I wanted to double check when the goal was scored exactly. To my surprise, the goal was scored at 14:39



I was under the impression that I fall in the bracket of 0-14:59 when the goal is scored at 14:39. So I contacted support and 3 different CS agents confirmed this at one stage of the chat:

Chat 1:

My question to you guys, should I have been added to the winners list with my guess of 0-14:59? I was honestly under the impression that 0-14:59 meant that if a goal would be scored in this time frame, the answer would be correct.

And even if the goal is officially scored in the 15th minute (since 0-1 is the first minute, 7-8 the eight minute etc). Is it not very unclear with a 0-14:59 bracket? It must be as the CS agents struggle a lot with the promotion as well. In addition, nothing related to this question is specified in the terms.

Would love some opinions on this

Think their just in shock anyone could pull off 6 answers like that. Fair play. Easy day in court for any solicitor. Fight it until you get your money.

This appears to be rank dishonesty on their part. The timing of the goal is a matter of fact that could easily be verified with the CL and/or the broadcasters.

Even if their terms and conditions say all decisions are final - there is no way that a court would look at this in the same way as their support team. I would recommend a call to BBC Watchdog and ask for a researcher to look at this. Given the recent court case over the "faulty" slot and the £2m award, I would imagine that they might take them on for you. The general public would see this as the company attempting to cheat you.

Unibet spend fortunes on UK TV adverts and a spot on Watchdog could quite rightly trash their reputation if they did not treat you fairly.

I used BBC Watchdog in a dispute with Cassava Enterprises (888) and they totally ignored me and took weeks to answer emails etc. The day after BBC Watchdog called them they had obviously shat themselves and they called me personally to sort everything out. This was for a sum of money way below this.

If that's the case I stand corrected, but didn't he say in his first post he answered 0 - 14.59? I don't use unibet

Please see the email they sent me yesterday after the chat, as well as several confirmations (I have the transcripts). Because we were even looking at the official UEFA website (which according to the terms & conditions they follow).

I am completely lost here, since now I am not even sure if I answered 0 -14:59, or 15:00 - 29:59. I filled the answers in fast and by the looks of it, my pick was that the goal would be scored between 15:00 - 29:59. The confusing part is that they kept saying to me in chat and mail (see email) that my answer was between 0 - 14:59 and that the correct answer was between 15:00 - 29:59. But let's say this is my answer, then they confirm in all the communication that my answer was correct (if it is between 15:00 - 29:59). So it should have been settled as correct.

Thank you for tagging people of Unibet @colinsunderland, since I have a few questions I would like to see answered:

-Can you please tell me what my answer on the question was (as I am completely lost)? As according to people in this thread my answer was between 15:00 - 29:59, but the CS agents kept going back and forth and came several times to the conclusion that the "relevant department" confirmed (I have this in several transcripts with several agents) that my answer was between 0-14:59 (see part of chats and email in this thread). By them mentioning it so many times, I could only think that this was my answer.

-If (as stated in the chats and email), the correct answer is between 15:00 - 29:59, and this was the answer I gave (even after being told all the time that it wasn't), should my selection then not be settled as correct?

-According to the terms of the promotion: "Results will be taken from the official UEFA site".

This is probably where your relevant department went with (however this still doesn't clarify why I'm all the time (in official communication) told that my answer was between 0 - 14:59). I can understand that this means it falls between "minutes 15:00 - minutes 29:59", as the 14th til the 15th minute is the 15th minute according to the UEFA. So this is constantly communicated as the correct result, while my (supposively) answer was between 0 - 14:59.
