WT.... has happened to Fruit Warp?!

My sincere apologies to AnnaTS and the forum in general. I said it out of frustration but that is no defence. It won't happen again.

First of all I couldn't thank you more for bringing in a a level of discussion which this forum hasn't seen for many years. Cheers!

I have seen it here and in your AMA thread that if people don't get their head around your explanations you get a tad condescending. Just my impression. Not everybody here is a number cruncher and has the abstract thinking abilities that you unequivocally have so keep it easy with them and don't bother too much to convince them.

Again. Thanks for doing this.

Fair comment - i certainly don't mean to be condescending... however, it's frustrating when people are telling you that what you're saying is a lie when i know 100% it isn't. I wouldn't dream of telling them that everything they know about their job is a lie... so yes it does get frustrating when people say the same things over and over again and seemingly ignore the explanation... however, my comments to AnnaTS were out of order and there's no getting away from that...

I experience the EXACT thing.

Let's hope Thunderkick reads this thread... however don't expect a rep of them to comment on this....

And what outcome are you expecting if they read this thread? To run and change the slots around? Doubtful. As long as they are getting their contracts renewed at casinos, thats all that matters to them unless they are a passionate group who thrive on players feedback. Havent met one yet though.

They made 2 major changes to it since it was launched. First and biggest change was made the first (?) week (reduced the variance significantly) it was launched. And the second one when they changed the whole portfolio and further reduced the variance.

They constantly do some minor changes to it as you can see by looking at the version number.

And a bit OT, I would never blindly trust anyone saying a game is random if that person wouldn't have been involved in every aspect of the game making. Would also drop out discussions about RNGs when talking game fairness as even those softwares busted for extremely easily detected cheating had their RNG in "order". A fair RNG has never, and will never, ensure fair gaming.

On slots it would be basically impossible to prove IF some cheating would go on. And the licensing jurisdictions would be the last ones to detect anything wrong as every single cheating incident has been discovered by players. And those have been quite easy to detect which tells a lot. So a cleverly compensated slot would be almost impossible to bust.

So a cleverly compensated slot would be almost impossible to bust.

In my experience, compensation online would be pointless (and difficult) for these reasons...

There is no point compensating only against yourself. Compensated games only work when multiple different people are playing the game at different times. Not concurrently.

Well could come up with a few scenarios where it would be profitable, for example by restricting highrollers from bringing down the house. Like instead of a hot run of 105% it would be 101%.
I chose to use the word "compensated" to basically cover all cheating, like SkillOnNet double up, even if perhaps fixing would be better.

First off, I know exactly what the op is referring to gameplay wise. That said, I've still hit seem decent wins in the last week or two. I've had a couple x200 @ £2.50 in quick succession than BAM - either no freespin/bonus round (5fruits) or a bonus round and immediate blow out on the higher green...um....cahooonas I call them.

I still can't believe after all these years we're being fooled by the RNG bullsh!T - If slots were really RANDOM

  1. vendors could not propose a '96% average payout' - how could they
  2. all RNG algorithms would be published on the casinos site - actually, on the developers site
  3. people would better understand that all casinos pull each spin from the vendors server. That winning spin I at VS, IF I chose to play at Guts instead and pushed the spin button and called that particular outcome.... I would get the same win.

All that said... how does a game know if I'm wagering £0.09 or £4.50 (I'm UK)? I assume it doesn't. If I hit that HUGE (x7000) DOA win on £0.09 as per CM 'screener of the year a while back'.... £750, IIRC. So, what if it that spin was wagered at £4.50?

  1. would it have ben such a big hit?
  2. would the slot have gone stone cold after paying £28,000+
  3. if the latter, why and how? It's Random, right, although over months, not a spin.

Apparently - you push spin and request an outcome from a server - your mate, playing at a different casino presses spin a second later and gets another outcome from the same server. Multiply that around the globe and there we have it.

My guess is... If I won £20,000 on Fruit Warp (not sure what bet that would be) at VS! VS would go to the vendor NYX and say, hey, uh £20,000 win. NYX would say, yep, correct, we'll pass it over. Each casino is hiring the game at a cost, the vendor pays.

Otherwise... a slot comes out exclusive to casino A. After a few months casino B releases said slot and on the first day a player hits a stupid, jackpot, I'm gonna retire win. That ain't gonna go down to well if Casino B has to pay up

Hmm, what a rant. In perspective.. Fruit Warp is on the first page of most popular at VS

The machine does not know but the servers does :D:D
