So I opened an account at Rizk, purely due to the fact I thought 21Casino had reduced their RTPs (It turned out they hadn't it was an error)

Anyway made a few modest deposits, played slots several evenings, had a nice couple of wins and after the month I am ahead by £365, and £58 still in the balance.

I have provided my ID and verification, did that before my 1st deposit.

However, I have been given a monthly loss limit of £130, which I asked to be increased a week back, no reply.

And as of yesterday, because I had the audacity to play for 3 hrs 17 mins, and after midnight and apparently at "high stakes" my account is locked.

For the record my highest bet since I opened my account is 60p.

This is an unfortunate side-effect of the UKGC's heavy-handedness - every casino is shitting themselves at getting ridiculous fines for not performing due-diligence on its players, so they're being over-cautious to ridiculous extremes. I don't blame the casinos one bit, but it's incredibly frustrating.

I understand the need for new measures as gambling moves into a mostly digital landscape, but the UKGC are completely fucking it up. They'll be taxing tuppence-ha'penny at this rate as the players look elsewhere.

My advice - get out while you can. Since Rizk got bought out by Betsson things went down in a MAJOR way.

My account was locked for SOW in January - I supplied the documents they asked for several times over a 2 month period - but they never replied and my account remained locked.

Well I don't fit into any of those categories - I am a self-employed casino affiliate, but not a registered company.
I sent them a screenshot of my bank statement and my tax return, but I simply do not have any of the other documentation they are asking for - so I told them to just close my account.

It's a complete farce! :mad:

I deposited to Rizk a few days ago, only a small deposit as usual (usually i deposit in small £10's just for a bit of low rolling and playtime).

Ive deposited £160 in the last 6 months , and after i deposited this last £10 , as soon as it went through, I got a popup message asking for more information - I was given 2 days before Im essentially blocked from playing or doing anything (which has now happened), and i can barely access menus and look at account details or such due to the constant popup.

My account was fully verified, and for the little amount I spend there, I'm not sending in any source of funds or pay related details. I used to like Rizk and i understand certain things relating to Ukgc etc making things harder for casinos - but this is a bit over the top for me, and i wont be playing there any further sadly.
 
I will refuse to supply any of this SOW ill just stop playing at any casino that ask for it. 12 years at 32red I closed with out a thought and will do with other casinos if comes to it. We don't have those silly rules in Canada but again we only have a few online casinos but looks like the government is going to allow more regulated casinos so we should have more choices in near future. I will miss playing at UK regulated casinos but to be honest most are over regulated and lower RTP etc the fun is slowly being sucked out then you get a casino like Rizk stocking you because your playing past midnight..fs were not grade schoolers and besides if Rizk thinks playing past midnight is a concern then don't have your casino run 24/7. Think about Rizk is there monkeys running your casino?

I got one a few months ago, which wasn't close to as intrusive as that, and told them to close my account instantly.
As usual they don't have a clue what they are talking about. If you are self employed you wouldn't have a P60, plus I'm sure they aren't issued yet, so how could you supply one for the dates requested? From memory they have to be issued by the end of May don't they?

A benefits certificate in PDF format? The only one I've ever seen issued in PDF is housing benefit, and that varies by local authority.
Most benefits don't have an end date, PIP does in certain circumstances, like a short term award or a tribunal award, but other than that they either don't have an end date or have a review date.

Maybe @Betsson-Group could explain why they are asking for documents that would be impossible to provide? Is that so you can scam people by saying they haven't provided something that doesn't exist?
 
My SOW would be difficult. I have been a full time sports trader and arber for the last 18 years. It has allowed me a £30K a year lifestyle and amassed over £400K in savings/investments/float. But I cant prove a penny of it as income lol

Even showing Guts my ISA portfolio of over £200K wasnt good enough
 
I was a happy Rizk customer prior to December - for at least two years. I even recommended them on one of the RTP nerfing posts.

In December they asked me for SOW as i had hit a hidden total deposit limit apparently. I understand peoples frustrations with this, however as a former problem gambler I am all in favour of SENSIBLE precautions. If the bookies and arcades had this in place when the randoms and FOBT's were first introduced many peoples lives (Mine included) would be significantly different.

This happened on Xmas Eve - so understandably it did take three or four days to put in place verification - during which time - at my request they manually paid out by account balance - Good service.

They sat deposit limits of 25% of my income a month, Loss limit of 10% of income. I actually think this is ok.

All went well for Jan and Feb, and in Feb off a £50 deposit, i made a decent chunk - withdrawing over £350.
At one point though - my deposits were blocked - with no reason given.

I queried this with CS - and five days later received a generic email advising responsible gaming team had decided i was ok to deposit again - no reason offered as to why blocked in 1st place.

since then I have deposited £20 twice (also after midnight UK time). Not that this is ANY of their business - but this was after a huge win on another site - which didnt have Moon princess and I just really fancied playing it!

The day after - depositing blocked - although they have not had the courtesy to tell me why!

Nosying around on my account - the loss limit has been dropped to 3% of my monthly income!!!!! I haven't been told of this either.

Feels like they are just deliberately driving UK players away.

TBH. I have no intention of going back to them - far more trouble than its worth.

And as for high stakes?? Their software is so fucked up - you get a "warning" after a huge win of an unusually large bet being PLACED. They are clueless. I was playing House of Doom 2 - on min stakes - 20p - for 40 minutes. Hit over £300 on free spins - to get this "large bet placed warning" Same thing happened when I hit 400x on something by Pragmatic - again on min stake.

RIZK - if you are reading this - FFS get your act together!!!

For the record - i happily have deposit limits set on all my accounts - and I allow myself a monthly loss budget. If I use this up, then I put time outs on all sites. Surely they should be able to respect people managing accounts sensibly. Obviously if i have some good sessions - I might spend a little longer - surely normal. I mean I have deposited a tenner on Sky - and still been playing 5 0r 6 hours later - with a balance that has never gone over £20. This is not irresponsible - so the three hour comment is also a joke.

I think forum members should make posts like this of casinos they play at where they have not had all these bullshit experiences on Source of Wealth. For me it is Sky Vegas where i have deposited and withdrawn thousands without even the need for KYC,let alone SoW.Then with luck,outfits like Rizk will lose customers in droves which is what will hit them the hardest.

If they're so concerned about folk playing after midnight why don't they just flick the off switch at 12am on their site and back on again when someone comes in at 8am? It's a bit like your partner going 'and where are YOU going at THIS time of the night!':laugh:

RTP - Novibet still run full; think places like Casumo have some on higher like PNG, but No Limit not so much (wouldn't play there if you don't want a SOW for farting after 12am though)

Novibet, all the other WHG group casinos. Bet365 used to but haven't been on for ages so not sure about now.

My Will Hill account - has seen literally hundreds of thousands sterling play through. I was a winning poker player for years. Ive never needed to give them KYC or SOW. Used to me by first choice. However the nerfed RTP's mean no more!
 
According to the online resources I have checked, Rizk casino is considered to be a safe place to spend your money. At the same time, a friend of mine described Rizk casino as being a shady casino that will tell you that you were automatically verified, then as soon as you have made a deposit, they will block your account and make it impossible to get your money back.
I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a good business model for any casino.
 
This has to be one of the most intrusive and biggest pile of bullshite ever sent to a player! How fukking ridiculous questioning why you are playing after midnight - very insulting! Tell them to go do one. Supply them with zero and close the account at Rizk!

Never played at this place again since they gave me a run around on an 800 quid withdraw. I was forced then to supply documents (sow) and decided never to supply another SOW document ever. AllBritish casino requested documents last month - account closed - jog on. Rizk are as bad as they come now and so this thread sadly does not surprise me.

I mean you're ahead by £365. That's not supposed to happen, so something must be clearly wrong. They seem to be blaming your wins on the fact that you're playing after midnight. Everyone knows that playing after midnight is like bonus abuse. It's a big no-no, beacuse you just can't lose after midnight. :p

Rizk still owes me a fair amount of money. Some 51.000 € in withdrawals that just went "missing" as they were paid out in card refunds. Funny thing is that when I had the complete overview of the gaming transactions 7 months after (the self service function was of course out of service when this happened) which by far backs my story of the missing funds the casino just decided not to answer any query regarding these funds ever again. A bit like a trial in the Middle Ages where facts and proof was less important or as convincing as folklore and gossip.

Funny thing part 2 was that the gaming transactions also revealed som interesting details, or the lack of them, from a gaming session that was extremely awkward on a slot earlier this year. To malfunctioned some 50 times, and lets just say that it ate my balance (which at some point was close to 30.000 €) and bankroll. It came to an extent where it almost got silly these 4-5 hours of technical troubles I have ever seen either before or after on this slot.

apparently now it looks like all employees at Rizk are e instructed to deny. me any help regardless of the issue I m might have, and especially not when it comes to any of my missing funds which they absolutely will never look into again.

I had never in my life thought I would experience something like this. like a paranormal wormhole or something I got stuck in. and Nobody will help me retrieve the funds or take any part in it (that goes for their payment partner and my own bank at the time of dispute, Revolut).

Point and note to self in the end; do not spend 250.000 € on an online gamine operator. And if you do, the last thing you should expect if you win quite a nice share after doing so pray to the casino gods that the staff at the casino are in the mood too pay out the wins that day. You see that getting through the algorithms is one thing, getting through the customer service with your point of view at Zecure/Betsson must have a RTP of... maybe 75,6 %? :_p

I want to ask for recommendations of an operator that takes Bothe me and the industry a little bit more serious, but this episode kind of scared the crap out of me and killed most of my eager to "start over" at another operator if this is what to expect

RIZK awful place,its not the UKGC its them,also CASINO CALZONE AND METAL CASINO were the same,what i mean is playing at places like SKY VEGAS,BETFAIR,PADDY POWER etc you dont get all this nonsense

Okay that's a typical promotional ban-letter. But point is many finnish players got this message at the same time and we just can't find any explanatory factor why this happened. One player asked from chat and CS said that it was a mistake on the part of the casino (group?).
Other player asked from chat and CS said it wasn't an error. I received same message but my Rizk account still offering double speed promotion today.

We can't find any solution because we have conflicting information.

I know you maybe can't give any additional information about banning your politics but all i want to know is if it was an accident or not
There have been no repair messages from the casino
