What happens when you attain all achievements in TSII?

I have made it to the top of 'The Great Hall Of Spins' (Gold Mode it was called, I think).
I have also got the vast majority of wins, over thousands and thousands of spins, but I'm still missing:

All Wild TSII wins (3, 4 and 5) :(
5 Scatter
5 Thor
5 Odin
5 Valkyrie
4 Loki

And, strangely enough, 5 Jacks (why have I never had 5 jacks?)
Bearing in mind I've had 5 of everything with a wild or two, but they don't count.

What happens once I get all these? I'm guessing nothing? :rolleyes:

No-one has done it yet (that I'm aware of) - so we're all guessing "nothing" too! :(

BTW, I have everything except:
5 Wilds
4 Wilds
5 Scatter
5 Valkyrie

On a slightly related note, and it's probably an obvious question (but those are the ones I like to ask):

Say I got 5 wilds in TSII along the top row, like this:

W-W-W-W-W
1-2-3-4-5
6-7-8-9-10

Would I win for 5 wilds, plus five 1's, 2's, 3's and so on (basically 5 of a kind 11 times, because each other symbol passes through 4 wilds on their respective line)?

PS - what exactly is [the point of] Gold mode anyway? I've had countless bonus games since attaining it, but there is no discernible difference to before. If anything, I've won much less since.
 
TSII really shows the worst of Microgaming.

Hope people don't use all of their funds in this "impossible" chase.

No, I don't think it is impossible to get all achievements. I wrote "impossible" in quotation mark because it is almost impossible.

But I don't like the psychological strategy used by Microgaming in this game. Thunderstruck is or has probably been one of the most popular Microgaming slot, with a lot of "hardcore blood-fans". This I can understand, it is a great game.

So what do they do? They make Thunderstruck II where players needs to chase achievements over a long periode of time to receive overhyped rewards. It is like promoting addiction. It is probably not an coincident that they choose this strategy on TSII, I bet that Thunderstruck had a lot of addicted players. So why not make the successor even more addictive.

And I am the first to agree that players (of course) are responsible for their own losses/addictions. If players do get addicted or lose more than they can afford, then bad for them, not my or the casinos problem.

But I think it is legitimate to be critical to games like TSII.

Yeah well it certainly keeps me coming back for more.
Probably more so than LOTR, despite the fact I've won thousands on that slot (I am definitely well and truly 'up' on LOTR).

The bonus game on TSII is almost always a let-down; at least 9 out of 10 bonus games are at best 'meh'.
 
I agree! the TSII bonus usually sucks,the loki 15 freespins is the worst bonus ive ever played, that wild thing on centre reel comes in once if ur lucky and gives the wilds everywhere u dont want em. But heh just seen that screenshot by LINKINFART of the wildstorm feature and a screen full of wilds:eek2:,
Maybe one day i will get at least 5 wilds on a slot and join the club,3 years and still waiting.:(

There were quite a few myths created when TSII was released and none of them are true. If it ain't in the rules, it ain't gonna happen.

When I got the bonus round for the [I think it was] 25th time, it said "Congratulations, you have reached/achieved/attained (can't remember her exact terminology) Gold Mode!"

There was no difference in game play, just (as you've said) bragging rights.

fwiw, I just got my first fantastic bonus game there - I picked (despite my instincts) Thor's 25 spins with rolling reels feature and watched as I got three K, J, Q etc over and over again on my second spin before matching five; basically every icon exploded, but amazingly, they all fell back down again. This happened countless times.

I won about £380 (253x bet) and immediately visited the cashier to withdraw. :cool:
 
I love the Game... One of my favs. I also believe that it is irrelevant what Bonus you choose. 'Gold Mode' is a stupid thing to go for if all you have is bragging rights. Well, Im quite content playing ANY FS mode ... Ive gotten every combination on TSII besides 5 Scatters.

Just waiting for the 5 x Wilds during the Wild Storm...

I vaguely seem to remember having 3 Reels. Maybe It didn't happen, but I'm certain I have gotten it ONCE only. Only get 1's and 2's ALL the time :).

I just hit 4 wilds for the 1st time ever.

£150+

I'm going to start more threads that question whether something can actually happen. Like "do people really win progressive jackpots?..."

I have all but: 5 wilds, 4 wilds and 5 scatters on 32red, and this is from easily tens of thousands of spins.
Its gonna take some kind of hardcore rebuyer to get the 2.43million prize in gsos.
 
Just thought I'd mention here (rather than start a new thread) that I have now played 1000 (one THOUSAND) spins on TSII @ Ladbrokes and have YET to once get the bonus game (free spins).

I play between £1.50 and £3 per spin. We're talking easily in excess of £2000 worth of spins with no bonus game. Absolutely pathetic.

I haven't lost £2000 (far from it) because I'm getting plenty of other wins, which are then recycled as more spins but, come on. This is bloody awful :mad:

I can tell you now....there is NO way MG would be offering over $2m if they thought anyone was actually going to achieve it.

It's even possible that it is harder to do in tourney mode as it is a different version of the game and may well be set to never pay 5 scatters etc.

Yes I know i don't usually subscribe to game fixing theories, but something smells manky about this one.....and it isn't technically real play, just a fun mode of sorts.

I remember dogboy mentioned something about some things being different about RTG and mg tourneys but was prevented from discussing it due to commercial restraints.

Of course, if im wrong and someone wins it, then i will donate $100 of KKs money to my favorite casino...

I remember was published thunderstruck 2, I unlocked everything in 3 hours or 4 :D but im think for the two missing achievements i need my full lifetime :lolsign: ...or a MegaMonster Bankroll

Yeah sorry mate I was referring to the GSOSII tourney.

I have no doubt its achievable in real play, but I believe that the tournaments are different and always have - when they offered that prize it made me believe it even more. The amount wouldn't be covered by the entry fees and I can't see MG copping a loss.

I'll give u my 32 red account number if someone hits it lol.

I'm sure MG has taken out some kind prize indemnity insurance, to cover themselves in the unlikely event someone hits all combos.

This is almost certain. It is common practice for event promoters to do this when they offer a large prize for an unlikely, but entirely possible, achievement. In the main, they have to protect themselves from the prize being scooped early on, and thus noone else bothering to participate.

The Grand Slam has a rule that the achievements reset each time a rebuy is used, and this is how it is made far more difficult in tournament mode than in real play, since you cannot simply throw a big bankroll at it by using all 999 rebuys and all continues in each.
 
How many spins we need for so, on average, before roll along 5 scatters ??

Been playing this too long as well, over 100 bonus games so far and nothing significant come out yet, I feel getting 5 wilds in the normal mode is the best, I've got 4 though:mad:
 
I had this nice win 2 days ago, was so strange when I changed my lower stakes, I later though f.....it im playing a bonus, So went to 6$ each spin. And then magic happened (see my other thread for full story hehe) I managed to withdraw 2600$ from Grand Mondial Casino after Wagering trough :lolup:

I remember about Thunderstruck II when it was released. It seems to payout a lot in the start. And then suddenly stops paying at all (by that I mean when you first play and start getting all the rewards, but then later on it seems to pay less often) Hope that makes sence :confused:
but thats just my experience. I am not gonna chase your guys records haha. :p

I feel different than that. I actually find that out of all the slots I play, TSII gives me the best playtime. The wins aren't ever as big as those I would get on LOTR, but I seem to get 'decent' wins [between 50 to 100x bet+] very regularly.

Still missing the wins I posted earlier in this thread...

TSII will give you more features and more playtime. LOTR is just higher variance. I like both of them, but do not trust tLOTR for regular decent wins :D

Between tLOTR and TSII, I actually get '3 rings' much more often than '3 hammers' - I can regularly go 500 (and much more) spins on TSII without getting the bonus game. If it weren't for getting so many other wins I wouldn't touch it :D

At a stage Rings were easy to come by. I honestly get the feature without much hassle on TSII.... LOTR on the other hand has been a bit shitty in the last few months... Guess its ya luck :)

Yup seems to go in stages - sometimes can't hit a thing on TSII, other times 10 features in a session. Wether I GET anything on those ten features is another matter...
 
There's nothing more depressing than a crap return from a feature on either game when you are wagering £1.50 to £3 (and more) per spin.

"Congratulations, you have won ('won', pah!) 120 coins!" :rolleyes:

I still maintain that Valkyrie's feature is the best choice, always. More spins mean nothing when they're all dead.
 
Just an observation, if attaining all achievements ment some sort of a price, wouldn't Microgaming announce that in the rules, giving people an extra incentive to play it more then they would otherwise?

For the players close to reach them, I ofcourse hope I am wrong.

I would say that you are right. I'm certain there is no prize and all we will get is some sort of daft on-screen message.
I'm just chasing it out of sheer morbid curiosity.
