idk why....but I would like to hear what Max has to say about the France comment:lolup:

I don't see anything about the CS person being rude at all, however they could have and probably should have took the initiative to help you find a bonus that would have been more to your liking.

Sam wasn't rude. They have a website for a reason and I see him just directing you there so you could see what your choices were, vs. him having to type it all out. I'm sure he deals with many people, especially on a weekend. From his perspective he is just trying to be efficient, not necessarily rude. Now, Omar, who I don't think works there anymore....is a different story. Sure seems like people are on edge a lot lately. :D

you mean to tell me that if you ask for help in a real casino that answer would be sufficient for you? we are customers, we need to be treated like one even if its a simple question - im tired of getting routed to the webpage when its kinda hard to understand all i want is a bonus and a no max cashout if u look at there page its allover the place and to read terms and condition. i just want it simple and out there . so if i ask a question for it i should get responded by let me check for you like most chat places does

Hiya: Both sides here are right. It is simply looking at the same subject from both sides of the fence. As example, Many years ago i had earned a lot of Comps on my, "RED Wynn" card. I asked, "What can i get with these comp points? They replied, "What do you want"?
Me: What can i get?
Casino rep: what do you want?
Me: I don't know, tell me what i can get, and i will choose something.
Casino rep: Tell us what you want, and I will tell you if we can give it to you or not.
........................and it keeps repeating like this............................

Who is right, Me or the casino rep?
Sometimes everyone is right.................:what:

Give them a chance, instead of making such a hazzle of it.
Play where you understand the terms etc. , or send them an email, instead of all that talk about being rude....seems a bit silly

I didn't see any rudeness at all. Sam just sounds like a typical
customer service rep who has had 30 people asking all sorts
of stuff in the past hour.

Reps are like robots. :p

... I would like to hear what Max has to say about the France comment

[derail]

Max says: the French are many things, unusually rude isn't one of them, IMO. On the contrary actually, we've found them to generally be very generous and helpful, if you make an effort.

I think the reason a lot of North Americans think the French are rude is that they do not understand that there is a fundamentally different attitude toward customers and customer service here than back home.

In the States, and to a certain extent in Canada too, it is generally believed that "the customer is always right", regardless. In France it is more along the lines of "this is our place of business and the customer is our guest".

These differing attitudes can clash rather spectacularly, especially if the customer assumes that because they are spending money they are "right" and they become loud and aggressive to press the point. That is one thing the French most certainly do not appreciate and usually respond with a pretty cold shoulder, hence the perceived "rudeness".

Shouting at a French person is about as effective as poking an American with a cattle prod: you are not going to get constructive results by doing such a thing.

If you remember that a French adult generally expects to be treated with respect at all times, regardless of the situation, then you're a long way toward understanding where they are coming from and enjoying a good exchange with them.

Also worth remembering is that the French (usually) couldn't give a monkey's bum that you have money to spend. That's another big difference in attitudes: in American money rules, in France money is generally thought of as a necessary evil best kept out of sight and out of the conversation as long as possible. Flashing your cash or getting uppity because you are spending it will get you nowhere in France. They see such behaviour as crass, uncultured, and unnecessarily unpleasant: you may be tolerated but you will never be appreciated.

Max is french?

I'm Canadian, I live in France.

I think the term you are looking for is "not helpful", instead of rude. I get where you are coming from but I also see it from the CSR side that you can see all the bonuses at once, then decide.

If it bothers you that much, try INetBet. Of course, they don't have live chat so no worries there.

I don't think he was rude at all. I think he was trying to be helpful too. Remember that English may not be the primary language of your help agent. Cut them a little slack. I HAVE seen rude and this was not it. I think he didn't want to tell you something that you were unhappy with and he actually tried to help you.
I can see how you can interpret it as being lazy or rude but I really don't think that was his intent at all. I think he was giving you the best advice that he knew to give you.

It wasn't good service but it was definately not rude. Good service means that the chat rep helps a bit more than this:

elotito: ok trying to win something i have deposited 4times now and no win d u have any weekend bonuses im depositing 50

elotito: i also need no max cashout

elotito: u there?

Sam: you can take a look at the available promotions

But he was not rude.

I liked the answers from this guy way better than those female ones at some Playtech casinos who almost tries to make you horny.

I guess it depends what people consider rude. Some people find short, blunt answers that lack courtesy rude, others do not. I don't think the debate here is whether or not Sam was rude. The OP left this conversation feeling slighted and that should count for something.

It may be true that in some countries money will get you what you want where as in other countries it won't. But no matter where you are having no money will get you nowhere. Businesses will treat their customers how they see fit and in some cases clients will leave. They may even take other clients with them in the process. Do this often enough and there won't be a business or at least not a very profitable one.

Treat your clients how you want. It all comes out in the wash.

And treat your casinos how you wish. That all comes out in the wash too. ;)
Tension is high lately and due to that there is no such thing as a perfect casino. A lot of people become disgruntled because they did not get the results they wanted, then didn't treat the casino as they themselves would like to be treated, then ultimately either got the cold shoulder, bonus banned, or shown the door altogether by the casino. It's a two way street. ;)

Sure if you believe the OP was somehow on the wrong side of the street. We're not just gambling here. We're paying these casinos for a service. With the amount of money we dump into these people's pockets I think a little help isn't too much to ask for. Or at least more than a grunt when you try to talk to them.
