Dream Run at acredited casino Intertops

Right, so the software provider has a catastrophic error in one of its slots, so HIGHIQ pays for them finding that out? He's done them a favour in the end. As for the Dutch IRS, your statement about HIGHIQ's taxes is totally without foundation and assumptive.

As for the screenshots, you are correct but think about it - if YOU had a 'system' would you give it away to all and sundry on CM?
A casino can only have 'exploiters' if they are careless enough to have something to exploit - whether that be over-generous EV+ bonuses or in this case, lunatic software from RTG.

I pretty much agree with you, i have no idea how the contracts between the casino and RTG work. But i would be pretty pissed if i were Intertops having been sold broken software that damages my reputation.
I have no idea if they could have made RTG pay the player for their own incompetence or if it is solely the casinos risk.

I wouldn't call this a game malfunction as such, to me that implies that the game is working correctly to begin with and then something goes wrong later, here we are talking about a design oversight which left the game open to exploitation.
And even when being made aware that the game didn't work properly they still didn't take it down. Sure legally they are probably in the clear, but it doesn't instill confidence in the people playing their software.

This case should be a warning to everyone playing RTG, stay away from new games unless you are willing to be a paying beta tester.

I think you are losing the meaning here in translation - I know the games aren't the same, I refer to the principle....

The principle is the same, but only when it comes to land based AWPs. I think that's you're trying to say, yes?

With the land based games, you CAN actually gain an advantage via certain methods such as "tells" and patient observation of others etc. Unfortunately, there is NO way to gain an advantage with their online cousins.

The only way that an online AWP could be beaten is if it was possible to know when a megastreak was going to hit I.e. open up a game, look at the reel positions/play a spin or two/etc and a) going for the jugular if it's ready or b)moving on if it's not. To date, nobody has even come close to being able to do this.

As I said, pumping credits into an AWP until it pays every time you play it produces NO advantage whatsoever. Even if you DO happen to hit a megastreak, it is pure dumb luck and nothing else, as there's no way to actually force one to occur.....you might see it coming when it's about to hit, but you can't actually do anything other than press SPIN to trigger that event. In other words, unless you can actually trigger a megastreak consistently and regularly by employing a certain strategy the exploits a game bug, then you're subject to the same TRTP as everyone else and will lose in the long term.

The online AWPs are as "beatable" as any other properly functioning slot....I.e. they're not.

After reading this thread, all I really have to say is that personally I would appreciate it, if we don't go overboard, wanting to help ANY tax people ripping anyone off, more than they already do
Thank you :D

( I do have many opinions about the obvious incompetence over at RTG, in some casinos etc., but I'll keep those to myself for now).

This thread took a huge turn, I have missed a lot around here due to personal reasons so if what I say has already been said I do apologise.

This is the 3rd game in 12 months that I can recall from RTG that has been released by either poor design or just not tested properly. It is almost time to give up on the software, which is a shame.

To me it seems RTG better be a little more diligent in testing their games before going live with them. Wasn't there a similar problem with the game "Dream Run?"

Yes, this was sent out in January 2013

Dear Players,

In regards to our new slot machine, Dream Run, there has been a game malfunction. As a result, the game has been temporarily removed by our software provider, RTG, in order to correct the error.

Dream Run is currently unavailable at all RTG Casinos, including ours. Because of the error, the potential for fraud is a concern, which is being investigated now.

We will keep you up to date as this progresses and hope to have the game back soon, as it is a fun, fast-paced slot machine.

Thank you for your understanding

But when it comes to RTG and their broken game, then i feel like RTG should be held accountable, this game clearly has not gone through proper testing.

This is not the first time this has happened.

This case should be a warning to everyone playing RTG, stay away from new games unless you are willing to be a paying beta tester.

This is the problem now for me, who's to say all the older games are working properly, either in the players or casinos favour their have been to many mistakes from RTG in the last 12 months.

Exactly my point.

If it's malfunctioning, it is quite possibly beatable. If not, then it is not.

Who says the game was malfunctioning though? RTG certainly didn't, they said it was working fine. This is more likely down to very poor game design in my eyes and I do not think incompetence can be drawn under the same conclusion as a malfunction.

I am not sticking up for HighIQ but someone needs to be accountable for these poorly designed, programmed and very flawed slots. This is not a once off issue for RTG.

This whole thing sucks.

RTG being lazy asses for releasing a faulty slot and then not even listening to the people who tell them that it doesn't work properly. Then HIGHIQ trying to exploit the thing and to cover it by playing other games and posting screenshots with an embelished story here.

Never had much respect for RTG to start with but I lost a lot of respect for HIGHIQ (I liked him, btw). Trying to exploit a hole in the game is one thing (I'm with dunover on this one) but lying by omission and manipulating CM is another. Too bad.

I guess it depends on one's definition of "malfunction".

Mine is "not functioning as intended" i.e. a software bug that caused it to pay contrary to design.

Even if the programming itself was sloppy, it still did not function as intended. The design may have been quite sound, but the implementation not so much. I agree that RTG should cop schtick for it...absolutely...just the same as HIGH(?)IQ should.

I have sympathy for neither party.

One example I won a free spin or bonus round forgive me but it has been almost a month. During that round it said I won 900 or so dollars -- it didn't credit it. Now I had surgery that day so I thought man these drugs are dam good. Until my husband laid down next to me and was watching me better ( because of blood pressure condition he was worried I was having some heart problems because of drugs). Well he noticed it said I won 400 and some and never credited it. Tried live chat was basically blown off.

I think this is a crucial piece of information.

I think the casinos running this defective slot should void BOTH all winnings and losses.
If they ONLY void winnings (or the most substantial winnings) and do not refund any losses it is highly unfair IMO.

I would also have a respectful suggestion/question: Could running a defective slot, in spite of being warned about the defect, and not voiding both winnings and losses be a reason for losing accreditation here at CM?
Perhaps such loss of accreditation could be a message for all the other accredited casinos and could perhaps also be a lesson for casinos to train their customer service to pay more attention to players claiming that there is a software error in one of their games.

I think RTG should really own some favour back to casino to fix some of slots problem. I am sure casino would be very much appreciated! RTG Please, please, please at least as an urgent, fix those some slots problem before situation is getting out of control. Its already is so far since last year or so. I have tested those slots from Slotocash but very lucky none of new one have performed any problem to me and the payout was sort of reliable like all other slots game. Perhaps slotocash did keep up to date as they can. But it would be so wise for some casino to pull out game if there is defective to it to avoid any further controversial problem. I hope its a lesson to be learnt for Casino and RTG that these mistake should never be repeated again ever.

Just reading all this..makes my eyes bleed really.:eek2:
So far for the proper testing (millions and millions of spins before the game goes live, yeah right )
of games, what a joke.
And what if the error/malfunktion works the other way?
Oh wait, in that case we're just having a bad run ofcourse.
No RTG casino will ever see a penny from me ever again, thats for sure.

Please all read this short thread:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/inetbet-eu-has-been-reviewed-and-scored.60107/

It explains the clitch and you can see that before christmas a player was not payed out.
I believe HIGHIQ read this thread and tried to make some benefit.
I now know that here are a lot of players who wants an avdantage over a casino just to win some money. I mean guaranteed money.
No problem, but please don`t tell us lies, don`t use the PAB service and please don`t cry about the fraud casinos if you are not better.

My problem is that I have to pay the price for all these fraudsters (bad bonus conditions etc.)

Sadly it seems that a lot of players are not better than the casinos in the rogue pit.
And that`s a real shame.

highiq started this thread on 24 dec. goa post was made on 23 dec. highiq said "i send the rep last night a pm .. saw he was here half hour ago.. but quickly left... with no reply..". he pulled this stunt on different casinos. time lapse is short. i think he discovered on his own.

"My problem is that I have to pay the price for all these fraudsters (bad bonus conditions etc.)"
i rarely to not at all take any bonuses. but when i specifically want to play with a bonus received by email, eastern europe is restricted. probably here is the highest percentage of abusers but i don't like how they put all in the same boat without exceptions. if i did 20+ deposits then let me use your bonus if you want to keep me. also, all those attractive welcome bonuses for new accounts are fantasy for me, most of them not giving even the free spins package let alone bonus money.

In eastern europe are a lot of fraudsters. But the homeland of bonus abuse is scandinavia. You can burn me now, but there is a german speaking forum where a danish bonus hunter told us how to get the best profit out of bonus play. Nothing against the rules, but not very ethical.
And that`s my point, the ethic of gaming.
Good casinos and good players will never have a problem. But if one of them wants to make an advantage then the problems starts.

Nobody would go to a landbased Casino and tries to fraud it, because they can see your face.
In Internet it is possible to have a lot of bad guys at the same time in your casino. You can read it in another thread about BETATCASINO.

Gagamel, you really need to make the distinction between fraudsters and advantage players. One is illegal, one is not. Advantage players simply try to make profit by using simple mathematics, the same as casinos use simple mathematics (house edge) to profit from us players. It's a game of cat-and-mouse as I said before. The casinos make offers, AP's try and beat them, and if they do with regularity the offers are amended or the bonuses get new terms added to them. And so it goes on.....

Well I was just checking my email. i just received one from Intertops.

I am pleased they reached out to me and said sorry and Thank You. However I wish it would have been before this whole mess started. Here is the email.

Good day, Michelle,

Happy New Year to you!

We would like to take this time to thank you for outlining some flaws in the new game, Orc Vs Elf. Our customer feedback is most important to us and we do take this seriously and act accordingly.

Our sincere apologies for not taking your feedback more seriously. Please be assured that we do review every customer game query and double-check with Real Time Gaming if we are unable to assist with the issue on our end.

As a goodwill gesture, I have credited $200 bonus in Casino Red (no restrictions) for you to enjoy a few games on the house.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further concerns as you patronage is very important to us and we would like to continue serving you in the future.

Best of luck and have a wonderful evening!

Kind Regards,

All I can say is they did notice me after the fact. I guess this is a step in the right direction. Maybe something good can come out of this crappy lesson.

The decent thing to do! Much better to give a WR free $200 bonus than paying out 100K:D

I think they should give a $200 free chip to every Intertops member who DIDN'T try to exploit the game...

Seriously, I'm very glad cpdnd31 that your diligence has been rewarded (finally)

nice one! you deserve that at least off them!

I guess all players that have been affecte by this after the casinos was noticed will have their losses returned, and that they will be compensated for time spent? RTG and the casinos affected should close their doors, and come back when they have learned how to run a casino properly.

:D:lolup:

I have to defend some of the casinos here, their software supplier told them that this slot machine was OK, tested and ready to go. They have to trust RTG. Many casinos have probably paid customers who won and didn't understand that something with the game was wrong.

BUT, as I have said already, when players warned casinos, they should have listened.

Great that Intertops emailed cpdnd31 afterwards and apologized, but they haven't explained here. Max did, Intertops are accredited here and they really should explain here. Maybe to late now.

This was never about money to me. I'm hoping they pulled the game looked at it and fixed it. All I ever wanted was for someone to look at the game. The Thank you and sorry was a nice to hear just for the fact I now know they read my statements and my concerns. Well I'm hoping they did.

I talked to a friend at 3 dice last night when I got the email and said I don't even want to play the money. She understood my reasoning however she knows me very well. I felt bad all the bullshit that could have been avoided wasn't. I felt bad others may have lost on that game and not even known it and here there giving me money. So I dumped the cash quick, I played slots, lost it quick, signed out of account and then took a shower.

I was tempted to play the game again to test it--- then I thought nope, not going near it. That's when I really felt the urge to shower and scrub. LOL

At least they reached out and noticed me and that the game had some issues. (but I guess when someone hits for 100k that can bring attention to it as well) :D

Last note to all RTG casinos - there are plenty of experienced slot players right here on CM. Why don't you ask us to test games before you put them out? Enzo does it. I'm sure you could save yourself a major headache that way. A slot player knows what to look for and loves playing a new game.

Here is hoping RTG has learned from this error for I know most of their customers have.

By the way did you see CW is promoting a new slot? :D

JMHO

What concerns me more than whether or not the game was malfunctioning and/or being exploited is that there is no independent oversight, if a player were to win over $100k on a slot in a Nevada Casino and the Casino then claimed the slot had malfunctioned the Nevada Gaming Commission could be called to independently verify whether or not the win was genuine, not the slots manufacturer.

Great idea! Or, as NetEnt do it, release the machine at ONE casino the first week.

Correct.

The only think I will say is....can you imagine how many players they have coming to them whining every day that the games aren't working properly and they're being "ripped off" etc etc etc?

I imagine it would sometimes be difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff.

I think it certainly shows that with this kind of complaint i.e. about a software error, it is far better to go straight to the rep here and forget about live chat or email CS.

I agree Nifty however I did pm a rep here never replied. I had screenshots and proof to back up my story. I know some people have in the past doctored screen shots but I even did a video. I know I am a nobody to them that's why I came here and contacted an affiliate friend.

This is the email I sent him: I with held his info for obvious reasons.

last night I played new game at tops was up to 1100. i noticed payouts of what game was saying and what i was getting were different. I thought i was just still high from surgery until Kevin noticed it. I was gonna video tape it this morning and the game is gone. I told live chat and sent pm thru cm to tops just to let them know. I don't even care about money. I figured I won money off broken game not fair to take money from broken game so I spent it. Fair is fair as I see it. but being that you know me you may want to let them know I'm not a crazy person and that if i noticed it there is a problem. LOL

See I tried everything to get noticed. I get it they have thousands of players, who the hell am I to question a game. I mean I'm just a customer who they thought lost and was pissed about it. But when there is a thread here and a pm to a rep, live chat and emails you think someone would have said "hey there is a crazy lady bugging the hell out of us some one talk to her" .

Well it's over now, they now know that if I ever say "look into this they' can trust me, I guess.

They said sorry and Thank you and everyone is aware of the situation so it may have took a month but at least they now know.

Correct.

Of course, but when at least two members from here sent Intertops rep messages about the defunct game they should at least responded.

At least the other reps responded to me with a "thanks for the heads up", the thing is that the "usual" member here are more used to slot play than most casinoworkers are. We can see things in new machines that many others can't. HIGHIQ saw things that RTG didn't see...:D

I believe they should fire all their software testers and development team.

ditto... IMO, as software engineer and DBA of 15 years, whoever tested that game must be fired.
to work for the casino, gambling business in general, and make such a baby mistakes is completely unacceptable. I was reading/watching this tread and did not participate for a while, but at this point, I think someone from the other side must be fired/ punished. No sympathy for the player who tried to take an advantage, but cmon RTG, were you in rush to publish this game?I could point at least 2 more problems with that game, but fortunately, i am not working for them :) I noticed bug in the very first day and was surprised the game was not pulled for so long.

As a goodwill gesture, I have credited $200 bonus in Casino Red (no restrictions) for you to enjoy a few games on the house.

It's a nice gesture but I think RTG should be the one paying you and that $200 should be more like $5000 paid directly to your bank account.

I guess it all depends though on who the first person to notice the exploit was. Companies such as Facebook and Google will pay out large amounts of money to anyone who finds a bug on their website. If these casino software providers are not going to properly test their games then they should at least over a reward for the first person to contact them regarding an exploit.

Although this expolit appears to have been obvious, a more subtle exploit could be discovered by only a few players and exploited to its full potential across many casinos. Since RTG and the likes offer no incentive to report these exploits, they can't complain when a player tries to take advatage of one.

Why does this situation seem to be over?

All players that played and lost because of the error should be compensated. I haven't played this game but if i read it correctly the game was going into the bonus round at the present stake level instead of an average stake.

HighIQ was just starting low and then going max for the bonus but if players were to start high and then enter the bonus on a lower stake then they were not playing at the correct stake level and so were losing money, RTG should not be accredited until this is sorted.

If they are not prepared to pay players that gained an advantage from this then they should compensate players that were dis-advantaged by this. They can't have it both ways and have basically stolen from losing players.

and if they does not do this thing, i think RTG should be marked as rogue operator.

I played the game quite a bit all at the same place. I just requested a full accounting of all my play on this game. I don't know that it will or will not show anything abnormal, but it will be interesting to see.
It's too bad you cant view the game info on line like I've seen with some other products.

Well to my pleasant surprise the game logs were in my e-mail first thing this morning. Thank you to CW for such a quick response to my request. I am impressed.
After review I found nothing abnormal. I did vary my bet amounts, but only AFTER, I triggered the bonus. I kept my bets the same throughout each run up to each bonus. I must have subconsciously known not to vary the bet in mid bonus play.

Do to the response of this thread, I thought maybe if we can get a RTG casino rep to answer some questions.

1. What is the proper thing to do if you feel a game is not working properly? I ask this to try and avoid future headaches for all.

2. What is RTG's procedure if they do find an error in game? Is it a play at your own risk? Refund? Is there a policy?

3. If there is a policy is it casino policy or actual RTG?

4. If you feel a game is not working properly and you contacted said casino. If after there response is there a way to contact RTG itself to have them look at the game?

Thank You in advance for you responses maybe it will help with the confusion about what has happened and how to deal with the situation.

Yes, pertinent questions, and ones I feel that will not have an answer forthcoming and be met with a wall of silence. They hope by not talking about it that the matter goes away and is soon forgotten. The fact remains that the whole affair is ****ing scandalous, and had it affected European/UK software would be similar to the Finsoft affair in magnitude. Unfortunately there is no ECOGRA or EU-based licensing authority available to intervene in the matter. Yes, not all Timbuktu-licensed joints are bad or untrustworthy, but here is a case of what won't happen when things go wrong...

my2cents

when i start to read the first sentence of the OP which he said the following:

"this is the result of two deposits that i sign up THROUGH CASINOMEISTER at Intertops...didnt took any bonusses"

and same time see his username in red as banned user and his big win of 100k,which gave me the idea something more is goin on.

so i start to read further and came with a restruction.

-OP wins alot money at an acredited casino. he is very happy and excited. he made a post and named some slots he played on where
he won from.

-he comfirms account has been verified and waits for his first payment.

-payments got delayed and he has been give the runaround, and start to update and complaining not being paid.

-then Max comes in offers him help by a PAB service. and not long after player he is acused of exploiting slot and mispresentation and
PAB abuse.

-another member being acused for letting him posting through his account.member banned too and lifted after help from other member.

OP asked around when he can do a PAB two members said he can do it right away.
so he did comfirm he filled the PAB form.

-misprestentation:

what OP repeatedly said is:
1) there is no bonus of any involved anymore after i won...
2) i played all the games within the limits and rules been offered
3) all the games i played it was designed and performed the way as it was described...

to me he comfirmed he didnt do any wrong and played within all rules that was allowed him.he named few slots he played on.
no confusing things to me here.

-PAB abuse:

what OP complained was he didnt got paid and gets worried and complained over and over about this acredited casino.

after looking the PAB form i can see a part he will be asked what the complaint is: that would be delayed pay and runaround.and i dont think that the OP would risk
PAB by abuse to lose 300.000 based on lies very unlikely as he is a long time member at casinomeister, that he knows the rules good enough to come up with trying to abuse it.

and what would he like to see to be done: i think he will say to receive his first payment. or the casino has to start to pay him.

based on this two pointers its unlikely the OP will get banned IMO.

then it brings me back to the first sentence OP said that he signed up through casinomeister and seeing the 100k balance.
i then come to the following reason that he will be banned

that this amount of 100k can bring the "CASINOMEISTERS AFFILIATE REVENUE" down to zero of the most important month of the year.
or even to a negative revenue.

Then he gets banned so this will never brought up by him and another member being banned so to make sure that OP will be shut his mouth to silence.
also wondering, what PABmeister Maxd said: Guys, from my POV the casinos have some shit on their faces here "too".

does that mean casinomeister has dirty hands into this and not help the player to save their own "paycheck"

just my thoughts. with all respect to casinomeister

does that mean casinomeister has dirty hands into this and not help the player to save their own "paycheck"

So basically, you accuse Casinomeister and maxd for voting with own pockets in this issue?

This really is a serious accusation!

So you basically call me a crook, suggest that Max is on the take, and that the member who was banned walks on water just because he has been a long time member, all in your first post. Brilliant.

With all due respect, you haven't bothered to read the thread and your opinion is about as worthless as a speck of dirt on a gnat's ass.

Bye troll - respectfully yours. :p

Are affiliates paid on a player-by-player basis, or an account balancing ALL players they've recruited? I.E. Player A wins a huge amount, so you earn nothing bar a sign-up fee, player B loses 10k so you get sign-up fee PLUS a proportion of his losses, separate to that of player A? Or are they calculated on a net-aggregate basis? Just out of interest.

Yes, net revenue of ALL recruited players on monthly basis. If the Revenue is 35%,this is the same for losses and wins for the affiliate. Honest affiliate programs do not carry the loss over to next month but some evil ones do.

I am not sure that Casinomeister page have exactly this deal, here casinos are paying to advertise and at smaller affiliate pages that is not the case.

I think...

Holy s**t
he came back to tell us all that Bryan and Max are a part of a conspiracy?
He is really not the HIGHIQ man he wants to be.
He is a LOWIQ type of human being, like Nifty said.

I don't think many affiliates get a "sign-up fee" - I know I don't!
(I guess the really big boys might though)

So you're saying that the Accredited groups Club World, Bet365 and iNetBet are not honest and are in fact, evil? :p
(They all have NCO).

It's the casinos who are accredited, not the affiliate programs. On AGD's Rogue list you can find several accredited casinos. Also, on their certified list you can find Rogue casinos. But you knew this KK! ;)

It's a bit harsh to call them 'evil' - it's a choice of a business model, that's all. No NCO's have other compensations like admin fees etc to make up the difference. A good affiliate should know the business model that suits him, or at least works. Programs who don't know how to make themselves profitable are the ones that will be skimming off the top in the end so it's in your interest to at least have a transparent cost structure shown upfront ;)
