We're keen to hear how the community likes to play. Some of you swear by no-deposit offers to test a site risk-free; others go straight for the big welcome bonuses, and plenty just prefer playing with their own cash and no wagering to worry about.

Cast your vote and let us know your reasoning in the comments. It always helps to hear why a certain approach works for you.

I voted for all options EXCEPT Cashback, merely because I was allowed to.

If I had been restricted to one, I probably would have chosen "prefer to play with my own cash".

Which is quite the far cry from how I used to be ie a bit of a "bonus whore".

That all said, I would still welcome the occasional deposit bonus, if the WR was reasonable.
But it is certainly not a deal maker (or breaker) for me, given how my slotting habits have evolved/changed over the years.

For some context, I recently (in late April) signed up to Coral and also to Paddy Power.
No welcome bonus, no deposit bonus, no nothing.

But also no problem whatsoever.
I just stumped up my dough and played.

They both chuck in the odd batch of free spins (for wagering X pounds per day/week after promotional optin), with all winnings from those spins becoming cash, subject to zero WR.
And that's perfectly adequate for me.

To be honest, in my humble opinion, the biggest promotion any casino can come up with to win my custom isn't even a promotion at all.

It is simply "if I win and choose to cash out, casino pays out with no fuss".
If a casino willingly does that, it automatically trumps any promotion they come up with.

Ex bonus whore here too

Play mostly own cash here now and have done for a long time

The 10% CB at ABC does come in handy too. Not made a cashout from it (yet :p) but has given me extended play time after busting on a handful of occasions.

Loyal players / regular depositors should get a bonus which is not listed above (occasionally not all the time) when they hit a losing streak in the form of a "no strings" NDB say maybe 1.5x their average deposit value.
