I've just been checking deposits vs withdrawals at some of the 20+ casinos, which I play at regularly.

The one I probably deposit at the most, has got the worst ratio of deposits vs withdrawals

casino A
62 deposits totalling €4649 average deposit €74
13 withdrawals totalling €2761 average withdrawal €212
loss = €1,888
over the last 4 months

If i compare that to a couple of other casinos for the same period...

17 deposits totalling £1150 average deposit £67
11 withdrawals totalling £2265 average withdrawal £205
profit = £1,115

casino C
29 deposits totalling £1759 average deposit £60
10 withdrawals totalling £1560 average withdrawal £156
loss = £199

I don't expect to be in profit everywhere i play, like at casino B,
I expect it to be more like casino C

So, my question is, would you cut your losses and give up on casino A, or continue to deposit, in the hope that things eventually balance out ???

Yep - give it up.
You know the way RTP works, right? There is no way the casino "owes you" - it's all just luck. Your just as likely to go on pouring money down the drain as make any sort of recovery.

My "casino A" is definitely Betsafe: OMG!!! I just checked my figures so I could post them here - and they're MUCH worse than I thought!
Since August 2012 I have done 57 deposits totalling over €10,000
And just 5 withdrawals totalling €2,500.
I was already trying to avoid them - now I definitely will.

Might sound strange, but in your position I would almost feel I owe it to the casinos I've won at, to go back there and give them a chance to get their money back. After all, they've obviously given you a good time and some nice withdrawals!

i am actually doing the same...

sorting out places where i stop playing. it is a really good plan to do that on a regular basis. besides deposit/withdrawal ratio i also focus on service facts like cs - processing speed and generousity if i failed and bustet.

what is a bit surprising to me - one casino where i am really nice ahead -i busted out these days and i just chatted a bit to support. without asking i got a free bonus tied to a low wr. played a bit and busted on purpose since i am ahead.

thats extremely nice attitude. (of course they also consider to keep me happy and get their chance of me busting some more times... )

Casino A for me is BetSafe also, I can never catch a break there. The amount of <$1 features on Zeus 3 is crazy.

Casino B would be Casumo or RedBet, I am ahead at both of these places mostly from NetEnt games which is surprising.

In answer to the OP's question of course it makes sense to stick to the casino you win at most or have had the least losses at. I would have thought everyone does that to be fair.

And yes slots are random, yet when on a good streak it seems impossible to transfer that luck to another casino, even on one's favourite games. I've seen games turn to ice at certain places, whilst my usual 'unlucky' games play well there.

I'm not going to mention my lucky games or where to play them but I've had far better luck at them at my usual joint. It makes absolutely no sense to keep throwing money at a place where your luck's out to be honest. You cannot force a slot to compensate you because you've given it a sizeable financial boost......cold streaks can go on forever.

If anything I'd streamline the places I play at to about four or five and alternate between them. From my perspective, I've just decided to adhere to a monthly budget I've set myself and have surprised myself at how easy it's been to follow. I actually feel 'cleaner' and am actually up surprisingly.

So in short, given the aforementioned examples I'd cut my losses at casinos A and not chase my losses. Especially after 49 losing deposits there!

And let's not forget everyone's playing style differs. Highish rollers would tend to have a much higher boom-bust ratio. If you feel the games play fairly then by all means continue to play there I say, that's by far the most important factor.

This one is a toughie in my opinion. For example in 32Red I have done well 2012,2013 and 2014 not in profit on a whole but good years. 2015 was terrible and I think I only had 3 withdrawals in total. I am not ready to give up on 32red yet though. Betat for me is my scenario A casino. I haven't done so well there over the years with the exception of two large withdrawals (3k and 1k). I hardly play there anymore. Videoslots used to be horrible for me but over the last few months I have done better not great but better.

So you really can never tell when your fortunes will turn for good or bad at any casino but in my opinion if you get bad vibes (feeling of doom before depositing) stay away for a while. Hey I guess that is why they call it gambling

I think you need to ask yourself what it is about this casino that makes you keep coming back. Once you've figured it out, find other casinos that share the same desirable traits and divide your time between the ones that give you the best offers

As jshort said, obviously you like Casino A. Are you being given some comps or free spins or extra nice bonus offers there? You often don't get such with casinos you are ahead at.

If you haven't been given comps, frankly, I'd ask for one, or at least for a great match bonus.

If you are not being comped after a bad run of nearly fifty deposits, I'd definitely give them a rest. Sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder, and you might find a nice "we miss you" offer.

I tend to play certain games at certain casinos, often something I can't play at other places I play at. Or because I have all the achievements on games like IR, or I like how it plays better (such as quite a few MG games on download).

If you play with bonuses, could it be that their bonus offers are a larger hindrance than casinos B & C?

Don't stick it out because you are "due", or expect it to even out. But don't quit just because you have been unlucky so far either.

If you believe in random, then your next deposit is as likely to win there as anywhere else, assuming you are playing the same games in the same way.

I've got a Casino A, and there are a lot of things other than hope for things to "even out" that keep me coming back.

I don't get any exclusive/personal offers at Casino A (casumo). But I get an 80% bonus at least twice a week and super spins (€3 per spin value) three times a week, Which can be hard to resist.
It's also maybe because I play in Euros there, rather than GBP, So in a way, it's 'cheaper' to play there, 100 'credits' (€100) costs me around £77, rather than £100. I know it's all relative, because if I do happen to get a good win, the value will be less than if I had played on GBP. But a good win is a good win.

I'd play more at casino B (Next casino), Because I do like them as a casino. But there's something about EveryMatrix which I don't quite trust.

And I'd play more at casino C (32Red). But their bonus amounts (as in £ value) aren't too good. Since I'd prefer to deposit £70-£100 each time, where as the offers I get are for 100% - max £50 or 50% - max £25

You guys who live in the 'free' gambling world... You have so many choices, even if you only stick to Casinomeister's top rated casinos! If you are unhappy at a casino, just leave them off your 'play this week' list. You don't have to close your account. Just don't play there for awhile.

Back in the day, I loved 32Red and 3Dice. Never hit anything at either of them. May have had one - yes ONE - withdrawal at 32Red. None at 3Dice. And both casinos are top notch in CS.

Be careful of the bonuses. I grew to hate them as WR went through the roof - 30 x b+d - and we US players saw insanely restrictive withdrawal limits - things like minimum $125 max $150 or 5 x deposit max or some such crap. And of course all that is after they took the bonus back... I mean ... what the hell?? That's not a bonus, it's a trap.

Anyway... I'm rambling. Still on my first cuppa after reading into the wee hours. Beg pardon.

No one says you HAVE to play anywhere for any reason. When you're not happy take a break from XYZ casino, there are other places to play.

I've never closed an account (more so since the introduction of the UKCG and all the 'strings' who knows what it can lead to )............well almost.

Casinos A- Y - Fair crack of the whip, win some lose some, balanced out over lots of deposits and ahead on probably 70% of them, mainly 32 Red where my luck seems to hold (touch wood!).

Casino Z - Lose, lose, lose every time, no game time, no memorable screen shots or features, NOWT!

I chose to give up on 'this casino owes me' about 2 years ago, locked the account and never looked back and never will, had some proper tin foil moments over this casino and how shockingly different the game play was from playing exactly the same slots at the 'fair' casinos.

The casino in Room 101 is Betway, awful place for reasons listed and many more!

I've had a few casinos that I just could not win at in the past. Some have gone for months and even years with a steady losing streak. I've tended to soldier on until something gives. For example I couldn't win a bean at Grosvenor and lost £4k in 12 months. Then suddenly I couldn't lose and got the £4k back plus an additional £1k. At that point I took my winnings and never went back.

I have given up on a couple which the advice seems to be get out if it appears you just can't win. I'm having this experience with a particular casino at the moment. Over £2k down in a couple of months and getting worse. I'm thinking of bailing out, but will probably give it one more chance to see if the RTP will stabilise.
