I am posting this here because I feel my government caused what I see now is official that English Harbor is closing as of August 1st, and the oh so mighty US in my opinion is the reason.
Billions of dollars are spent on state lottery's and we voted for them, to help schools. Yet our teachers are still under paid and schools are closing left and right Were is all that money going?
:mad:It really pisses me off that my government keeps wanting to tell me what I can and can not do with my life. It's my freakin money I'll spend it any gawd darn way I want to.

Anyways thank you for letting me vent.

For a sec thar I thought you were from my neck of the woods....

I think in time we will be back on our online gambling feet in America.

Hey SPADEAHOLIC nice to see ya. Sorry you're so bummed and burned by all this crap as most of us Americans here are. I for one and I'm sure there are plenty others who have been doing everything we know of to let Washington know how we feel about it and I mean I've called, faxed, emailed, written letters, donated and honestly it felt most of the time like no one was listening or even gave a damn. Then in one fell swoop the s.o.b.'s do a slam dunk and we're all but done. Meanwhile, as a final flip off to players, they allow online gambling in D.C. Isn't that nice for them.

Although I've never played there myself (and so I'm unaffected), I still feel compelled to say that it is really really sad isn't it? :(
How many more will go down?

Actually, it's here:

Thanks - hardly the type of corporate public announcement one would expect from such a long-established group

With the UK site apparently still in full operation this is clearly another casualty of the US situation as opposed to a full corporate shutdown; I'm surprised that EH would not want to make that publicly clear.

I hate that casinos never seem to just come out and state clearly WTF is going on. We are not children... well most of us... LOL But the player is always the last to know and that is a really crappy way to to do business, IMHO.

I decided to email E.H. and ask if there would be an 'official notice' of closure or was this it and I got this back a couple days ago.

"Dear L,

No Email from EH

They never responded to my emails with proof attached of the $12.00 they owed for the "bounced check" fee I was charged when their bank returned their check NSF.

It did go through the 2nd time and they said to send email with attachment to be reimbursed the fee. They confirmed the check bounced but never paid me.

It not the amount, it is the principle.

Jerks

It's not, just checked and seen the same closure announcement on the .uk site. It seems they have gone completely. Maybe they will sell the software to another operator as Wizard Gaming did when they found they couldn't stay in the market.

The other EH thread seems finished so again what about the progressives? Does EH or Vegas Tech just keep it all? That's what I should have asked them. duh...
Think I will. :)

Crazy slots and Go Casino are still operating with Vegas Technology software..

yes they are still.... same software...and only for players from USA...
I am not sure if you players from can download and register anymore? Let me know if - or not.
But I have bookmarked the links for download and registering...so you can play. so just ask me:)
