888 Thriller Promo

Thanks Spiderlegz,

I'd not investigated the ombudsman route yet myself. I'm a bit weary of the 888 game, but perhaps I'll find time to drop them a note over the coming weeks. There seem to be some strong feelings among other posters and former 888 members so I'm sure the more vocal members will find time to pass on details of their woes, whether succinctly or not!

Thanks Casinomeister for reopening the thread and also for providing such a useful service.

To mellowness...

Thanks and apologies to all

Thanks to Bryan for keeping me on board and for keeping this thread up and running.

Special thanks also to Spider for enormously helpful post.

Apologies to Nifty and Silencio for what was my misunderstanding.

Luck to all viewing this thread. Hopefully all that suffered from 888 Thriller will be recompensed in due course ........................

I've reopened the thread by members' requests.

Please keep it mellow and abide by forum rules. Thank you.

I would like to reiterate Twiggy's and Mickey's thanks for continuing the thread and also thank Bryan for taking me back on-board.

I understand that Nifty29 and Silencio actually have a good history of providing positive assisitance and information to members. Nifty29 and Silencio, please accept my apologies if my posts have caused offence and I look forward to you continuing to express your views on the thread in future. Unsurprisingly emotions have been running high, posters who had hitherto thought themselves alone in being denied their funds and branded as cheats by 888 have perhaps reacted over-exuberantly to finding themselves in the company of similarly treated individuals.

Hopefully the thread will continue to bring together, support and inform dissatisfied customers at 888. Spiderlegz, thanks for your post - very much the kind of thing we're looking for.

Legal precedents

888 Thriller victims really should look for legal precedents. Are disputed big casino bonus offers settled through Court actions?

Looks like this stuff really does happen. Coral/Gala closed Eurobet.com almost a year ago. But there is an ongoing dispute between Eurobet.com and a Mr Venturi, of Naples. In this case Eurobet are seeking to recover a £650,000 win/bonus to which they claim Mr Venturi was not entitled. The issue dates back to 2009.

So these are still really early days for those 2011 888 Thriller victims!

As for Mr Venturi, a hearing is currently ongoing at the Royal Couts of Justice in London - that's the most senior civil Court in the UK except that in certain circumstances parties can appeal to the House of Lords. What a way to claim a bonus ...

I shouldn't say any more about Eurobet v Venturi as I imagine it's sub judice.

Likewise once Court proceedings against 888 are underway, the claimants should not really be allowed to post any details of their claims on this thread.

But imagine having to wait three years for your days/weeks in Court to settle bonus claims. No wonder many ordinary casino members just give up.

I would advise against posting your email addy for security reasons, along with your real name. Not everyone that visits this site, or any other, is honest.

Just use PMs.
