Depositing at Videoslots again, because at least it works

So I've carried on playing at VS and it's been.... absolutely fine.

I haven't done great in terms of withdrawals but I put that down to my idiotic propensity to play Worms Reloaded (which has a base game RTP of 92.66% once the Jackpot King progressive contribution is removed from the equation) rather than there being anything wrong with the games.

That said I have made one withdrawal which was processed and paid within 10 minutes on a Sunday evening so can't argue with that, it took a couple of days to actually hit my bank but that's not VS's fault.

Also, they don't appear to have been aggressively removing old games with solid RTPs from their books, as other casinos have done, so I can still play the likes of Epic Joker (97% RTP) and Taxi Movida (98.27% RTP). Also the older Blueprints, from back when their RTPs were all ~96% are still available to play as well. Alas all the Pragmatics have been hit with the nerf bat, as has the whole PnG catalogue which is a shame.

So yes, where there is a lower RTP version available, that's what VS will be running, but older games that only existed on one maths model are, as far as I can tell, all still playable at their old decent RTPs.

I haven't been getting much in the way of BIG PRIZE WHEELS and when I have they've been crap (to this day I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with a £1 'Battle Ticket'), but I've had some free spins off Clash of Spins and also got a reasonable little amount off the weekend cashback booster thingy. (Whatever it's called.)

Also I haven't had a single game error, not even a laggy spin come to think about it, and I have an incredibly low tolerance for that sort of shite so that's a definite tick in the plus column. (I remember at 21 Casino the game disconnects and errors were so frequent I just stopped playing there.)

Overall then, in the current online casino landscape where nerfed RTPs and a total lack of bonuses are the norm, VS is actually a reasonably decent place to play. I'd probably now choose them over Unibet even if my card worked at Unibet to deposit, since VS have a far more expansive back catalogue on their books (Unibet don't have Worms Reloaded, for example).

I don’t get the love in’ for @Videoslotsnotificationacc, I really don’t.

Definitely amongst the absolute worst Casinos left for UK players. My gameplay fell off a cliff there. Unrecognisable from the first 3 years. And before I am bombarded with usual defensive crap, I DON’T PLAY THE LOWER RTP Shite. (Well not knowingly;)).

If it wasn’t for the battle weekends (which I never play), nobody on here would ever give them a mention, apart from, to say what a shithole, it’s be become. My experience there in the last 18 months was nothing short of disgusting.

In a stunning move that rocked what's left of the online gambling space, a forum user called 'Snorky' was hired as Videoslots' PR Campaign Manager, in a move that's set to leave their rivals floundering.

"We just like how he gets to the nitty-gritty", said the CEO boastfully.

"He hates our games, and we immediately saw the connection, because we do too" he stated. "And unlike our site, we're hopeful this partnership will work, and that we can forge a great journey ahead, free of problems. Unlike for our players"

But all they're doing is presenting the games through their 'shop front', it's not VS's fault if you've had a bad run of luck, they're not running the game servers.

My experience since returning there has been positive, I don't have anything to do with the battles (I don't even really know what they are or how I would partake in them, whenever I win a Battle Ticket on the SPINNY WHEEL OF PRIZES it just sits in my rewards panel until it expires), so I'm judging it purely on the basis of how it operates as an online casino for me.

Yes I've been critical of them in the past because of the RTP shenanigans, but in an online casino landscape where nerfed RTPs are the norm, and where I also need to play somewhere that presents non-UK slots to me (so I still get an autoplayer), VS seems fine, and when I recently made a withdrawal, it was paid within 10 minutes on a Sunday evening. (I also had to refresh my ID there, which was approved very quickly and without issue.)

I genuinely don't know why you'd call VS a 'shithole' if all that's happened is you've lost and had a bad run of luck.

In other words, the back office convo went something like; "You see them moans on CM about the return to player settings at VS? Well, we get mentioned in that thread sometimes, and it ain't gonna go down well when word gets out that the rtp's they like to moan about aren't even as shit as ours are!"

Not promoting them for a second but I do believe these lower settings were brought up to match those on VS, mostly around the 94% range.

What we were told on the main VS thread anyway.
maybe they. did not play there for long time

Why are you not playing at bet365???

Don’t get why you’d take VS over them??

They don’t have ya worms but can just use VS for the odd session on that.

Tons of games and all top RTP

I covered that in the first post of this thread :) I signed up at Bet365 and got myself fully verified, only to find they home me to the UK and treat me as a UK player, so I get slots without autoplay.

1675275420833.png

Same happened at Lottomart, Mark very kindly offered to give me a £50 free chip to try his casino out and see what version of the games I got (as per earlier in this thread), but he checked ahead of time and PM-ed me to let me know I would get UK slots (i.e. no autoplay). I should note for the record that he maintained the offer of the £50 free chip, but I politely declined as I felt it would be very cynical to take money to play at a casino that realistically I will never deposit at to play. (I absolutely will not play online slots without an autoplayer.)

This is the thing for me, I need to be playing at a casino that correctly homes me (I don't live in the UK!), and VS are one of the casinos that actually does so.

Without auto play but top RTP to me is way better than playing garbage RTP at video slots. I just use an auto clicker.

Have you tried getting in contact with their support?

Sorry I must have missed ur post further up.

Autoclicker no use because I have the slots running in their own window up at the top left of my screen whilst I'm playing videogames in the main window, i.e. the slots window won't have focus and/or the mouse pointer for an autoclicker to work with. If it needs interaction from me I'll mouse over to the slot and click on things, but generally speaking it's the game window that will be active.

I also tab around to other windows for the internet, WhatsApp and so on, you can see CM down at the bottom left here.

So basically, an autoclicker won't work.

As for contacting Bet365 support about the 'homing' issue, you've dealt with online casino support in the past, right? I remember once trying to ask Rizk about them starting to take lower RTP versions of PnG games and ended up in some nightmare conversation where I was being advised about taking a break if I was losing too much or was unhappy with my gameplay.

So this is where I'm at currently, DESTROYING EVIL NAZIS in Sniper Elite 3 (I've completely maxed out Sniper Elite 4 and 5, so I'm working my way back through the series), 3Dice slot running up at the top left, and writing this post down in the bottom left. (WhatsApp is behind the Steam window at the bottom right but that's got private stuff in it so I've covered it up with Steam.)

Well if you don’t ask them you’ve no chance. Never needed to contact their support so couldn’t tell you what they are like. My only slight gripe was that they recently applied a £250 LOSS limit to my account which I wasn’t happy about. Can be increased with documentation but no casino is having any of that from me.

By far the best to play IMO.

You’ll get no bother with withdrawals and a big catalogue (even tho you wouldn’t think so - they don’t exactly show off the fact) of games ALL on top RTP.

Well there should be a Bet365 rep on the forums as they're accredited, but @bet365 doesn't tag a rep and I can't see a name for them that matches.

I'm not even remotely going to go down the route of trying their actual live/email support for something like this, my previous experience with online casinos teaches me that it's a one way ticket to insanity.

Honestly, VS is ticking the boxes for me when it comes to the 'non-3Dice' casino option at the moment, but at the same time I'm open to credible alternatives, but I draw the line at engaging online casino support when it comes to explaining that their signup process has homed me to the UK but I actually live on a little island in the Irish Sea that is part of the British Isles but not the United Kingdom.

I don't think I'll be able to clear my cache and cookies out of that one.....

And case in point, decided to make a withdrawal from VS this evening, I've had a decent run on my last deposit and have ended up in profit (that 500x win on Worms Reloaded Jackpot King last night did a lot of the heavy lifting, screenshots here Winner Screenshots - January 2023 - Page 3 - Casinomeister Forum ).

You can only ride your luck so far and I'd had really good playtime from that deposit, so decided to take the profit and make a withdrawal.

Processed and paid in five minutes.

Yes it would be great if VS were running all the top RTPs, but when even the likes of Unibet cratered and started running games at crap RTPs, I figured all bets were off and I'll just play somewhere that has the games I want to play, where it's easy to deposit and withdraw, and I know I'll get paid quickly and without fuss when I do withdraw.

If there's a casino out there that runs all the top RTPs, gives me non-UK slots with autoplay, and isn't a faff to deposit/withdraw from then sure, I'll give it a go, but for now, VS is alright.

Honestly, if I had to recruit someone to shill my wares I don't think I'd look far beyond Chops

With 3Dice now drowning its sorrows, clutching that photo of them & Chopley at that fun fair booth, they must be wondering just where the love died :(

But the best part of this allegiance bed-hopping is that it came cheap - the Sniper Elite collection, some rare Hearthstone cards, and of course the signed Theresa May biography!!

Well I’m surprised that somebody who often harps on about RTP is happy at videoslots.

If you want to tar all support with the same brush and cba even trying then that’s up to you.

No idea why anybody would rather play lower RTP slots that are available elsewhere at top RTP. Even if there are other reasons that you’ve highlighted.

It’s top RTP or nothing for me. Even if I had a favourite game there is absolutely no way I’m attacking it at 92%

Each to their own of course. I’m just surprised that somebody like urself who has highlighted how important it is, has given in.

I think this is probably the best part of a post you have written, lifetime, that I could not agree with more.

I would rather punch myself in the face or hand my month's wages to a local charity than spend 30 seconds on ANY casino live "help"

Quick example, recent as yesterday, wife registered to the Tuesday €15K added battle, it got completely cancelled and she did not get refunded to be able to buy in to the replacement battle.

A visit to their live help had her ranting at me (see even if I avoid, I still cannot avoid :p :p) as they were asking her to send screenshots of her registration to a none existent battle that they, themselves had earlier cancelled! (surely they speak around the office of such instances, then again obviously not)

Although small amounts value wise, the times I've missed out on a bonus or some free spins I was genuinely due because it required live "help" interaction just to avoid my BP raising and reaching for the co-codamol*

*Not the TFTUT strength ones of course :p

I'm totally available for a reasonable fee, let's get goatcoin up and running!

In all seriousness though goaty, what do we ultimately want from an online casino?

For me at least, I want depositing and withdrawing to be simple and hassle-free, and stuff like account verification to be quick and straightforward - VS has been fine for me on both counts. I'm sure others have had different experiences but for me, they've been fine. A few years ago when I was playing there a lot more regularly, I had to do a SOW thingy which required a bank statement to be sent to them, which they processed quickly and approved. (Not sure if it was billed as SOW at the time, but I had to send them a bank statement for some reason or another.)

Then I want a decent selection of games, whatever criticisms you might have of VS, it's impossible to argue that they don't have a great selection of games. Worms Reloaded is very hard to find these days, but VS still have it. They've also maintained the Blueprint back catalogue, which has disappeared from most other casinos.

Next I want things to work well from a technical perspective, and again, VS are up there with the best in that regard, and definitely much better than other multi-provider casinos I've played at over the years. I absolutely detest laggy spins, game errors, disconnects, and all that sort of shit, I haven't had a single one of any of those with VS since I've picked up playing there again.

Perks are nice and VS have definitely gone downhill in that regard, but then again so has everywhere else (with the exception of 3Dice who have maintained their excellent VIP structure, regular bonuses, perks at Christmas with free comps and all that sort of thing), I never have anything to do with the battles at VS so can't comment on those. I've been getting a few free spins here and there though which have wager free winnings, and the weekend cashback was better than nothing. I've had a couple of prize wheels too, which again, are better than nothing.

We've also got active reps here at CM (which is more than can be said for some accredited casinos), and my experience with VS support when I've had to contact them over the years, has been fine.

Finally, and I realise this is rather more personal to me, the casino absolutely has to 'home' me correctly as a non-UK player and give me slots with an autoplayer, which is actually a bit of a rarity in my experience, and VS do so. (More comprehensively than Unibet, where it's a bit of a lottery as to whether I get a UK or non-UK version of a slot, not that I play at Unibet now anyway since they stopped accepting my card.)
