I received a phone call from a customer service rep from chance hill around twenty minutes ago asking me if there was any reason why i haven't deposited at CH.

I said poiltly that I take a dim veiw of reps calling me asking me why I haven't deposited, and is the phone call to ask me to deposit?

I was told the phone call was to make me aware of current bonuses on CH.

Easily fixed, polite email sent to support directing them to close my account with immediate affect

That is a pet peeve of mine as well. I'll get a call from a casino - and I'm thinking it's a casino rep wanting to clear something up or touching bases with me, and it's some support guy trying to give me some bonus.

The only place that would ever bug me is Super Casino. Especially strange given that they'd sent me the email promo about an hour earlier, each time.

I'd cut the rep off mid- sentence with the usual 'I know, you sent me the email already':what:

The calls were mildly annoying but not deal breakers.....the way I see it telephone is just another form of communication, provided they don't pester me past a certain time or call all the time

The only other time was when Betway phoned me to part- reverse some of my winnings from them. In hindsight, that was definitely a scummy move and a big no-no when it comes to customer 'etiquette'

    Hi Phil,

Thanks for the feedback, and I am sorry to hear that it ended like it did.

We are aware that some dont like this kind of personal communication, but the majority of the players we have called actually had positive feedback after the call ended. We are always striving to keep all customers happy, but we are not mind readers :)

If you would have told us about this, we could easily have avoided the situation again and made the experience at our casino a more pleasant one.

Anyways, I am happy to hear that it was a easy task to close your account!

    Have a great day

I wouldn't mind so much if they called me as long as it is someone who actually works at the casino. That would give me a chance to ask questions or question what they are doing, if I don't like them ;)

What I hate and is very common these days is that they are using call centers. Some young kid calling who knows nothing about the casino at all.
I think it was from CasinoEuro I got a call not so long ago. Really bad. Unfortunately I know that they don't care a bit about what I think!

    Hi Havad

Thank you for understanding why I made the decision, I just felt the tone of the phone call to be quite disrespectful in asking why I haven't made a deposit at your casino.

I wish you a good week ahead

    Regrads

    Hi again,

I can understand that - and thats not how we are supposed to be towards our customers.

I will have a chat with the guys, and make sure this is not done in the future.

Thanks a lot for your precious feedback. This is actually very helpful, we are here due to our customers - and then its best that you guys are happy!

Administrative cleanup: the thread was an older thread titled "Chance Hill sold". I felt this should have a thread of its own. :D
