I too recently had a bad experience with BreakAway...I won $3K, and got the same "we only pay out in installments..." BS also. I started emailing them, asking why they were insisting on no less than FIVE installments, of which I had to pay an enormous Western Union fee each time. They didn't respond. So, I kept sending the emails, asking why they couldn't just WAIT and pay me in ONE installment, so I would only have to pay ONE WU fee.
I totally understand that you are pissed because you getting paid in installments, but here is absolutely
NO reason for you to be mad at all! Basically you are raving at the same thing like the starter of this tread...
Breakaway, like sci-fi have clear payout rules what are clearly visible on there homepage and in
NO way hidden:

Withdrawals
For your online safety, BreakAway Casino requests you to fill and send via e-mail or fax (208-439-4988) the Security Form to make your withdrawal. These documents are one time only and subsequent withdrawals will be processed with no delays. Same day payouts are available weekdays for withdrawals under $500, when requested before 12pm ET. Same day payouts cannot exceed $2,000 per week. When withdrawing large sums of money, BreakAway Casino may opt to send your winnings in payments.
So, thats no BS thing like you are talking about, but just plain and simple rules! You know them when you take the time and read the banking page and should know that they stick to it. Thats no BS in my eyes, its just their way of doing biz. And that the honest way, telling you up front!
The casinos of this group are highly reputable, they pay, and you will get your money...
That you had to pay big fees for your western union withdrawels sucks, but you can't put the blame on them for that eighther... You are the one choosing the way you like to get your payments. Ok, they could come up with some more payout options and I'm shure they will, but for now they only got the ones what are also clearly stated on the banking page!
Why you're not trying out NETeller? OK, mybe you got your reasons not to do so, I don't know....
That the customer service is not responding to your mails could have several reasons, maybe they just don't have the time to explaine things what are visible to everyone on their banking page....
That they closed your account or you did loose your club status could have the reason that you maybe didn't find the right words in your mails... maybe you wrote them when you were hot, its always better to wait a day to calm down and and write then.
I don't know what happend there and why, but be shure that they will pay you all your money they owe you!
I only can repeat that this group is highly reputable! Many guys don't like the installment plan on higher winnings...
To say this straight out, without meaning to insult you or anyone else:
All about the installments and payout options is right there on their banking page, nothing hidden, you know about it before you even download the software! Eccept you don't take the time to read those pages, then you don't know about it, but stop putting the blame on honest casinos.
Many casinos could learn of Sci-fi and Breakaway in this case. They don't even try to hide this in the T&C's somewhere... NO, its there right on the banking page... for everyone to see! It's still your choice if you play there!
The main thing is:
IF YOU DON'T LIKE GETTING PAID IN INSTALLMENTS ON HIGHER WINNINGS THEN JUST DONT PLAY THERE!
You got no reason at all to call them a cheesy operation...
Good luck
