My highest turnaround was winning over 20K in a single day, and then losing it back again the next evening, and pretty quickly too, due to chasing through a persistent "MG Suck" patch.
Having too much money from a big win readily available can be dangerous. I am more inclined now to request a withdrawal of any large upswing from Neteller, such that it becomes unavailable for several days while it moves through the banking system and onto my cards, which cannot be used to make huge deposits of several K in a single day.
Even so, I still manage to play on for too long after a serious winning streak, and usually this is because I am chasing a higher score in a wagering tournament. My series of huge wins posted recently on winner screenshots are PAYOUTS, they do not represent me actually having gone many tens of thousands ahead. Winner screenshots are just highlights of a session, many wagers give results that are not worth posting. The screenshots tend to be of wins that are well above what might be expected, such as hitting something big during a slots bonus round, or hitting a very good pat hand in VP, such as a top paying 4OK in the Double Double bonus poker, or getting a few top paying wins on a slot while also betting high (for a change
).
When looking at these screenshots, look at the STAKE, not just the payout, before allowing jealousy and greed to kick in. It's pretty easy to get a bonus round of several K while betting well over 50 on a slot, far more remarkable is getting this amount from a truly awesome hit while betting relatively low, such as my 5 scatters on Spring Break for over 4K while betting only 2.70 - they hit DURING the free spins
