Dont know what to do??? Im stuck!!! Please help!!!

Oh and by the way, I'm no high roller, 1,600 is a lot of money to me. Especialy because I'm a civil servant and redundancy is on it's way :-/

All,

William hill has indeed come to their senses. They took the original £10 out of my withdrawl and placed the £1590 back into my account so i can withdraw away.

I will still be persueing my complaint against Click and Buy because in my eyes what they did was criminal.

I have my money now tho so im happy as larry. Could not have done it without you.

I have seen on the site somewhere that i can make a donation, can someone please advise where i can do this as your help has been absolutely fantastic.

Ditch Click & Buy as a deposit option PERMANENTLY. Since you are in the UK, you have the widest possible choice of alternatives, so unlike our American friends, no one ewallet can "have you by the b*******".

I ditched Click2Pay years ago when they suddenly switched to charging my card in DOLLARS when making my deposits through a Click2Pay POUND denominated account, and into POUND denominated casino accounts.
They first argued they had always done this as "policy", and blamed my card company for the change. Fine I said, I'll complain to THEM and dispute the currency manipulations. Click2Pay quickly changed their tune, and refunded the charges:D (They knew what might happen if I called their bluff and actually held the card company responsible, and I didn't even have to mention a "certain word";) ).

Since the FSA said they DO now regulate Click& Buy, you have a short cut. You need a "deadlock" letter (or email) from Click&Buy, and then you can make a formal complaint to the FSA, and also to the Financial Ombudsman in order to get individual redress.
Not using Click&Buy in the mean time should prevent other deposits being "unpaid" by Click&Buy, which would endanger future withdrawals.

Neteller or Moneybookers are the two main eWallets used by UK players, but if you are low rolling, VISA debit cards should be fine for relatively small transactions, and probably more where the casino uses the new "VISA Secure" protection where you enter a password as well as the 3 digit code on the back of the card.

If you want to use a bank directly, consider a separate account just for poker and casinos, so that if any problem arises, it doesn't affect your day to day banking. Many players don't like direct bank transfers as it gives casinos your bank details, and in the case of Betfair & the player from Portugal, these details can be "misused" when a dispute arises.

I see that WilliamHill has registered a new rep here today. Thats good

They offer a very wide range of gambling opportunities, so probably many players who might be interested in using them.

Whoo hoo!

:thumbsup:Wow! I just read this thread from start to finnish and I've gotta say it's probably the most interesting and engrossing (I think that's a word?) discussion I've read in a forum! It was like a wickedly written novel that you just can't put down! Lol, informative, well paced with drama and a happy ending! Loved it! This is exactly how a good forum works! Good work guys!
