So for everyone that see's this. This is illustrations from the book that I am working on. The artist who did them was 12 years old at the time and in grade 6!

So am I, and I thank you very much for that! I had a lot of submissions, but hers really stood out, and reminded me of the books I read as a kid. Lets face it, who knows better than a kid themselves! It put things in my mind that were not there before. Like the untouched raw talent of a child, that really goes un- noticed. I approached another business last year and explained/asked about starting a bursary up for any one child in the school system, that is involved in the arts. He said he had tried something along that line before, but did not get good reception, but as I told him......They haven't met me yet, and I don't give up that easy. Then I had the stroke Sometimes, I'm my own worse enemy.

I know you can get it to Aldershot, from there to Toronto. I've been a few times with my ex, but after that I am lost. My son would take it straight to Peterborough when he was down from college. I cant do 3 hours on a bus.

Bebo, friendships can be real online. And just because it is not happening now, does not mean it will not happen. Might not part of a big wild party, but I would expect I could make TO and bus to Woodbine at some future date in time.

@trade actually paged me at Rama once, when she decided to attend a concert. They will only page people once. About a year later, we met and attended Bill Cosby concert I had tickets for. She's lovely, I bailed on meeting her last summer? Two summers ago? when she was passing through.

I've never been, and honestly, I don't expect I will ever attend, unless I won a contest, but going to the Meister Meet I am sure would be a blast.

@incrediblestuff meeting me in Amsterdam was meeting an old friend for the first time. Gave me a chance to meet CM and Maxd, bunch of reps, and I must say @luckysox was not someone I was hoping to meet, but such a delightful man I hope it is not the last time we meet.

I've been here over a decade, it is hard to plan group meets, unless it is at an industry event. Atlantic City might be an option for a group meet-up for all the Eastern seaboard.

You really should talk to @the Shamus . He's had a bit of a hiatus due to health issues, but he has planned meet-ups with other gamblers, and produces fun videos.

By the weekend, I should know if I am heading to Rama July 8th or 10th. It's been a while, I cancelled my birthday trip last year due to poor health, and I am antsy to go somewhere, if even for the day. That's about as far in the future I can plan. My best friend has been a little antsy too, she needs to wait for her work schedule. I think I will go one of those two dates, as I have no idea when I might be able to.

Alternately, Ottawa remains a possibility on the Tuesday or Thursday that week. My buddy would definely prefer Rama, but I think I might prefer the shorter bus trip.

July 8th Pulmonary Doc, July 10th MRI on the brain. LolI lost 2 summers due to health, so I get it. I think that is why I\m trying my hardest to be social. Other reasons too that I wont get into, except to say that I have been isolated. I'm off to bed. My mobility sucks HUGE right now, and I'm trying my hardest to correct it every day. Balance issues. Mine sucks big donkey dicks too. But bus and a bit of stretch, the ability to plot down at many nearby slot machines, and the following day in bed does sound good to me. Might be my last chance for just now.

I'll post here when I decide what day and casino I am headed for, but almost certainly going to be early July. I've been promised surgery so many seasons, but I do have pre-op July 5th, so very optimistic it will be this summer. It's only been four years of steep decline, but let's not be bitter at all. At least part of it was my fault missing an appointment when I was blind. There were two appointments same day, I just thought I mucked up the calendar, and then was a new phone I had to manually input when the cataracts were so bad.

Always a pleasure to meet fellow CMers, so if any can make it great, if not, I'm not done trying.

Well I can honestly say that I cant do Orilla. It would take me 4 hours by bus I'm far away from you guys. You're more centralized. My legs would not, could not do that far by bus. It's going to be hard on the p[lane come November, but hopefully I will be a bit better by then, and I can also be sedated. I wont do Woodbine. Trigger reasons ( ex)
