I'll be heading out the door early tomorrow morning for the CAC 2005 in Amsterdam. For you non-European residents, the weather is very spring-like but cool in the evenings.

If anyone wants to hook up with me, I'll be around - I'm not too busy and I'm free to shoot the shit.

    Nice talk you gave there!

I was surprised to hear the topic - I was sure you would talk about evil ones of all descriptions.

Sorry I missed all of the social events - I would have liked to touch bases again.

If you're not coming to Miami i guess we'll meet again in Vegas....

Enjoyed reading that report. Hadn't realized how young the industry actually is and that people all come from different fields. I must have thought everyone's been involved in the gambling business, offline, for 20-30 years.

Yeah it's really young - I'm one of the oldtimers, probably older than the majority of those in the business. Why in my day, the "Internet" was part of a fishing boat's gear, web design was what spiders did, we had no remote controls for our TVs, we'd have to walk uphill both ways to change the channel, and we LIKED it.

Wasn't that a pain! Had to invite my gf over, kiss her, tell her how much I loved her... just so she would get up to change channels and fix the antenna
