Being Stalked and Harassed Online-A reminder about Online safety

Hey all

So long story short. I am currently being stalked and Harassed for the last few weeks increasingly getting worse by this person by the week from an Ontario Online Casino. IT IS NOBODY ON THIS FORUM for the record but they could come on here and start trouble just for a heads up. This person is showing up in chat every time I am on or my screen name is mentioned and making numerous false reports about me and wild accusations. I did nothing and I mean nothing at all to provoke or cause this and am still not sure what happened for her to target me.

I had a family friend on the chat and she went nutso and accused her of being me,lol This family friend is a senior! You are harassing a senior! If there was like any chat about me she would appear in chat.

The site is believing her every time and not even asking me what is going on or my side or helping me at all! I pretty much had a nervous breakdown this last week and can't eat or sleep and I will say I fear for my safety right now in general but I am not worried about me as I am 6 foot 5 250 pounds.

So I finally sent her an informal 1st cease and desist letter (where's @tenur when you need him) so I have something in writing and she called the police on me, I think the officer already had a feeling she was not telling the truth and not all there and claimed I made 7 accounts to talk to her, whaaaat but as soon as I said it was just a legal letter and she needs to stop all contact with me and anyone I know he was like kinda oh o.k. and I have heard nothing back since as she has nothing in writing as I have not contacted her or engaged with her for weeks and unfriended her on Facebook almost a month ago as I saw the signs that there was going to be problems, unfortunately, did not do enough still.

I am still shaken up and depressed and stressed, it has cost me money and I am very sad and have nobody to talk too and I need hugs.

Just a reminder to anyone that people don't appear as they look or say more times than you think (except me, I am a really great guy ) and you really have to be careful and be sure sure that everything is real and right with that person. I recognized early the signs as have lots of experience with this kind of stuff sadly but even then I still did not do enough and you have to document everything to the T and that's for anything you have problems with not just this kind of event, I can't stress it enough. The fact that she had nothing in writing and just hearsay cause again I have not talked with her in weeks and I said legal letter and the fact I was going to say go get the chat logs from the site and I will go through them with you and you will see I have nothing to hide and she is harassing me saved me from further grief I hope.

I know here there is the meister meet and we have all been around many years for us regulars and I do consider quite a few on here as my friends so maybe not too much to worry about on here per se, but with how times are now, and more people are losing their minds you just never know.

I don't even know if this thread will be allowed on here but if I helped one person or helped people to be reminded to be careful online then I feel like I am doing the right thing.

I am hopeful it will open doors to other things for me or I win big next time I play, at least that's how I am trying to think of it in a positive light.

Yep - there are crazies out there. I have had my share of harassment, but I just let that be water on a duck's back.

But all things will pass, and hopefully this person will either get the message or move on. These people thrive on confrontation, and sometimes what I do is just ignore them. They seem to hate that and just move on.

And yes, I consider Casinomeister to be a safe zone since any sort of that kind of nonsense is not only frowned upon, it's a violation of our community rules, and f&%$twats like that will get the boot.

Been there and I totally ignored them, which in turn seemed to turn up their need to attempt to 'hackle' me. I just let them get on with it, deleted everything unread and let them burn themselves out - if he was nasty and it didn't work, he tried to be nice, that didn't work so he would change his tactic, all to get a response from me.

Ignore and they will eventually get fed up and leave you in peace.

Not the same but similar mate, had some moron on another members YT channel making false accusations about me.

Ignored and gone away for a long time now, hopefully the same tactic will work for you mate.

Deep breath, remember they're virtual and not camped on your doorstep and keep smiling.

I hope so, next day even after the police visit I still had problems BUT since then about 2 days of peace but not online as much or at all in some cases either. It's the false accusations that are the problem cause it is making me look like a monster when I have done nothing wrong at all and causing me grief trying to show what she is saying is false.
Trying to do the deep breaths, it's just the fear of are there going to be another false report about me or some others that like her going to cause problems sort of thing right now.

Thanks, Mina I got caught up on rest pretty much all afternoon and played tonight on what's going to be my main site or one of them now, only 1 hit which was like 140x on Monopoly Megaways which was still not great as had a lot of houses and a good size multiplier, so not the big hit for karma/revenge I was hopeful for,lol.

Not anymore, it was a site with no chat and was already focusing on just playing. If I do the chat thing it will be on a more safe and monitored by me via my youtube channel or twitch when and if I am ready.

Some small good news, finally made a sale on my ebay store this afternoon, it's been very slow since ebay made some changes and with the whole cost of living/inflation everywhere but looked at my report and the numbers are starting to go up and I will be working on it more now cause of what happened over the next month.

Can feel you 100%Im going threw my own problem and it's at work. It's been on and off for 14 years of harassment I finally had enough and want accountability. On leave and working on options. I'm not sure does it ever stop as some people are beyond crazy not sure how they can get up every day and feel good about them selfs. Too many people are selfish, greedy, feel entitled, and seem not to care about anyone but them selfs. No accountability for their actions.
