Ok, so I just made the roll over on the 30nd bonus at William Hill, I go to live chat to check on the wagering and to get the bonuses removed on my deposit-so I could claim my winnings.

I knew I had to make a 35 deposit to be able to claim my winnings, but I asked anyway. She told me 40 deposit, so I thought huh, 40 really. It said in the tacs it was 35, then she went yes but if you deposit 40 I will give you a winning game to play in the next 24 hours(complete bull shit IMO)

First of all, she new I just wanted to make the deposit and cash-out. But she tries to get me to make a 40 deposit to play on.

I thought William Hill was a class act, I don't need a chat op telling me to make a 40 deposit because it will make her a happy girl. Even after I said no thanks to the 40 deposit to be told about a lucky game tip, I was offered to make the 40 deposit again.

OMG!! Reps must be getting some kind of bonus for this. Like you could care less if she was happy or not.

Make me a happy player and maybe I would return.

Shennigans is putting it kindly.

funny that,

i too had a problem with that same csaino tonight concerning the 30 bonus which i posted here

they too told me 40 deposit... the person was like almost forcing me into depositing 40 saying 40 is a lucky number,

im then told once i do deposit it i can withdraw the no deposit bonus and my deposit... but nup...still cant, when i try to cashout it says that 140 bonuses will be lost if i withdraw, however some of that is in fact the no deposit bonus iv aparantly met wager requirements for.... both live support and email support have told me that i have met the wagering requirements of the bonus and i can cashout it out.... but clearly if i did go through with the cashout id only be paid my 40 deposit and would lose all the rest

what i also dont get with them is they say its a "no deposit" bonus, but the thing is the way iv always used them bonuses is for example, im given a 20 "no deposit bonus" with 20x wagering requirements so thats 400, say i make the WR and have 60 in my account and the max cashout is 100, i can then cashout the full 60 including the original no deposit money

with william hill however from what this poor support has told me i will lose the "no deposit" amount, so if i had 100 in the account after meeting WR, i would only be able to really cash 70 out (of course thats with the "no deposit bonus" taken off which is what they are saying)

i find it disgusting that william hill, 1 of the largest bookmakers/online casinos which has been around for years and is highly respected have all this bullcrap like we have experienced... support team that bullshit telling me iv met the wagering requirements for the no deposit bonus (when i actually havent) just so i make a deposit.... and especially in your case saying about her offering you "TIPS" if you deposit.... thats either an utter load of bullcrap which goes against casino customer support policys i would imagine (and again isnt it rogueish behaviour?? temtping you to deposit with false offers) or if it is fact shes speaking and she does have some unlikely "inside" knowledge and is happy to share this then surely thats a sackable offence. I would guess that its the 1st of the 2

i think some complaint should be investigated with this situation because "tricking" people into making a deposit and lying to customers is not on at any casino let alone at the once reputable william will

Oh dear! I was assured (in person) that William Hills, a fine, upstanding, honest & fair UK bookmakers had taken over Cpays, a dodgy, pushy, conniving resident of Roguesville, and that everything would be above board.
Now it's beginning to look MUCH more like the take over went the other way.

I have had dealings with their enforced live chat myself, so I know they are VERY pushy. What LOOKAWAY posted above confirms that and in fact takes it to an even lower level!

I think WH are heading towards the Rogue pit...! :(

Will Hill may have taken on more than it bargained for with its Playtech "purchased assets" and if it is not very careful its reputation could be dented further.

Ok I asked the chat op if I needed to send in ID etc for my cashout, I was told yes a deposit verification form would be sent to me-for me to fill out and my ID and utility bill etc to be sent in.

As I did not receive this by email, I emailed support and asked again.
It looks like they are reviewing my account by the looks of there reply, and also they said not to send this info in.

This just makes me wonder what the frick is going on:what:

Here are the two replies they sent>

Aileen was the 1 who i last spoke to via email, she was the 1 that said:

"Upon careful review of your account, you already met the wagering requirements
for the 30.00 Sign-Up Bonus you have received.

Kindly note, you have received 60.00 bonus for your first deposit. If you
wish to cash out your Sign-Up Bonus winnings, we suggest that you do not play
with your funds and immediately request for a withdrawal once you login. If
you play with your funds, the wagering requirement for the First Deposit Bonus
you have received will be applied in your account and the system will not allow
you to cash out unless you have met the said requirement."

again they too are giving me the "runaround", because iv mentioned to them lots of times that if i try and withdraw the bonus winnings + my deposit them im told i will lose all of the money except 40 (my deposit)

i could well make a PAB concerning this matter, after all some casinos have recieved rogue status for less than this

Blimey... That is diabolical!

"WINNING" Tip/Games etc?!?

I really hope someone from Will Hill will pop up soon and try to explain...

completely agree there, someone from WH should indeed explain this because its neither the way people should be treated at a casino nor the way in which people expect their cashouts to be dealt with

2 threads having similar complaints concerning this same casino is not doing them any favours becasue for the sake of under 300 (mine and LOOKAWAY's withdraw requests combined) this could be detering a load of people from playing/joining there and maybe lose triple that amount in possibly player deposits

LOOKAWAY - just wondering, for you did they tell you once you had met wagering requirements that you can only withdraw winnings as such minus the 30 ND bonus (for example,if your balance including the ND after meeting WR was 100, but they said your only allowed to cashout 70?)

Hi sparkz, I actually had them block bonuses on my account. When I finished wagering I had a 155.21 balance, then I made the 35 deposit which gave me 190.21 balance. Then I withdrew the 190, then I got a pop up saying I could only cash-out 160 forfeiting the 30 bonus-which I did.

Now this is why I think my account could be getting the look over because I went and spun away the 21 pence, which could be why my account is under review.

I think also they will catch a lot of people out by the fact you can only make one cash-out from the no deposit bonus-even after you have made the qualifying deposit.

How do you know when you have met wagering requirements? Do you have to go to support to ask? I only usually play at microgaming & there it tells you how much is real money & how much is bonus.

from me experience of playtech, the way you usually can find out if you have met wagering requirements is by asking support..

with MG the bonus releases itself from bonus to real cash, 10 at a time as the bonus is met so you pretty much know its met

usualy if you ask support at a playtech casino they will say if you have met it or how much more you need to wager until you meet it, then you can check via your comp points (usually 1 point = 10 wagered) to get a rough idea from then onwards as to how much you need to wager to meet it if you havent already

LOOKAWAY - glad you interpreted my post concerning -30 that i did before cause iv jsut read through it and there was numerous errors in figures i mentioned lol...still half asleep :(

for me its i got the 30 deposit, played and played, got to 80.32, then was told i had met the WR, i deposited 40 and got a 60 1st deposit bonus, so the total balance was 180.32

next they said a few times i can withdraw 90.32 (80.32 ND minus the 30 ND value + my deposit of 40) however upon requesting payout of 90.32 it says i will lose 140.32 worth of bonuses (and thus only be able to cashout my 40 deposit) so clearly the WR wasnt met but the reason for the deposit was because i was told i had met the WR (I would not of deposited at that time otherwise)

for me a ND bonus can always be fully cashed out, on any other casino once meeting the WR iv been able to cash the whole ND Bonus balance out including the amount that was given as the original ND Bonus.

The last thing i heard off support was last night saying again i had met the WR and could cashout 90.32 but as i mentioned above if i requested a cashout i would only be able to withdraw 40 and lose the rest of the balance.... i sent them another email (swnt the same 1 twice) however have not had a reply yet....useless :(

i could well make a PAB concerning this matter, after all some casinos have recieved rogue status for less than this

We now have a direct connection to senior Will Hill management so we should be able to get issues dealt with promptly. As ever, read the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ and have at it!

This is bad... very, very bad. It's unprofessional, it's pushy, it's simply... really bad form. The OP should have been 'informed' of the $40 'promo' (if that's what they want to call it), yes, but with a clear explanation -- not: 'make me happy'. And WTF is a 'TIP' on 'winning' game?? To those who have some idea of RNG, this makes no sense at all. ... sheesh

This is not Customer SERVICE. *thowing hands up* I give up... Online casinos have gone batty...

But look on the bright side... it isn't often that it would only take $40 to make a woman happy. (I'm KIDDING people)

Will Hill needs to be very careful that it does not further damage its reputation in this new deal with Playtech....this sort of thing doesn't auger well for its image going forward imo.

I have just been reading the thread started by sparkz, but it seems this is no "technical error" as he was told, it looks to me like POLICY for reps to attempt to get players to deposit 40 instead of the 35 stated in the terms.

The reps also give spurious rerasons for this, sparkz was told that 40 was a lucky number, lookaway was told they would be told which game was going to be a "winner" - really:what: so Playtech can rig a game to pay a specified player then:rolleyes:

This shows more than ever that these issues are CURRENT, and although William Hill say things are changing, they should ALREADY have changed, since William Hill has been running these casinos for MONTHS now.

This is not even one of the purchased assets, but William Hill Casino itself, their in house brand, which should NOT be tainted by the old rogue casinos they bought in.

What next, PHONING players to get them to reverse, or offering them "secret" verbal deals (I had this from Enter casino).

I have been waiting over 11 hours on a an email from them. I have spent nearly 2 hours with online support (2 seperate people, same issue) they are really very slow at answering. All I asked was - I have opted for bonus's & understand that in the terms & conditions that I have to make a deposit before I can withdraw winning from the $30 no deposit bonus, If I make a deposit does the bonus come automatically & if it does how do I make the withdrawal?
Both girls have then asked me have I met wagering requirements, which I am pretty sure I have as I have $900 up & played for over 6 hours which is a surprise as that has never happened to me on a bonus or a deposit of $30 lol. Anyway they said I have to wait for a comfirmation email. I spoke to the first girl over 10 hours ago - no email, the 2nd girl was 1/2 hour ago, so I am hoping to get the email soon. Is my question really that hard to understand or is the way I try to explain things, lol. :D

same crap they gave me sorta,

umm, i can answer the questions for you :D,

1stly if you made a deposit and was granted a "bonus" you can still cashout your no deposit winnings as long as you dont play once that deposit bonus has been issued because if you did even make once spin once its been applied then you will be stuck and have to play through that wager requirement

next, make sure you have 100% met the wager requirements for the no deposit bonus, remember that BJ etc only counts towards 20%, the best way you can do this is by actually asking the live support the simple question of "have i met the wagering requirements for the no deposit bonus yet?" they should be asking you if you have met it, you should be asking them so they can check and see on their systems

remember also the total money you have from the bonus IS NOT WITHDRAWABLE. say you had met the requirement and had 100 in your account... you can only withdraw 70 because 30 is the bonus which cant be withdrawn

if you have met the WR and you make a deposit, then you can cashout the total combined (minus 30), all it will do is cancel any new bonus added to your account when you deposited as long as you havent played since the new bonus was applied :p

Well I'm flabbergasted

William Hill Casino catch phrase "The Name You Know and Trust"...
7 decades of gaming knowledge with a reputation of fair play.

One would think (hope) that the upper echelon of William Hill would be aware of the dubious and questionable antics of CPays when they entered into this merger.

I can only imagine that things are like they are because Will Hill has kept the previous support team.

How to tarnish/ruin 70 years of gaming experience...Easy...Merge with CPays:rolleyes:

Thanks for that:thumbsup:. I have asked support twice have I met wagering requirements, the first time last night at 10.30pm - I was told I will be sent an email, this morning no email so I went to support again asked the same question got the same answer, still no email & it has been nearly 24 hours. Maybe they have too many people cashing out & decide if they ignore then some will go away, lol. I made a screenshot of this mornings chat but I mustn't have done it properly cos it is not in the folder where I saved it:confused: I will make a deposit over the weekend sometime & then try to withdraw & see how I go. In the meantime I will play down to the allocated $300us - actually I might make it $330us just in case, lol.

It looks like they went over the company accounts, but did NOT look into their reputation among players. They may have walked blindly into this simply because they trusted Playtech software, not knowing how many Playtech casinos were rogue, and that in general Playtech does NOT get involved with sorting out it's rogue operators.

It would have been convenient to keep the old support team, but what they have done is even WORSE, they have let go the original William Hill team, and let the old Cpays support team loose on the flagship William Hill branded casinos. The result is that the William Hill casino is being dragged down to the Cpays level, rather than the old Cpays casinos being dragged UP to the higher standards of the William Hill brand.

CM and Max have posted that upper management at William Hill are looking into these issues, but it is too late, their reputation is being continually beaten down by these problems, and the longer they leave it to get the problems sorted, the harder it will be to restore the good name of William Hill.

This entire joint venture idea has been a disaster for them (at least in terms of perceived reputation), they should have left Cpays and Playtech well alone. If someone had done their research properly, looking at how the Cpays casinos were treating customers, they would have seen the need to either ditch the deal, or get rid of all the old Cpays baggage from day one, and bring in new managers and CS staff.

i know 2 other people have posted after you and i would like to reply to them also but i have had a few nice refreshing ales at the beer festival (1 or 2 too many) so im not feeling 100%, i will check these tomorrow

but i will say that when i asked if i had met WR they checked and told me direct on live support, bit strange they are telling you they will send an email... very odd :(

right, iv decided now william hill have 100% lost my custom, i often used to bet in william hill betting offices... NOT ANYMORE, i may of made a deposit on that william hill casino... NO CHANCE NOW

they have well and truly put me in the shit and to be quite honest im getting properly fucked off with it i just feel like banging my head against the wall or going back to bed for a week.

When i made the deposit i registered my card under the "credit card" section, it was NOT a credit card but as with most casinos they list registering credit cards/debit cards and "cash cards" under the same section usually named as "credit card".

now yesterday they asked for a copy of the front and back of the "credit card" i used to make the deposit, i sent pictures of the back and front of it which clearly state on the card "cashcard" i.e not a credit card, not a debit card but a bog standard solo cashcard only, which is mine, contains my balance (its used as a business card so any money i get from own businesses gets paid into there) no money is borrowed to be repaid back like a credit card.

Anyways i sent them a copy of the card, then they send back that they want it to be signed, i told them plain and simple, i wont sign it just because a casino asks me to because iv had that card about 7 months and since its a cashcard i only can make withdraws via a cashpoint so i only need to know the pin, thus i never got round to signing it. Although i did say after that i may consider signing it and sending it tho them if they can guarantee my withdraw will be processed with no more "cock ups"

an email i also got at the same time is requireing me to send back "credit card" deposit forms, do they not have any brains? any time before i deposited with a cash card/my actual debit card iv never had to sign these forms, i believe its only for safety because if someone is actually using a credit card then potentially they are "borrowing" money thus have to send back these forms for security? correct me if i am wrong. any deposits i have made at any other casino with my cards have never needed me to sign and return these forms in fact the person who started this thread even said they said they would process his withdraw and he wouldnt have to send any id or anything.

Whats worse is how many people have a fax machine in this day and age??? very few i think, i certainly have never had access to 1 or used 1. and they specifically ask:

"Please sign and fax the above to:"

note "FAX", i didnt enter a fax number upon signup so they should clearly know i have no access to a fax machine

i believe it to be just "stalling" my withdraw, who would of thought that because of the once reputable "william hill" i am no longer gonna bother with "no deposit" bonuses

utter crap imo
