Decided to give 7 Sultans a go based on the front page recommendation here.

No spins over $5, probably average of $2.50 per spin.

$2000 deposited, and even with ~$900 bonuses still a RTP % of a whopping 67.21%

And the player support solution? Deposit more money.

Yeah right. You already have all my money, and not a single bit of entertainment was had.

7 sultans and your affiliates, cram it.

e: 67.21 was after a 'recovery' from 55.5% at the $1500 mark.
ugh, I'm too poor for this crap.

it's not a guaranteed RTP...if it were, who in their right mind would agree to always lose (it's not 100% right?)

people have bad sessions it happens...you won't find the payout any different at any other microgaming....some people will get 67%, some 120%...that's why it's gambling

You do realize that this could have been any MGS powered casino - the software works the same. Why beat up 7 Sultan's?

Fine. Infraction for flaming the administration.

Please can you tell us, which game(s) did you play?

 I wish I was "poor" enough to be able to deposit $2,000! :p

played that new IR/TS2 clone, the finer reels or something for $500 @ $1.50 spins.

then to Leagues of legend, around $1000, and the last $500 @ Mega Moolah and BDBA.

And I hadn't gambled for a month, which is why I was able to deposit $2000, which leaves me without enough money to pay the dentist tomorrow but yes, very funny.

So what you're really angry about is gambling with money you couldn't afford to lose. No one can change that little scenario but you.

Sorry man, but you just sound like a sore loser. I know its not easy to take a bad session but it happens, and in this world - gambling - you HAVE to be able to take the bad times alongside the good times, or you will not end up in a good place. The RTP you had on that session was unfortunate, but tomorrow - next week, next month even, if you keep playing you may well get it all back, maybe more. That's just the way this thing called gambling goes. Trust me, I'm not trying to be patronising, I've had more than my fair share of GODAWFUL sessions, and I know its kind of a natrual thing to want to blame the casino but it's really not their fault. You chose to gamble that money and, on this occasion, you lost it. If you have something you need to pay for (aka the dentist) then you should have set that money aside and not risked it in the first place. Sorry bud.

It's not that I lost the money, I ALWAYS lose the money (don't recall the last withdrawal I had), it's just that you usually at least get a possibility of winning, this was just three solid hours of 20c pays on $2 spins. I recall I had a set of 25 x $4 spins that paid 60c, in total, and yes I get that it happens, but normally there's something to make up for it, but this time, just more consistent loses. I'm pretty sure if you took the probability of getting this RTP% and reversed it to a paying odd you'd be rich.

Here's my most recent experience: I deposited 20€ with 7 Sultans a couple of days ago, to play the new slot game "The Finer Reels of Life".

Started with the lowest 0,30€/spin (first 100 spins) and progressively increased to 1,50€/spin, with each of the 6 bonus rounds I won.
I was able to wager a bit more than 300€ on my session and when I had 150€ in my balance I withdrew (I've had 170€):)
I most surely would have wagered 500€ with my 20€, if I had kept on playing.

Nothing new for me, since 7 Sultans is one of my casinos of choice.

So, you can move to another casino and try to change your luck, but simultaneously you must also change your gambling behaviour cause you should never spend, or should I say "waste" the money you can't afford to lose.

Maybe gambling is not just a pleasant hobby for you and you should seriously think about that.
If you had the courage to post your (bad) experience here, why not try to get some help (here) as well?

I know that you probably meant to say, that you lose some and (maybe) win some, but here we have a guy, who gambled away the money to pay the dentist. Now in my book, that is not a good sign, and at the very least he obviously kept depositing to chase his losses.

What you're saying is keep doing that, and you'll eventually get your money back.
That is not going to happen!

What WILL happen, if he believes that he'll win his money back is, that he'll dig himself deeper, trying to get back what he already lost, and next it could be the rent, that he can't pay.

I would really urge people to not give that kind of "advice", especially to someone who is already on the slide downhill. I would much rather see people tell him to slow down, take a deep breath, and accept his losses so far, make small deposits and try to lowroll, just for the fun of gambling, or even step back, and have a good look at what he just did, and maybe consider taking a good long break.

General advice, and rule number one in gambling: Never EVER chase your losses, it'll take you to a bad place!

a few years ago before MG stopped taking US players I bitched a little to cs about zero play for my $$. To my surprise the manager tossed me a $1k bonus and I won $25K off Reel Baron.

Blew some of it back but cashed out a good sum. So it can happen.

I worded what I meant to say rather poorly so do forgive me.

My advice was not aimed at a person in financial trouble or someone with a gambling problem - it was aimed towards a gambler who gambles for a hobby, not for income or with any loss chasing behind it. Having a set bankroll and knowing when to stop then picking up another day (when it is affordable as part of your dedicated bankroll) can lead to a good session another time in the future, so was trying to say (if you have a healthy approach to gambling) all is not lost.
Again I have probably worded it badly, but would like to stress that I would in no way encourage someone who may have a gambling problem or is in any financial trouble, to continue gambling, so apologies for any offence caused.

If I was your neighbor I would let you borrow my pliers... Hell I'll even pull it myself, just call me the Sultan.

He hates royalty, that's why.

You could be right. He should have maybe quit at 2 or 3 Sultans......

Mousey is right. He's just pissed he lost his dentist money. No appointment at 2:30 for him.

If one is at the point of blowing one's bill money/medical treatment money, one is in dire need of counselling and should stop gambling immediately.

I have to agree with the others who have already posted - those games are ALL high variance and so your experience was by no means exceptionally bad. I kinda suspected that might be the case, which is why I asked the question in the first place.

If you want better value for money (i.e. longer play-time but still with a good chance of a decent hit, as opposed to a mega one), play lower variance games.

Cheeez... Always the same discussions... Loosong streak, winning streak... All is possible!! I had 4 month of MGS without a withdrawal and the last 5-6 weeks i had about 15 withdrawals at MGS!!

An RTP is only relevant for xxxxxx spins!! Think about that sometimes at the end of a month a slot paid 130% or only 70% and then think about how many player played that month, and then think again if your 1000 spins really matter!

A slot is designed so that you will loose. If not, then you're lucky!! Never expect a win, or stop gambling :)

wow you were right! all I had to do was put what was left of my dentist money in today ($490) and play under $5 a spin and this time I got a whopping 32% RTP!

I know I'm acting like a bitter jackass and a sore loser but I'm actually just glad it's over with, and I have no desire to ever gamble again.

To those that enjoy it responsibly, well done, you're a better person than me.

To those who are still fooling themselves just try and stop, do whatever you need to do and don't waste over a decade of your life and money on this stuff, it never gets better.

That's all from me. Good luck to you all.

e: apparently 7 sultans do not lock account permanently, I can't imagine any responsible reason to disallow someone the option to close their account permanently, they will "lock it indefinitely" which just means you need to contact live chat and reopen it in less than two minutes. What is the point of that at all?

Me: I don't want to be able to re-open it

Jack: Unfortunately we do not lock accounts permanently *****

Jack: If you do not wish to play, then simply leave the account locked

Go to chat and repeat after me: "I have a gambling problem" ... let's see what happens ;)

I won't harp on about the money side. But tell 7 Sultans you want the account closed due to a gambling problem if they do not honour this then yes we have a problem here. Once closed they should also have you blocked at any of the casinos in the group.

Sorry about your bad luck but glad you have finally got on the right foot in closing the account.

How does one tell what their RTP is? I'd love to know how much I've lost at 7 Sultans. Bet its a ton, since I used to always play there:eek2:
