So I've carried on playing at VS and it's been.... absolutely fine.

I haven't done great in terms of withdrawals but I put that down to my idiotic propensity to play Worms Reloaded (which has a base game RTP of 92.66% once the Jackpot King progressive contribution is removed from the equation) rather than there being anything wrong with the games.

That said I have made one withdrawal which was processed and paid within 10 minutes on a Sunday evening so can't argue with that, it took a couple of days to actually hit my bank but that's not VS's fault.

Also, they don't appear to have been aggressively removing old games with solid RTPs from their books, as other casinos have done, so I can still play the likes of Epic Joker (97% RTP) and Taxi Movida (98.27% RTP). Also the older Blueprints, from back when their RTPs were all ~96% are still available to play as well. Alas all the Pragmatics have been hit with the nerf bat, as has the whole PnG catalogue which is a shame.

So yes, where there is a lower RTP version available, that's what VS will be running, but older games that only existed on one maths model are, as far as I can tell, all still playable at their old decent RTPs.

I haven't been getting much in the way of BIG PRIZE WHEELS and when I have they've been crap (to this day I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with a £1 'Battle Ticket'), but I've had some free spins off Clash of Spins and also got a reasonable little amount off the weekend cashback booster thingy. (Whatever it's called.)

Also I haven't had a single game error, not even a laggy spin come to think about it, and I have an incredibly low tolerance for that sort of shite so that's a definite tick in the plus column. (I remember at 21 Casino the game disconnects and errors were so frequent I just stopped playing there.)

I covered that in the first post of this thread I signed up at Bet365 and got myself fully verified, only to find they home me to the UK and treat me as a UK player, so I get slots without autoplay.

Same happened at Lottomart, Mark very kindly offered to give me a £50 free chip to try his casino out and see what version of the games I got (as per earlier in this thread), but he checked ahead of time and PM-ed me to let me know I would get UK slots (i.e. no autoplay). I should note for the record that he maintained the offer of the £50 free chip, but I politely declined as I felt it would be very cynical to take money to play at a casino that realistically I will never deposit at to play. (I absolutely will not play online slots without an autoplayer.)

This is the thing for me, I need to be playing at a casino that correctly homes me (I don't live in the UK!), and VS are one of the casinos that actually does so.

I think this is probably the best part of a post you have written, lifetime, that I could not agree with more.

Quick example, recent as yesterday, wife registered to the Tuesday €15K added battle, it got completely cancelled and she did not get refunded to be able to buy in to the replacement battle.

In all seriousness though goaty, what do we ultimately want from an online casino?

For me at least, I want depositing and withdrawing to be simple and hassle-free, and stuff like account verification to be quick and straightforward - VS has been fine for me on both counts. I'm sure others have had different experiences but for me, they've been fine. A few years ago when I was playing there a lot more regularly, I had to do a SOW thingy which required a bank statement to be sent to them, which they processed quickly and approved. (Not sure if it was billed as SOW at the time, but I had to send them a bank statement for some reason or another.)

Then I want a decent selection of games, whatever criticisms you might have of VS, it's impossible to argue that they don't have a great selection of games. Worms Reloaded is very hard to find these days, but VS still have it. They've also maintained the Blueprint back catalogue, which has disappeared from most other casinos.

Next I want things to work well from a technical perspective, and again, VS are up there with the best in that regard, and definitely much better than other multi-provider casinos I've played at over the years. I absolutely detest laggy spins, game errors, disconnects, and all that sort of shit, I haven't had a single one of any of those with VS since I've picked up playing there again.

Perks are nice and VS have definitely gone downhill in that regard, but then again so has everywhere else (with the exception of 3Dice who have maintained their excellent VIP structure, regular bonuses, perks at Christmas with free comps and all that sort of thing), I never have anything to do with the battles at VS so can't comment on those. I've been getting a few free spins here and there though which have wager free winnings, and the weekend cashback was better than nothing. I've had a couple of prize wheels too, which again, are better than nothing.

We've also got active reps here at CM (which is more than can be said for some accredited casinos), and my experience with VS support when I've had to contact them over the years, has been fine.

Finally, and I realise this is rather more personal to me, the casino absolutely has to 'home' me correctly as a non-UK player and give me slots with an autoplayer, which is actually a bit of a rarity in my experience, and VS do so. (More comprehensively than Unibet, where it's a bit of a lottery as to whether I get a UK or non-UK version of a slot, not that I play at Unibet now anyway since they stopped accepting my card.)

It's easy enough to avoid the games with the nerfed RTPs though, I haven't played any PnGs or Prags at VS since they got hit with the nerf bat, but as per my previous post it's easy enough to find games with solid RTPs. I also get offered games that don't seem to be available to UK players at VS, such as Taxi Movida which has an RTP of 98.27%.

Worms Reloaded has only ever existed in a single maths model, with basegame RTP of 92.66% and then the Jackpot King contributions taking it to a reasonable 95.66%, so I'm not playing a gimped version of it, it's the only version there's ever been.

It's an incredibly low volatility game, hitting over 100x on it is something of a rarity, so it can get away with rather poor RTP. It's also packed with features, it's unusual for the autoplayer to get through 100 spins without some sort of feature being triggered.

Yes fair enough, obv it depends on what games you like to play. Ur right VS does have a huge library but 95% of that library is now fucked imo. So for me it makes no sense to deposit there for the sake of a game or 2.

Something of a nice run at VS yesterday, with a modest £100 deposit to have some slots running alongside an extended Cyberpunk 2077 session (pro tip - one of the best videogames ever in its new V2 form.)

Long story short is after SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS of continual play on Genie Jackpots Wishmaker Jackpot King on 20p spins, I had a balance of £127. I also unlocked a Wheel Of Jackpots (not sure why) which yielded 75 free spins on Punk Rocker (an actual jackpot on the Wheel Of Jackpots would have been preferred of course, but anyway), when played through these took my withdrawable balance to £142.

It's not even like the slot has a crazy RTP, it's 95.57% for the slot with another 0.5% in progressive contributions, for a total overall RTP of 96%. Solid, but not spectacular.

This is how I like to play a progressive, slots like Mega Moolah give over far too much RTP to the progressive, so you're left with an actual slot paying some nonsense like 88% or whatever horseshit it is. However the progressive is still there on the Jackpot King games, so at the back of my mind I was like, hmmm, £645K, that'd be nice, I could build the world's biggest shrine to Jeremy Corbyn.

In terms of gameplay it was fine, you know how these low volatility Blueprints roll, loads of features and mini-features, it's pretty rare for the autoplay to go 100 spins without something stopping it, even if it does only pay 5x or whatever (or zero....).

I got every feature on the wheel, including Big Money, although that came off the Magic Carpet feature.

I also saw the Jackpot King feature itself four times, which I think is quite good on minimum bet, alas the jackpots eluded me and the best I managed was 80x off the spinny wheel of amazing prizes. (On two of them I bombed out on the pre-game where you collect the crowns, so didn't even get to spin the wheel.)

Anyway, seven and a half hours of slotting, and being £42 better off at the end of it is a good deal - I'll take it!

As an extra bonus I got a cool new shotgun in Cyberpunk and I think my lass looks pretty badass with it.

I have been playing a lot at Videoslots of late and I like them despite the lowered RTP,which doesnt affect me too much as I steer clear of Pragmatics for the most part. It seems fair and the choice of games is fantastic. The freerolls are good if you've played there enough so I'd recommend it. The £20 minimum withdrawal is a bit of a bugbear of mine though and their sports betting side is not the best but overall it's very good and among the best nowadays.

Various reasons including

Winning days, paid within minutes
Every game anyone could ever want, despite me sticking to the same handful
Site seems pretty stable and responsive these days, games load and play as they should
Chances of the aforementioned Wheel of JP's (had quite a few since they made the changes!)
Despite the moans, the Battle of Slots is nice added bonus and rewards return decent from time to time
Good active reps / management available here on CM
Competition does very little if anything to entice me to play elsewhere

Very nice run, I'm a bit mystified why you took the trouble to blank out your surname in the screenshot when pretty much every man and his dog, at least in the emulation world, knows it.

Something of a nice run at VS yesterday, with a modest £100 deposit to have some slots running alongside an extended Cyberpunk 2077 session (pro tip - one of the best videogames ever in its new V2 form.)

Long story short is after SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS of continual play on Genie Jackpots Wishmaker Jackpot King on 20p spins, I had a balance of £127. I also unlocked a Wheel Of Jackpots (not sure why) which yielded 75 free spins on Punk Rocker (an actual jackpot on the Wheel Of Jackpots would have been preferred of course, but anyway), when played through these took my withdrawable balance to £142.

It's not even like the slot has a crazy RTP, it's 95.57% for the slot with another 0.5% in progressive contributions, for a total overall RTP of 96%. Solid, but not spectacular.

This is how I like to play a progressive, slots like Mega Moolah give over far too much RTP to the progressive, so you're left with an actual slot paying some nonsense like 88% or whatever horseshit it is. However the progressive is still there on the Jackpot King games, so at the back of my mind I was like, hmmm, £645K, that'd be nice, I could build the world's biggest shrine to Jeremy Corbyn.

In terms of gameplay it was fine, you know how these low volatility Blueprints roll, loads of features and mini-features, it's pretty rare for the autoplay to go 100 spins without something stopping it, even if it does only pay 5x or whatever (or zero....).

I got every feature on the wheel, including Big Money, although that came off the Magic Carpet feature.

I also saw the Jackpot King feature itself four times, which I think is quite good on minimum bet, alas the jackpots eluded me and the best I managed was 80x off the spinny wheel of amazing prizes. (On two of them I bombed out on the pre-game where you collect the crowns, so didn't even get to spin the wheel.)

Anyway, seven and a half hours of slotting, and being £42 better off at the end of it is a good deal - I'll take it!

As an extra bonus I got a cool new shotgun in Cyberpunk and I think my lass looks pretty badass with it.

So I pushed this session into Day Two (yesterday) and my luck ran out, but I got over another seven hours out of the balance, so that's something in the region of 13-14 hours slotting out of a single £100 deposit, even allowing for downtime when I was out of the room or too busy in Cyberpunk 2077 to interact with the game, we're still talking well over ten hours of solid spinning.

My weapon of choice for the second session was Bison Rising Megaways Jackpot King, and it wasn't great. I took the 15 spins starting at 1x multiplier every time, got nine features in total, best was 240x but the rest were in the 30-100x range, not terrible, but not enough to salvage things. Base game was uninspiring and didn't hit anything of note. Only got one shot at the progressive Jackpot King feature which paid 30x on the wheel.

Having had an extended session on the game now I can't say I'm a massive fan really, the feature in particular is very frustrating and just 'feels' a lot worse than Bonanza somehow.

Overall no complaints, with the good session being balanced out by the bad, add in the house edge and extended playtime, and the end result was sort of inevitable

The layout is not the greatest to navigate and the in play football markets,which are my own favourite,are sometimes freezing and other times not available at all. In play football betting is where it's at for the big boys and where competitors to Betfair,Bet365 etc need to be aiming if they want to compete.

I am back at Videoslots trying to win the Jackpot King SUPER JACKPOT which has now climbed to a palatable £648,000 - an amount I would deem acceptable.

I like Genie Jackpots Wishmaker as a slot anyway, so adding a juicy progressive onto that whilst maintaining nearly all of the RTP is an agreeable combination. (As a game I'd prefer Worms Reloaded TBH (albeit by a narrow margin), but that drops the main game's RTP to funnel more into the progressive contributions.)

I have switched to using my Revolut virtual card so that SINISTER GAMBLING TRANSACTIONS do not besmirch my primary debit card and bank account.* VS did not seem phased by this and took my deposit (unlike Unibet which refused to accept Revolut), although doubtless they'll have something to say about it should I end up making a withdrawal....

So here are the stats from yesterday, in the end I did 3682 spins and achieved an RTP of 103.1%, which is officially known as 'quite good'.

At my high point I was at £190 (from a £100 deposit), and I'd set myself a withdrawal target of £200, but it slowly started to slip away from me at that point, although I still finished nicely above where I'd started.

I also can't complain about the progressive round, which I triggered five times, and whilst the best it paid was 90x, considering it only accounts for 0.49% of RTP, that's not bad going at all. Funny you should mention about segregating deposits, I’m in the process of moving all gaming transactions to one new account, bit of a ballache but as you say nice to keep gambling transactions off the main everyday bank account. Makes perfect sense really, and can’t believe I didn’t think of it sooner as will probably make the dreaded SOW‘s less painful as well as no other stuff going in and out, wonder how many fellow gamblers have an account just for casino gambling use?

I'm really not sure how this Jackpot King thingy works under the hood, on Worms Reloaded you've got 3% of RTP going to them instead of 0.49%, which suggests you'd expect to see the progressive round a bit more often, but it doesn't seem to be the case at all in my experience.

Anyway however this goes from here I'm not going to complain, as once again it's many hours of play from a £100 deposit, and as you can see I've got a withdrawal point of nearly twice my initial deposit, which of course I won't take because one always wishes to push things a little bit further..... lol.

I made the decision to keep my everyday main current account free of gambling sites, deposits, withdrawals a good 5 or more years ago.

Not that the humble low rolle,r low budget player that I am would ever raise any concerns, I just felt it would look better this way.

I use Skrill now and despite their fees, feel that this is a small price to pay for a cleaner bank statement. I even have their Mastercard and they charge €10 annually for this but again, if I win and withdrawals go to Skrill I can use this in just the way I'd use my banks debit card.

Others may not see it the way I do but I felt this was far easier not to mention less intrusive than opening a secondary bank account.

I find Revolut nice and convenient for this stuff, no fees either. So for example to get £100 into Videoslots yesterday, I just added £100 to my Revolut account with my HSBC debit card (using the Revolut app), and then deposited £100 at VS with my Revolut virtual card, total fees were zero. I also do the same for crypto purchases at Coinbase, and I've used it for depositing at Rizk too. (Crypto always comes with fees though.)

All HSBC ever see is modest transfers of funds from my bank account to Revolut, rather than anything gambling/crypto related.

Well yes, any credit agency, Clearscore, Experian, trans union blah blah will see a bank account.

In your case they saw it as it was on a credit card rather than just a bank account the two types are not seen as the same thing, but yeah harsh it was reported or classed as a “cash advance” type transaction.

But me just having a bank account to be used exclusively for gaming, suits my needs perfectly.
