North Casino is another scam casino and the Kahwanwake gaming commission encourages it

I was a player at North Casino. I had a few cashouts. Then I won $5300 and thats when they outted themselves as a full out scam casino.

I woke up the next day after the winnings and the money was removed from my account and I got a message from the accounts department I breached the casino terms.

Here is the scam they pull to free roll players.

You cannot bet over 10% of your balance. If you do at anytime they will take all your winnings. But here is the catch. They apply this term retroactively. Which means If you deposited $200 and take a $200 bonus..once you get down to a few bucks..if you dont keep lowering your bet you end up breaching the terms. So if you are down to $1 and down lower you bet to 10 cents. You breach it. If you are down to 80 cents and you dont lower it to 8 cents, you breached it.

This happened to me on a prior deposit. So I lost my deposit and was trying to zero out my account. On my way to zeroing it out I obviously breached the terms. Ok no problem. Account is at zero. New start.

I redeposit. I do not breach a single term at all and wager $15,000 of bets.

The casino's response to taking my money "you broke terms on a prior bonus and we can take your winnings even if its a fresh new deposit and bonus" So they can actually steal your money a year later if you breached a term a year prior on a totally different deposit.

I then filed a complain with the Kahnwake gaming commission and guess who they sided with? The casino. I asked them straight up, why are you licensing a rogue casino and then defending them? Their answer "well its written in the terms". Here is the thing. I figured they wouldnt do this on fresh new deposits. Or at least there would be a conversation "you bet 10 cent and your balance was 80 cents. You broke terms and are bonus banned" Of course they didnt do that

There were no warnings from the casino. They kept sending me offers enticing me to deposit and waiting for me to either lose or win. Either way, i was never getting paid.

My advice to everyone is to avoid North Casino like the plague. If you see a casino licensed by Kahnwake Gaming Commission DO NOT PLAY THERE. I used to respect the kahnwake but its obv gone to trash.

I made this thread for when people search out this casino before depositing they can find it and avoid depositing and the bs that comes along with it.

It's sad, of course, when players gamble just anywhere. It reminds me of tourists playing the shell game near the Eiffel Tower — where the chances of winning are probably higher than here.

We’ve recently learned that they’ve now farmed-out their Complaints service. That’s a sad end to the greatness that Micki Oster and the senior KGC leaders of the day built nearly a decade ago. In fact it was exactly that that got Kahnawake out of the biggest doghouse the casino industry had ever seen to date.

I suspected things were not headed in the right direction when they quietly closed the door on the Complaints discussions we used to have. With Micki gone — RIP — that all evaporated fairly quickly and, judging from the reports we get from players, things have been deteriorating since. Here we are, roughly three years later, and I’m beginning to wonder if it isn’t time to stick a fork in Kahnawake and call them “done”.

Some readers may take that as being overly inflammatory but consider the facts:
  • they won’t police the unreasonable Terms of their licensees: see above.
  • they are no longer processing Complaints in house, fore-going one of the prime tools in maintaining fair and effective management over your licensees. All they say is "Complaints are received and reviewed by the Commission ... with the assistance of professional advisors."
  • as far as we can tell there is no certification process for those outside “professional advisors”, so they're now farming out their Complaints service to no-name ADRs? Why should anyone have trust or faith in them?
  • Also, this: "When submitting a complaint, please remember that it will jeopardize our ability to assist you if: … your complaint has been discussed on any public forum; you share information with the media.” How does having previously discussed your issue in public make it any less valid?
    • Here at Casinomeister we decline to be involved in an issue WHILE the player is discussing the issue in public because that makes the whole thing a moving target that is too exhausting to track in real time. But once the player’s participation in the public discussion is halted — at least until we’re done our work — the issue is fair game as far as we are concerned because the player’s grievance may be totally legitimate and we’d like to help if we can, or at least be informed about the casino’s behaviour so we can alert our readership accordingly.
I’m not saying (yet) that Kahnawake is off the “recommended” list but I am saying that the recent developments are pretty discouraging.

@lockinlove - so you've been scammed yet again? You seriously need to either pick another hobby, or take a lot more care about where you play.

Also why would you redeposit at a casino that just confiscated your winnings over terms that you didn't think were reasonable?

Great question!

I didnt redeposit in a casino that took my winnings.

I deposited twice because they were licensed by the Kahnwake gaming commission who always had a stellar reputation as Max has pointed out.

I was paid both times I played there.

The 2nd time I guess I breached the 10% rule when trying to zero out my account.... but ya I lost the deposit and bonus. There was no payout. There was no confiscation...until...The 3rd time, I won and then they stole my money saying I breached terms on my second deposit so they are taking my winnings even though I did not breach any terms on the third, fresh new deposit.

People have been screwed by accredited casinos here too. It happens, so your advice of "find another hobby and take more care" is pretty baseless.

Ive been scammed twice in 14 years. They just seemed to happen closer together. The crypto one was the only one I gave a try at and made a mistake.

Yeah sadly this is true.

I have used Kahnwake gaming commission years ago for an issue I had with a casino. They were incredible. They forced the casino to pay me and kept in touch with me the entire step of the way. I also heard positive cases from others. It was once one of the very best.

Sadly, it's just another garbage license that only cares about getting their fee paid by the casino. And now, I had to learn the hard way that this gaming commission no longer cares about the safety of players.

Your message read differently but only you really know the facts I guess.

As for my “baseless” comment, you’ve been “scammed” twice recently, and most of your recent comments I’ve read are all about how bad the industry is as a whole, so I’m wondering why you continue to play?

To be fair, she did mention that she cut down her depositing by about 85% and for the rest of her 15% in deposits, she only does it with a decent bonus offer.

Strange comment considering I posted in your thread that I play maybe 10% of what I used to.

lol ive went from 15% now down to 10%. Soon it will be zero.

This also happened about 6 weeks ago. I had to wait the 6 weeks for the invesitgation to finish up.

Im only posting this so other players can find it when searching anything on North Casino so they dont get scammed too. People should know that and also know they can no longer trust the Kahnwake gaming commission.

Honestly, I'm equally as surprised as you are regarding the behavior of the Kahnwake gaming commission. They used to be more or less the gold standard.

It was very dissapointing to see to be honest. I had such great past experiences with them and considered them the very best. I didnt know all that Max posted, sort of wish I did.

Anytime I saw a casino licensed by Kahnwake I always felt like yep this casino is safe. Thats how good they were

This isn't the first time I've seen that term pop up. I'm sorry you fell victim to it.

Then again, I tend to read the entire T&Cs before playing at a new casino. Doesn't matter what their license is.
I also do now as well after Fafabet denied by winnings due to restricting how you play with raw cash. Will never fall for that mistake again.
