Back when I started playing it I remember having three 1000x wins in quick succession and lots of big wins. I’ll be honest, got a bit obsessed and ended up playing it daily and playing through a lot of spins. Slowly the wins started to diminish. Averaging out of RTP or the game changing? At that point who knows. All I know is it got me so angry that I was never getting a cash out, that I took a 6 month break from slots. Unfortunately they will never be brought to task over any skulduggery, just as no other provider/Casino will. The reason being, they are not answerable to anybody who has a clue what goes on. Even if they were, you could guarantee the judge would find in their favour, as the industry is too big and well protected to ever be brought down.

Like you, I too went above and beyond what is logical, yesterday. I deposited around £400 and mainly played 60p. I guess that’s a wagering through of at least £1,000 and not 1 bonus. It’s beyond scandalous words just fail me.

I decided to make a couple of last deposits at Mr Q and lost the first one so thought, shit or bust, make another and play £2. Problem with Mr Q, it doesn’t update your balance so to save going back in and out of the game, I lowered my stake to 20p as after that spin the balance will update.

At a point of weariness, I left it on 20p and 3 spins later it drops GOLD. After thousands of spins at 60p or higher yes, it kicks me in the teeth. Paid x150 as well. Upped my stake and sure enough it wiped me out rapidly. Deposited again and had the same problem with balance being below stake I wanted so lowered to 20p again, thinking that can’t happen again.

Well, of course it did, GOLD within 10 spins and a retrigger so 17 spins and it paid x35. Upped stake again and wiped out rapidly. Now some people would say that’s just random and the way it goes. Well, it’s all about opinions and mine is, that it’s pure bullshit. The more I see of this game (and I have seem more than most), the more I realise just how disgustingly programmed/rigged it is. Something very similar has happened to me a few times. One in particular that sticks in my mind is a time, when again, the slot was dealing out its usual shite so I dropped to 20p, which I hardly ever do. After not seeing a bonus for about £350 and over 1,000 spins, 5 spins later it drops GOLD back to back. Something I hadn’t seen for about a year.

Call it coincidence, call it what you will but I am starting to wonder just how much these games are tracking every move you make. My deposit to withdrawals ratio has become so predictable, that I can only deem and describe it as controlled. The pattern is too predictable and regular and nothing I do will change it.

I have been through gambling phases before with different crazes. Online poker, FOBT roulette, etc. Eventually I have always reached a point where, as much as I have at one point, loved it, I began to hate it and see through it and shortly afterwards left it behind forever. I'd also bet that Bonanza's cited as one of the main antagonists in making people pack in slotting altogether, such is its ability to chew and spit players out. And all this in its short five-and-a-half year tenure!

One can almost envisage a future Bonanza Anonymous group, consisting of broken players that have fallen out of love with slotting because of its damaging nature

There has to be at least five or more posters that can attribute this game to their apathy towards slotting, or even Megaways itself, you can be sure of that!

Fact is, Bonanza's shitness was likely always there and simply cyclical. As mentioned, those lauding it as the greatest thing since sliced bread soon found themselves whistling to a different tune, as its 'charms' were laid bare for the Ponzi game it truly is. And then along comes another bunch of Bonanza hopefuls, assuredly basking in its glow, until it was their turn....

I'm pretty sure this already bad game became irreparably worse after Evolution's tinkering, that much seems apparent, as evidenced by the lack of meaningful wins thereafter. If I was to play it today I'd have little doubt something was afoot, and that this game will never recapture its 'better' days. Hence why dropping this crud like a hot potato was at the right time by the looks of it.

Well, for what it’s worth, I have put a letter together that I will be sending to the relevant organisation(s), concerning the ethics of this game.

I expect there are thousands of people out there, who feel they have been “ripped off” at some point by Casinos/Providers but how many actually do anything about it?

I have been gambling for 40 odd years and have only had a handful of instances, where I have felt cheated and this is one of them.

I 100% believe that underhanded tactics have been employed regarding this game, absolutely no question about it. I have stats and records that more than back up my allegations.

I haven’t sent the email yet so if anyone feels that they have anything of value that I can add to it, then please send me a pm.

If history's taught us anything, it's that they're a highly respected, professional outfit with an unblemished relationship with its customers.

Complaints are looked into, mistakes acknowledged, and a time of 'inward reflection' the end result. God knows they've always set out to 'right the wrongs' of their Roulette, for example, and as a result, the complaints have all but dried up. We can all do better

BTG are a company of integrity. Throw in Evolution and you got yourself the greatest duo since Sonny & Cher. If they don't disclose Bonanza's tampering workings the moment they read the complaint I will eat my hat live on air, I make that my solemn pledge

Even if I did, it would just get ignored by people who refuse to believe the industry can be anything other than totally above board. I am old enough and wise enough to know when I have been shafted and this is an occasion when there is no doubt.
